1965 El Camino in very good shape. The vehicle has been very well maintained and it shows very nice. The transmission has been upgraded to a 4speed. The engine has been upgraded with a mild cam.

The gears are 4:10 and the car has headers. SOUNDS AWESOME!!! Last month put new Elderbrock air cleaner and valve covers. Replaced gasket and upgraded cooling fan. Runs Great!!! A new high beam switch was installed and also a turn signal switch. The drivers weather strip vent window was replaced and have the passenger door strip included in sale. Proper ignition switch/bezel replaced.

The exterior of the car has been updated with new red line tires with less than 500 miles. Rally rims have been added and the proper antenna was recently updated. I recently replaced a couple of the moldings bed rails including the tail gate that had a couple of dents and scratches with new ones. The bowtie mirror and driver side drip rail was replaced with new. The chrome bumpers are in great shape. This car is straight and any work has been done right.

Interior: The interior looks amazing. The dash looks great and the headliner looks new and no fading. The proper radio was installed. In the last year brand new seat covers and door covers. I upgraded new carpet in Dec. 2013 and included new El Camino floor mats. Spare tire cover and jack cover are correct.

This car I drive only to local car shows on the weekend. It drives great and has NO squeaks or rattles. It really is a nice driving car. Pull into a show and heads will turn with the look and sound of this car. This car needs nothing!!!

Seeing the Detroit Auto Show via drone

Seeing the Chevrolet display at the Detroit Auto Show is worth doing this year, and not just because of the new Corvette Z06, Volt and Bolt concept. In order to attract the new kids, The Bowtie has gone what the old kids used to call "buck wild" with their show stand at Cobo Hall. A Corvette Z06, Trax, and Colorado are parked along a central aisle, called Mainstreet, at the end of which is a 20-foot-tall, 73-foot long transparent screen lording over the new Volt. Elsewhere are five more 20-foot-tall screens broadcasting nine stories today's Chevrolet wants to tell about its vehicles, from performance to belief in the power of play to its 4G LTE-equipped OnStar telematics service. Then there are the social media and virtual reality safety installations, the community presentations and more. Chevrolet flew a drone through the stand to show off what it's doing, which is has replaced eye-level video as the next best thing to being there. You can check it out in the video above.
