If you’re looking for an outstanding value in a pre-owned SUV, look no further. For the last 6 years, it has been owned and cherished by a retired couple living in a large, ranch property in Idyllwild which is nestled in the San Jacinto Mountains near Banning CA. They've kept it meticulously maintained, garaged and pampered like their one and only child
Finished in the most desirable color combination; Silver Metallic with light gray leather interior, this SUV is a cut above the rest. Let's have a closer look now.
With the exception of a few very minor cosmetic flaws, (see detailed photos below) the original finish still looks great.
Newer Goodyear Wrangler Tires radials and 17” alloy wheels still have amazing detail.
Speaking of detail, let us stress how straight the body is, how glossy the paint: if you wouldn't know differently, you'd think to be looking at a 9-month old, not a 9-year old car. This one is that clean!
Always garaged and never smoked in, the leather interior is nearly flawless.
The audio system with in-dash CD guarantees pleasurable audio, even when traveling at speeds well above the double nickel.
And the 94,902 original miles are all meticulously maintained by the husband who is a retired, Master auto mechanic. Books and Owner’s manuals are in their original pouch. Both keys with locking remotes are included.
The spacious rear cargo area expands when the seats fold forward.
The spare wheel/tire, jack & lug wrench have never been used. A picture says more than a thousand words: this cargo area is immaculate! Engine & Mechanical:
Beyond religious oil and fluid changes, all services were performed at the recommended intervals.
As a result, this Eqinox is mechanically as strong as it is cosmetically. Yes, any Chevy can be very tough and reliable with a bit of preventative maintenance!
Drivability:
With a powerful V6 and all wheel drive, ride and handling on ay surface is a strong point for the Equinox with a pleasant blend of comfort and agility. In any climate, the powerful engine starts every time, idles, revs and pulls effortlessly without unusual noises or hesitation and accelerates strong and smooth leaving no smoke in your rear-view mirror.
Warmed up, temperature remains absolutely stable, with no hint of overheating even in the summertime and rush hour traffic. The 5-speed, automatic transmission with All Wheel Drive shifts seamlessly. Steering is precise and the ABS disc brakes anchor the SUV securely, in a straight line, and without any hint of fading. Aided with 17” alloy wheels, handling and braking are superb with no rattles, shakes, shimmies or pulls. All in all, this Equinox is a joy to drive!
Despite its age, the Chevy is perfectly reliable and ready to be driven anywhere, even across the Country, if that's where you live. Presently, we have a clear, California Title. CA license and registration fees have been pre-paid through May, 2014 and a CA smog Certificate will be provided to complete Title transfer here in CA. Local sales tax and DMV transfer fees apply to residents in CA. All questions must be answered and all inspections must be completed PRIOR TO BIDDING. We are proud to have 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK. Bid with confidence, knowing everything represented in this auction is accurate. Miles at auction end may be slightly higher than the 94,902 posted today due to test drives and the SUV is driven daily.
Here’s a unique opportunity to bid what YOU THINK is a FAIR PRICE. In the end, a NO RESERVE auction ensures that your winning bid will let you buy at fair market value.
***BID TO BUY***
Because this is a NO RESERVE auction, please DO NOT bid if you’re only “interested”. The private owners have Title in hand so there will be no delays on our end. Please only bid if you have 100% of the funds and are ready to PAY IN FULL.
Cars2K is a CA licensed and bonded eBay trading assistant and as listed this Equinox for the private owner.
Please note:
This Chevy’s present condition and buying terms have been described as accurately as possible. If you have ANY questions or want to schedule a personal or 3rd party inspection, please email us PRIOR TO BIDDING. You will receive a prompt response. This Chevys is offered here with No Reserve.
What a great opportunity to purchase this outstanding Equinox which is sure to remain an outstanding investment for the winning bidder and a joy to drive for many years to come.
Thank you, good luck and HAPPY BIDDING!

Sunday Drive: Trucks and SUVs of all shapes and sizes
Sun, Nov 5 2017The American automotive marketplace is dominated by trucks and SUVs, and so was the last week of coverage on Autoblog. By far, the most popular story of the week was our First Drive of the 2018 Lincoln Navigator. It may look like an old-school lumberer, but in reality Lincoln's flagship is a thoroughly modern, turbocharged-V6-powered, three-row, luxury people mover. The Jeep Wrangler is the world's most recognizable vehicle. So it's no surprise that the next version looks a whole heck of a lot like the last one, and the one before. It's all in the details, which is why we were so excited when Jeep decided to unleash a trio of images showing both two- and four-door Wranglers for us to dissect ahead of the SUV's official debut at the L.A. Auto Show later this year. Past that, spy photos of the next Chevy Silverado and Ram 1500 were predictably popular. See both of those below, and the cap it all off, check out the entire week's worth of SEMA coverage – including the bonkers Hennessey VelociRaptor 6x6 – in our mega image gallery at the bottom of this post. Enjoy! As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. 2018 Lincoln Navigator First Drive | From black sheep to flagship 2018 Jeep Wrangler revealed: First photos released before L.A. Autoblog's Editors' Picks: Our complete list of the best new vehicles
Mon, May 13 2024It's not easy to earn an “EditorsÂ’ Picks” at Autoblog as part of the rating and review process that every new vehicle goes through. Our editors have been at it a long time, which means weÂ’ve driven and reviewed virtually every new car you can go buy on the dealer lot. There are disagreements, of course, and all vehicles have their strengths and weaknesses, but this list features what we think are the best new vehicles chosen by Autoblog editors. We started this formal review process back in 2018, so there's quite of few of them now. So what does it mean to be an EditorsÂ’ Pick? In short, it means itÂ’s a car that we can highly recommend purchasing. There may be one, multiple, or even zero vehicles in any given segment that we give the green light to. What really matters is that itÂ’s a vehicle that weÂ’d tell a friend or family member to go buy if theyÂ’re considering it, because itÂ’s a very good car. The best way to use this list is is with the navigation links below. Click on a segment, and you'll quickly arrive at the top rated pickup truck or SUV, for example. Use the back button to return to these links and search in another segment, like sedans. If youÂ’ve been keeping up with our monthly series of the latest vehicles to earn EditorsÂ’ Pick status, youÂ’re likely going to be familiar with this list already. If not, welcome to the complete list that weÂ’ll be keeping updated as vehicles enter (and others perhaps exit) the good graces of our editorial team. We rate a new car — giving it a numerical score out of 10 — every time thereÂ’s a significant refresh or if it happens to be an all-new model. Any given vehicle may be impressive on a first drive, but we wait until itÂ’s in the hands of our editors to put it through the same type of testing as every other vehicle that rolls through our test fleet before giving it the EditorsÂ’ Pick badge. This ensures consistency and allows more voices to be heard on each individual model. And just so you donÂ’t think weÂ’ve skipped trims or variants of a model, we hand out the EditorsÂ’ Pick based on the overarching model to keep things consistent. So, when you read that the 3 Series is an EditorsÂ’ Pick, yes, that includes the 330i to the M3 and all the variants in between. If thereÂ’s a particular version of that car we vehemently disagree with, we make sure to call that out.
