Having owned this car for 10 years and only added 35K to the total I know it stem to stern. EVERYTHING works. Cold A/C. Daytime running lights added. Less than 3K on all brakes with drilled/slotted rotors. Front Cooper Zeon tires are at least 80% good. Just this year I bypassed the PASSKEY and VATS security systems as well as replaced the OPTI, the coil, the control module, and the ignition switch. Has a Meziere electric water pump. Has a Power Acoustic PTID 7250Nr, 7" lcd display am/fm, cd, dvd, sd, 200 Watt receiver and a Planet Audio AC 1800.5 5 channel amp1200 Watt @ 2 ohms + 600 watts to sub woofer, sub is a Thump! AT8 800 watt dual channel dual speaker. All ujoints on drive shaft and axles replaced 2012. New front air dam today. Brand new owners manual and kit. Set of Factory Service Manuals. Looking back at the Citation IV concept that likely shaped the GM EV1

We're not sure how that applies to the GM EV1, but we'd still like to share something from Autoline Daily, an online automotive new show with our friend John McElroy. He's been covering the business for decades now and recently found something interesting: pictures of the 1984 Chevrolet Citation IV concept, seen above. Displayed half a decade before the first electric concept that would become the EV1 (inset), McElroy says it's now clear that the elegant, aerodynamic EV1 took a lot of styling cues from the Citation IV, which was developed in part thanks to GM's new-at-the-time Aerodynamics Laboratory. We agree with him that the spats over the rear wheels, the flush glass, and the covered headlights all bear a certain kind of similarity between the two cars. That the colors almost match is a nice coincidence. The Impact (the concept version of the EV1) looked "frumpier," McElroy says, because it wasn't as long as the Citation. GM cutting Chevy Sonic, Buick Verano production by more than 20%
Sat, Jun 13 2015General Motors' Orion Assembly plant in Michigan is seeing even more production cuts this year to further reduce inventories of the Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano. These latest adjustments mean layoffs for about 100 workers in phases starting in July. "GM Orion Assembly will adjust plant production capacity to better align with market demand," the company said in a statement announcing the change. Through May, sales of the Sonic are down 28.5 percent to 29,082 vehicles, and the Verano is off 15.6 percent, with 15,279 sold this year. According to unnamed plant insiders speaking to Automotive News, the assembly rate is slowing at Orion Assembly from the current 33 cars an hour down to 26 an hour, a 21-percent reduction. GM is also reportedly going to keep the plant idle for three weeks during the normal summer shutdown, rather than the usual two. Earlier in the year, the factory was idled for two weeks due to excess supply of the Sonic and Verano. In March, it was closed again for several days for the same reason. The Orion Assembly plant is the future home to the line for the Chevy Bolt EV. GM Statement: GM Orion Assembly will adjust plant production capacity to better align with market demand.
