This 2005 Equinox LT has the alloy wheels, automatic transmission, V6 power, all-wheel drive, leather seats, tinted windows, power windows, locks, cold a/c, power moon roof, cd with 1 month of xm radio, keyless entry, and as you can see some nice chromework on the exterior. This truck stands tall in the electric blue with the chrome, you won't blend into the crowd in this sharp suv.
The exterior of this vehicle is in great shape. I would say it has the usual dings and scratches you should expect for a used 2005 but it really looks nice. There is no evidence of paintwork, and she shines better than most. The alloy wheels are in great shape, and the only area to bring to your attention is the tailgate. As you can see in the pictures, there is a fairly small dent in the bottom of the tailgate. It does not effect the operation of the tailgate and if desired could be fixed for a couple hundred dollars. Other than that, it looks great.
The interior doesn't disappoint either. This trucks leather is in great shape with no tears or stains, and I would say is in above average shape, showing very little wear. The carpets are clean and all of the panels are in good shape. All of the power equipment works great on this Equinox. There are a couple small stars in the glass near the top on the drivers side. They are above the line of sight and are so small I doubt they would distract anyway. I would give the interior a solid 8/10.
The mechanical condition of this vehicle is great. It starts every time, runs smooth with no check engine light. The engine sounds great with no abnormal noises, and doesnt smoke. The transmission shifts nicely and goes through all of the gears smoothly. The AWD works and provides alot of traction when you need it. The brakes stop well, there is a very slight pulse sometimes, pedal feels good. The Tires aren't bald by any means, but they are showing some wear with a slight vibration over 70 and some hum going down the road. I would say a new set of tires would go a long way and give you a nice smooth, quiet ride. I would say its 9/10 on mechanical due to needing tires, but that is pretty minor.

The NADA book value on this Equinox is 9,825.00 and for a car like ride and high 20's for MPG it holds it value well, but you tell me what it's worth. High bidder drives it home!

Tue, Jun 23 2020It goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway. The world is full of cars, and just about as many of them are bad as are good. It's pretty easy to pick which fall into each category after giving them a thorough walkaround and, more important, driving them. But every once in a while, an automobile straddles the line somehow between good and bad — it may be hideously overpriced and therefore a marketplace failure, it may be stupid quick in a straight line but handles like a drunken noodle, or it may have an interior that looks like it was made of a mess of injection-molded Legos. Heck, maybe all three. Yet there's something special about some bad cars that actually makes them likable. The idea for this list came to me while I was browsing classified ads for cars within a few hundred miles of my house. I ran across a few oddballs and shared them with the rest of the team in our online chat room. It turns out several of us have a few automotive guilty pleasures that we're willing to admit to. We'll call a few of 'em out here. Feel free to share some of your own in the comments below. Dodge Neon SRT4 and Caliber SRT4: The Neon was a passably good and plucky little city car when it debuted for the 1995 model year. The Caliber, which replaced the aging Neon and sought to replace its friendly marketing campaign with something more sinister, was panned from the very outset for its cheap interior furnishings, but at least offered some decent utility with its hatchback shape. What the two little front-wheel-drive Dodge models have in common are their rip-roarin' SRT variants, each powered by turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines. Chevy exec confirms SS production model reveal at Daytona on Feb 16
Wed, 06 Feb 2013The 2014 Chevrolet SS will make its racing debut for the 2013 Daytona 500, but the production version of the car will get its official unveiling on February 16 in Daytona, a week before The Great American Race. According to a report by Automotive News, the reveal has been confirmed by Jim Campbell, Chevy's US vice president of performance and motorsports. With the departure of the Dodge Charger, the new Chevrolet racecar will be the only competitor to feature a V8, rear-wheel-drive layout in both street and NASCAR form.
NASCAR fans will be able to see the new fullsize performance-oriented sedan on display in the festivities leading up to the Daytona 500, but the car won't go on sale until later in the year. The Australian-built Chevy SS will be a low-volume performance model, and it will be priced above the 2014 Impala, which starts at $27,535.
