Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States
PRICE REDUCED !! 2012 CHEVROLET CORVETTE GRAND SPORT 3 LT TRIM*** HERITAGE EDITION *** I ORIGINALLY PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE FROM A LADY DOWN IN FLORIDA IN DEC. OF 2013. IT HAD 6500 MILES ON IT THEN. MY WIFE AND I ENJOY OUR RIDES AND USUALLY PUT BETWEEN 6-8 K MILES ON A YEAR. AS YOU CAN TELL WE'RE PRETTY CLOSE TO THAT ON THIS ONE.I AM VERY METICULOUS WITH MY VEHICLES. MY GRAND SPORT HAS BEEN KEPT IN MY HEATED GARAGE AS LONG AS I HAVE OWNED IT. THIS VEHICLE RUNS FLAWLESS AND I AM CONFIDENT THAT IT WILL HAVE MANY MORE TROUBLE FREE MILES.THE GRAND SPORT LOOK IN MY OPINION IS ONE OF A KIND. THE ONLY REASON I AM PARTING WITH THIS CAR IS THAT WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF MOVING AND NEED TO FREE UP SPACE. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TELL IN MY PICTURES HOW I KEEP MY GARAGE AND MY VEHICLES. THE RECENT PICTURE SHOWS THE GARAGE IN MOVING CONDITION WITH BOXES.HOPEFULLY THE PICTURES WILL DEMONSTRATE HOW BEAUTIFUL THE CAR IS. THE ONLY BLEMISH I CAN THINK OF ARE SLIGHT RUB MARKS ON THE LOWER LEFT FRONT WHICH ACTUALLY WERE THERE WHEN I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AND I NEVER TOOK NOTICE.IF YOU ARE SERIOUSLY INTERESTED, LET ME KNOW IF I CAN ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE.

Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.

Toyota tops Kelley Blue Book's Resale Value Awards
Tue, 27 Nov 2012Kelley Blue Book announced its annual Best Resale Value Award winners, and we weren't too surprised to see the list dominated by Japanese automakers - mainly Toyota and Honda. KBB hands out the awards based on the projected residual value of mostly all 2013 model year vehicles, and Toyota skated home with a number of awards including 10 of the 22 overall categories and having five of its products in the top 10 for models with best resale value. KBB's Best Resale Value Awards were announced in the same week as the ALG Residual Value Awards, and there were many similarities between both lists, especially when it came to Toyota.
To come up with its winners, KBB measures depreciation over the first five years of ownership, and looks for the cars it expects to hold its value the best after this time; on average, the report says the 2013 model year vehicles will lose 61.8 percent of its value in five years. Of the 22 categories, 15 slots were filled by Toyota, Honda and Nissan products, while the Camaro and Porsche (Cayenne and Panamera) each took home a pair of awards. If Toyota has anything to be upset about in this list of cars, it's that categories for Hybrid/Alternative Energy Car and Electric Vehicle went to the Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Volt, respectively.
The overall top 10 models for the best resale value in 2013 are, in alphabetical order:
Fewer than 1 in 3 Chevy dealers earn right to initially sell C7 Corvette
Mon, 01 Apr 2013Looking to make the launch of the 2014 Corvette Stingray as efficient as possible, Chevrolet will be limiting the numbers of its dealers that can sell the all-new coupe and convertible. According to Automotive News, sales of the C7 Corvette will initially be limited to less than a third of Chevy's total dealership network when the 'Vette goes on sale this summer.
Only 900 dealers out of more than 3,000 locations nationwide will be allowed to sell the new Corvette at first, and the reason for this is so that there are no shortages at dealers that can actually get the cars sold. The article says that the 900 dealerships chosen represented 80 percent of total Corvette sales in 2012.
Some of the requirements dealers had to make to get initial allocation of Stingray sales include having sold at least four Corvettes in 2012 and having a Corvette Stingray specialist who will be required to have gone through a training session costing more than $2,000 per attendee. Once demand for the 2014 Corvette Stingray begins to subside - approximately six to nine months after it goes on sale - then allocation could open up to more dealers, but the report indicates this could happen following the 2014 model year.
