History of the car to the best of my knowledge:
The original owner of the car was from Alabama and he was incarcerated back in the late seventies. Vehicle was stored in a warehouse with the rest of his belongings, until he died in prison in 2002. His family members divided his belongings and his daughter inherited it and then sold it to an older gentleman in Georgia (He was 60 years old in 2002), registered it as an antique vintage vehicle and drove it only a few hundred miles a year. I bought it from him last year and registered it in Alabama as a Vintage car as well.

Numbers Matching car (Original Engine/ Transmission)
Low original mileage (26K miles)
Original Interior
Original wheels, hub caps, and wheel trim.
Original Carburetor.
Always used 93 Octane gas in it

The vehicle is always been registered as an Antique Vintage vehicle since it came out of storage in 2002, limiting the mileage and usage to a few hundred miles a year. It has also been insured by American Collectors insurance company in the amount of $30,000. The car has always been started and driven occasionally to keep it in a running condition. Always been Alabama and Georgia Vehicle, never been north. Paint is glossy as you can see in the pictures but during storage, the car wasn't covered, so you will be able to see scratches, paint chips, etc when you are close to the car. Front speakers are in-op, tried to replace them but I cracked the top dashpad in the process, so I left it as is.

FAQ:

Q: Any frame rust?
A: No, Frame is free of rust. Got to see undercarriage to appreciate.

Q: Any rust on the floor panels?
A: No, the floor panels are made of fiberglass in the 1974 and older vehicles. So no rust, and no chance of rust in the future.

Q: Headlights go up and down? Low beam/ high beam work?
A: Yes

Q: Wipers work?
A: Yes

Q: I live in x State, that is about xxx miles away from you, can I drive it home?
A: I would drive it anywhere. Tune up is recommended before thousands of miles trip.

Q: Is the car in perfect condition?
A: Car is in good original condition, but don't expect a brand new 39 years old car, and don't expect a fully restored car, car runs and drives with no major problems but you may need to take care of minor issues like o'clock in-op, hazy taillights, and some guage lights in-op. Be realistic about what you expect and Please don't bid if you don't know what you getting yourself into.

Q: Does the car have a title?
A: Alabama State like many other States registered the cars before 1975 and never titled them. You will receive current Original (not a copy) Alabama Registration, and a bill of sale. If your State requires titling, then you will get a title issued in your name when you take the documnets to the DMV/ tag office.

Q: Would you consider trades?
A: No, I need the cash.

Q: What is the MPG?
A: About 18 MPG.

Q: Can I use it as a everyday car?
A: It would make a good everyday car, a good collectable car, or it can be used as a good platform for a nut to bolt restoration.

All welcome to come take a look and test drive the car.
I will be happy to answer any questions you may have to the best of my knowledge,

Corvette Z06 and Viper TA square off at the strip

Wed, Jan 21 2015

There are many long-standing grudge matches among automobiles: 911 vs GT-R, Mustang vs Camaro, Ferrari vs Lamborghini... but as far as high-end American metal goes, it doesn't get much more legendary than Viper vs 'Vette. So after Chevy released the new Corvette Z06, we knew it was only a matter of time before it would have to square off against the Viper TA. And what better place to pit these two parallel pillars of American performance than on the drag strip? Fortunately that's just what we have here. In one corner, the 2014 Dodge Viper TA, with its 8.4-liter V10 pumping out 640 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. In the other, the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, the supercharger on its 6.2-liter V8 more than making up for the discrepancy in displacement and cylinder count to produce 650 hp and just as much torque. But numbers don't tell the whole story, so watch the video clip to see which reaches the end of the quarter-mile first. Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold

Wed, 13 Feb 2013

Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.

Corvette Stolen In Detroit Returned To Owner After 33 Years

Wed, Jun 25 2014

A Detroit man had his stolen Corvette returned 33 years after it disappeared while parked on one of Detroit's main drags, according to ABC 7. The last time George Talley saw his 1979 Corvette was on a July day in 1981, when it disappeared from its parking spot on Jefferson Avenue in Detroit. He had given up hope of ever seeing his car again, until a phone call from AAA brought his sporty ride home. Authorities had come across a Corvette with a questionable VIN in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. When they ran the number Talley's stolen car report came up. The car is still in pretty good shape and only has 47,000 miles on the odometer. Talley wasn't sure how he could get the car back home, but General Motors stepped in and agreed to cover the cost of bringing the 'Vette home. Talley has always had a passion for Detroit-made muscle cars. "I've always liked Corvettes. It was attractive. The ladies like 'em," Talley told ABC 7.
