NO RUST ANYWHERE. WAS GARAGED IN FLORIDA FOR MOST OF ITS LIFE !!!!"

NO RUST VEHICLE THAT HAS BEEN WELL CARED FOR!!!!

The miles are not representative of this vans condition and the performance of the motor shows it was maintained properly. It runs smooth and shifts smooth with good economy. It has the desirable small V8. The bottom is amazingly rust free and  looks as if it is a 2 or 3 year old vehicle. Amazing condition! There are screens on the side windows and they slide open. It even has a original privacy cover for the front.  Everything works except the AC which is currently not blowing cold. (The compressor was replaced last year but it seems it needs charging)

THIS IS A CLEAN  LOW TOP CONVERSION VAN ! !  It is hard to believe that this is a 96 model. Both the inside and outside look great. The paint shines and has perfect clear coat although the decals are beginning to fray in some places.  Non smokers car.  No smells or burns.  Has real wood trim .  No tears, stains  or rips in the seats or headliner.  Interior is velour and all is original. The interior color is fuschia  (royal blue?) with green carpet  Exterior is arctic white without any dents. There is a spare mounted and has a matching rim. There is some color fading on the carpet but no stains or wear.  Really sharp looking ceiling and valance lighting. Lights work and dim with 2 control panels!  There are two captains chairs and a rear seat  that folds to a bed. There are mounts to install a clothes pole behind the rear seat if you want to hit the road for an extended period. The seats are removed easily if you want to use it for moving or work. . Everything is original.  Has original stereo with a power antenna, cassette and CD..    All of the alloy wheels are in perfect shape, without any damage. Good tires with lots of life left.  Has Remote lock and alarm.. All the window shades are in perfect condition and go up and down as they should.  Owner's manuals included.

Once again, All in all it is in above average condition. The engine and transmission run and shift perfectly and smoothly without oil burn.  The odometer shows 189,700 but the title states that it is exempt, I was told that the engine and transmission was rebuilt some 30,000 miles prior to when I purchased it.  I have owned it for two years with several trouble free trips made between New England, Maryland and Florida..    Call me if you want to take a test drive it. These cars are headed to the Great Crusher In The Sky

Fri, 24 Aug 2012

It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).
Check out our gallery of discontinued cars above, then scroll down for more information.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray priced from $51,995*

Fri, 26 Apr 2013

After months of speculation, Chevrolet has finally revealed the official starting price of the 2014 Corvette Stingray. The base MSRP for the 450-horsepower Stingray Coupe will be $51,995, while the Stingray Convertible will go for $56,995 (*both prices include a $995 destination fee). This means that the price increase from 2013 to 2014 is just $1,400 for the coupe and $2,395 for the convertible - pretty modest increases considering the upgrade in specifications. Of course, neither price accounts for the sort of dealer markup that might grace early C7 window stickers, especially since less than a third of all Chevrolet dealers will be allocated Corvette models to sell at the car's launch.
Now, these prices are for the base car, so if you're wondering how much a fully loaded Stingray will run, Chevy has given us a good indication of that as well. The coupe we saw on display at the Detroit Auto Show (shown above), for example, would run $73,360 including options such as the $2,800 Z51 Performance Package, $2,495 competition sport seats and the $1,795 Magnetic Ride Control option - just to name a few. Stepping up to the 3LT trim level that brings a full leather interior will run an extra $8,005 over the base price.
While $20,000 in options may seem like a lot, this "as-tested" price still has the C7 competitively priced against rival coupes like the Porsche 911 and Nissan GT-R. Speaking of price comparisons, Chevrolet also points out that the C7 Stingray Z51 costs $2,200 less than the C6 Grand Sport while delivering better acceleration (0-60 mph in less than four seconds) and improved track performance (including more than 1 g in cornering).

Man spent $75 on a truck that lasted 38 years

Mon, Jan 5 2015

Absurd as it is, some buyers today are worried about getting their car to last throughout the term of their seven-year car loan. Minnesota resident Bob Sportel has the opposite issue: his Chevrolet truck seemingly won't die. Sportel needed a cheap ride to get to work when he took a job at a farmer's co-op 38 years ago, so he bought a rusty 1957 Chevy pickup for $75 from a farmer; at the time, the 20-year-old truck was almost as old as Bob was. After nearly four decades of daily driving and an estimated 300,000 miles, Sportel is still driving the truck today. Bolts secure a fender, Bondo secures the lights, what looks like a whole roll of duct tape keeps him sitting on the bench seat instead of in it. For a 58-year-old pickup that's never seen a garage or a new coat of paint – but did get its oil changed four times a year – that's not bad; Sportel thinks his repair bill hasn't got above $1,000 for the entire time he's owned the truck. He still has no plans to get rid of it, saying, "It just becomes a part of you." You can watch his story in the video above. News Source: KARE11.com Chevrolet Truck Classics Videos
