This is the nicest van I have ever owned. The only problem I have is that my kids are grown and I don't travel like I used to. I bought this two years ago and I only put 7000 miles on it! If there was a problem, I had it fixed at the best garage in town, namely Avenue Motors in Allentown, Pa. You can call them directly if you have questions as to condition or problems. There are no engine, drive train or major component issues at all. Avenue Motors just put two new tires on it. When I bought it, it had a bad tie rod on the front. It wore the two front tires a bit. I decided to replace them just this month. If any of my cars need anything, I get it fixed right. I believe you can buy a warranty for this van if you want peace of mind. I personally find extended warranty's a waste of money. I bought three of them in my lifetime and I never used one once! This van has a tow package on it. I never towed anything and the man I bought it from didn't tow anything. The owners manual says this van can tow 6000 lbs.
Every bell and whistle you can think of is in this van. DVD player, flat screen TV(standard def), rear CD player, satellite radio and navigation system, rear back up camera. No blue tooth though. I have been very happy with this van. There are small marks on the wheels that look like something from the road. I did wash and vacuum the van. I didn't use Armour All or anything to detail the trim or tires. There are no major marks on the outside of the body. I rate the overall condition an 8 out of 10 to be conservative. This van was in an accident in 2007. I think it was the right front fender. The work was done to repair it as it shows no sign of anything wrong. There was no frame damage. Buy with confidence. Thank you.

GM Canada recalls 159,240 GMC and Chevy trucks for faulty defroster circuit
Fri, Jul 12 2019General Motors is recalling more than 159,000 2014-2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks in Canada due to a potential fire risk. GM says the rear defroster circuit could overheat on trucks optioned with the power-sliding rear window. Thus far, there is no word on the recall's relation to U.S. vehicles. The recall, found by Automotive News, was posted to Transport Canada on June 28, 2019 with manufacturer recall No. N192220470. Included in the 159,240 vehicles are the 2014-2018 Silverado 1500, the 2015-2019 Silverado HD, the 2014-2018 Silverado LD, the 2014-2018 Sierra 1500, the 2015-2019 Sierra HD, and the 2014-2018 Sierra LD. The notice says the rear defroster circuit, specifically on trucks with the power-sliding rear window, could overheat. Because of its placement, this excess heat could cause melting, smoking, or possibly fire, in the worst case scenario. As of now, there is no official word when GM will initiate the recall and there is no official fix detailed just yet. GM suggests that owners, who will be notified by mail if their vehicles are affected, take their trucks to a dealer to remove the rear window defroster fuse as a stop-gap. Automotive News contacted GM to find out if the problem is also found in trucks sold in the United States, but no definitive statement was made, as the investigation is reportedly ongoing. We will update this space if American vehicles are found to be included in the problem.
2016 Chevy Equinox brings its revised face to Chicago
Thu, Feb 12 2015It's vital these days for automakers to keep up with the Jones' when in the crossover market. The segment is just too popular among buyers to let a vehicle waste away, and Chevrolet is giving the 2016 Equinox a slight refresh at the Chicago Auto Show to hopefully keep people interested. In reality, though, the CUV isn't too much different beyond a tweaked face and some interior improvements. The exterior now boasts a revised front fascia with a chrome-accented grille and projector beam headlights, and at the rear there are new taillights. Top -evel models get LED running lights, as well. Inside, the Equinox features a standard seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a backup cam, and for added safety, the CUV is now available with rear cross traffic and blade zone alert on some trims. Beyond these updates, the powertrains carry over entirely from before with the choice between a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a 3.6-liter V6. These refreshed 2016 models go on sale this fall. Crash victim found still inside car 6 hours after it was towed away [w/video]
Wed, Jan 7 2015Police near Dayton, OH, have quite a confusing case on their hands after the victim of a crash early on New Year's Day couldn't initially be found. Six hours later, the man was discovered lying on the vehicle's floorboard at the tow yard. The unidentified person was admitted to a local hospital in critical condition with possible leg injuries. The police first responded to the scene of the crash around 3:00 am on New Year's Day when a Chevrolet Impala hit a utility pole and drove through a fence, according to WHIO News. The authorities claim that they searched for the man for an hour and a half and came up with nothing. The car was then hauled away to the yard, which was only about 500 feet away. The tow yard worker found the man around 9:00 am and called 911. However, he was clearly dubious about the injured man's predicament and suggested to the operator that he might have returned to the Impala. Police are still investigating the incident. According to WHIO, authorities might have somehow missed the man in the sedan during the search. Alternatively, he could have left the scene of the accident and later returned. Watch the video below for more about this bizarre case. The video meant to be presented here is no longer available. Sorry for the inconvenience.
