-Power steering and Power brakes.

-Crager S/S wheels with Brand new BFG T/A Tires 215/70R14 front 225/70R14 rear.

Brand New Parts Installed this month: KYB Shocks front and rear, Bell Tech springs front and rear, Upper control arm bushings, sway bar bushings and linkage, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, Edelbrock Perfromer series 600cfm Carb. w/electric choke, Fuel sending unit, Fuel pump, Fuel lines, Battery cables, Autolite spark plugs, Moroso plug wires, Cap And Rotor, Power barke booster, and Flow master exhaust. Included with the purchase of this car is a new Flow Master American Thunder dual Exhaust System that needs to be installed. The cost in parts and tires alone is over $2,600

Car is almost all original with the exception of some parts I changed to make it a better and a more reliable daily driver. I did however keep some of the original parts. These will come with the car: carburetor, intake manifold, and air filter ass.

This car is a great daily driver that runs and drives very smooth, sounds and looks great. In my opinion the paint is a 6 out of 10 and there is two small rust bubbles. One bubble is by the fuel door and the other is above the rear fender. All the chrome is in excellent condition, no dents or pits. The dash is not cut up and the original radio is intact. The glove box is even still there. The interior seats, carpet, and headliner are in excellent condition, obviously not original. The bed has a rolled in liner that looks great and was done properly. The Brakes have over 50% pad left on the shoes and they work great. As far as I can tell after having the car on a lift there has never been any real accident damage. The frame and suspension is in excellent condition and no heavy rust.

I feel this car would make a great candidate to be fully restored if you are wanting a complete original 327 El Camino. Or this car can continue as a great daily driver as is and will be fun to drive and tinker with for someone who just wants a cool car from the 60’s.

MotorWeek looks back at 1995 Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon

Sat, Jun 20 2015

MotorWeek's Retro Review series gives us a nostalgic look back at some of the best sports cars and luxury sedans available in the 1980s and '90s. For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.

Recharge Wrap-up: Chevy Volt class action suit proposed, Tesla stock could outperform in 2015

Sat, Dec 27 2014

A class action suit has been proposed against General Motors for a steering problem in the Chevrolet Volt. The plaintiffs claim that a defect can cause the steering to freeze intermittently, and that General Motors either knows or should have known about the problem. The case, filed in New Jersey, also claims that defective parts are replaced with the same or similar parts, which are also defective. The plaintiffs say that claims for the 100-plus-member class exceed $5 million. Read more at Law360 or at BigClassAction. Tesla Motors stock (TSLA) has risen after weeks of losses. It gained 5.4 percent during the week ending December 19, when it closed at $219.29 per share. Since then, it rose slightly more, closing at $222.26 on December 24. Morgan Stanley lowered its target price on Tesla stock from $320 to $290, predicting lower sales on the upcoming Model III than expected before, but still called Tesla a good long-term investment. Analysts at CNBC predicted Tesla to be the best performing stock of 2015. Read more at ETF Daily News. Oslo- and New York-based architecture firm Snohetta has designed a zero-emissions house that also charges an electric car. The ZEB Pilot House, built in Larvik, Norway, uses a solar panel on the roof to power the house, which also provides enough excess energy to charge an EV. To make the most of energy most efficiently, the house uses smart technology to use as much energy as it can once it's harvested. This means one can turn on appliances like the washing machine remotely while the sun is at the optimum angle in the sky - perhaps during mid-day when the residents are at work. The house also uses organic materials and is designed to save as much energy as possible. Read more at Wired.

GM 6.2L V8 claims most powerful light-duty truck engine title

Thu, 12 Sep 2013

General Motors has officially captured the horsepower crown for mainstream pickup trucks with its 6.2-liter V8. The big mill, available in both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, comes to market with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, handily outdoing its two cross-town competitors, Ram (5.7-liter V8, 395 ponies and 407 lb-ft) and Ford (6.2-liter V8, 411 hp and 434 lb-ft).
The new GM 6.2 will take a bit of an investment, though. Those that want the extra thrust will need to go with either the LTZ or High Country trims from the Chevy, or the SLT and Denali trims from GMC, which are the two highest trim levels for the respective vehicles. Trim levels aside, if you're in the business of towing, GM has you covered. Optioned with the 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package, owners will be able to pull 12,000 pounds, a hugely impressive figure.
We still aren't certain as to what sort of economy the new engine will get, but it'll probably be a bad bet for the fuel conscious. As for availability, expect to see the 6.2-liter trucks in showrooms later in the fall.
