-6 speed Manual -42,xxx miles -Clean Title, Registered and has current MA inspection sticker until July -9.9/10 showroom condition. Paint is flawless, interior is flawless. Shows absolutely no age for a 1999 car. Paint isnt fading, has no swirl marks. its remarkable. Front bumper is cracked, but for $600 i will have the bumper replaced with an OEM bumper and painted professionally. Crack is not noticeable with black car bra on -Perfect running condition with zero issues. Have complete list of work performed under warranty -New brake pads, rotors, oil change, tires before being stored for winter. Clutch is perfect, all electronics work perfect. no leaks, squeaks, rattles or other issues. -Have installed a steering column lock bypass and key chip bypass (people who know corvettes will understand these, it's a must have on any corvette). -Only modifications include a stack racing ram air intake, MGP caliper covers, and chrome rear exhaust plate, and LED interior/exterior bulbs to replace the yellowish halogen bulbs. I have original bulbs and original intake as well Has nearly all options available from factory for '99. NHTSA closes book on Ford, GM probes of 600,000 vehicles
Thu, Nov 27 2014US safety regulators have closed a pair of investigations into some 500,000 Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis and Marauder sedans built between 2004 to 2007, and 100,000 Chevrolet Impala models from 2014. The Ford investigation focused on rusting heat shields, which may become dislodged and jam the steering, according to Reuters. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found that this happened very rarely. In fact, of the ten incidents filed with the government safety watchdog, six came from a single police department, which evidently had some sort of problem with its reporting. As for the Impala, the NHTSA investigators attributed two incidences of "unintended autonomous braking" to user error. In both cases, the vehicles were involved in rear-end collisions. According to GM investigators, it's believed that drivers accidentally activated the electric parking brake, causing the collisions. The vehicles in question were rental cars. Seeing the Detroit Auto Show via drone
Sun, Jan 18 2015Seeing the Chevrolet display at the Detroit Auto Show is worth doing this year, and not just because of the new Corvette Z06, Volt and Bolt concept. In order to attract the new kids, The Bowtie has gone what the old kids used to call "buck wild" with their show stand at Cobo Hall. A Corvette Z06, Trax, and Colorado are parked along a central aisle, called Mainstreet, at the end of which is a 20-foot-tall, 73-foot long transparent screen lording over the new Volt. Elsewhere are five more 20-foot-tall screens broadcasting nine stories today's Chevrolet wants to tell about its vehicles, from performance to belief in the power of play to its 4G LTE-equipped OnStar telematics service. Then there are the social media and virtual reality safety installations, the community presentations and more. Chevrolet flew a drone through the stand to show off what it's doing, which is has replaced eye-level video as the next best thing to being there. You can check it out in the video above.
