2012 Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition - 100th Anniversary

*Highest Optioned AND Lowest Mileage Centennial Edition Z06 For Sale!

MSRP: $96,855.00

I am the original owner of this Centennial Edition Corvette Z06 and had it built from the factory.  This is the highest optioned Centennial Z06 for sale and has the lowest miles (2,271).  I have the original window sticker, order sheets and build status sheets from when the car was built.  There were only 194 Centennial Edition Z06's built total.

The car is equipped with the following options:  Centennial Edition Package, 3LZ Option Package, Carbon Fiber Hood, Carbon Fiber Splitter and Side Skirts, Battery Protection Package

Added on options: Mild 2 Wild Remote Switch (Bi-Mode Exhaust Remote Controller), Skip Shift Eliminator and 5% Window Tint added to side/rear windows

The Centennial Package included a custom "Carbon Flash Metallic" exterior Color, Flat Black Racing Stripes, Black/Red Stripe Wheels (19" Front, 20" Rear), Custom Leather/Alcantara Interior (Black/Red Stitching), Alcantara Steering wheel, Alcantara Shift Boot, Alcantara Center Console Cover, Red Stitching on Dashboard and Door Panels, "Louis Chevrolet" Racing Inspired Steering Wheel Center Logo, "Louis Chevrolet" Racing Inspired Logo on all 4 Wheel Center Caps, Custom Corvette 100th Anniversary Emblems on front and Rear of car, Corvette "Carbon Fiber Pattern" Decals above Side Doors near Roof Line.  The F-55 "Magnetic Selective Ride Control" Suspension (Found in the ZR-1) was also included with the Centennial Edition Package (Includes 5-mode Traction Control and Launch Control).

Unlike any other Centennial Edition Z06 For Sale, this car is equipped with the Carbon Fiber Hood $2,495.00  AND the Z06 Carbon Fiber Package (Splitter and Side Skirts) $3,995.00

As mentioned above, the car has only 2,271 miles and that includes the 400 miles I drove the car home from New Hampshire to New Jersey when I picked it up from the dealer who ordered it for me. The car is kept in a clean garage under the factory Z06 Car Cover while hooked up to the factory supplied Battery Tender. When I do have the opportunity to take the car for a ride, it is detailed every time it is parked in the garage in order to keep the inside of the car cover clean.  The car has only been driven on nice days when I have extra time (Rarely!!).  It has never been out in the rain or snow.

(My pickiness = Your reward!)

This car is amazing in every way possible.  The only reason I am selling is because I have three young sons who enjoy going for rides as much as I do.  The two seats aren't cutting it anymore.  As much as I don't want to sell, priorities are forcing me to look for a 4-seater "fun" car.

See the pictures below and judge the car for yourself.  You won't be disappointed.  The car has also been featured in 1 Magazine and 2 Calendars already.

I reserve the right to end this auction early if a local buyer decides to purchase prior to auction end.

$71,000 is the Buy it Now Price  - Look at the other Centennial Z06's on Ebay and you will see that this is an EXTREMELY FAIR Price and the car is worth every penny.

On Aug-25-13 at 09:03:28 PDT, seller added the following information:

Note: I have been contacted by bidders confirming that I have all manuals and keys.   YES, I have BOTH keys/Remote's AND all manuals, books, DVD's, etc.  As previously stated, I ordered this car and had it built from the factory.  I have EVERYTHING.  The car has NEVER been in an accident, damaged, etc.  Even under the front splitter is a piece of plastic that drags on the road to warn you if you are driving over something that may damage the car.  Most Z06's show a lot of wear and scrapes on this piece as it is intended to do.  The one on this car has NO Scratches.  Car has never scraped, bottomed out, etc.  NEVER Raced either.  I hope that answered a few questions.

Recharge Wrap-up: Detroit Electric teaser video, Nissan Leaf is Good Housekeeping "Tried and Tested"

Mon, Oct 20 2014

Detroit Electric has a new teaser video and has updated its brand in preparation of the introduction of the SP:01. The refreshed logo uses a blue and white color palette, and the company has also given its website a new look. The teaser video, which gives a sneak peek at the exterior of the SP:01, shows the car taking form in the midst of an electrical storm. Watch the video or learn more in the press release below. Abengoa is celebrating the grand opening of a commercial scale cellulosic ethanol plant in Hugoton, KS. When running at full scale, the refinery will produce up to 25 million gallons of ethanol a year. The plant will also generate enough electricity to power itself and put some back into the grid. Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz was on hand for the dedication, saying, "Every gallon of cellulosic ethanol produced and used to fuel our vehicles reduces the impact of harmful greenhouse gas emissions by greater than 60 percent as compared to conventional gasoline." Learn more at Energy.gov. Good Housekeeping has named the Nissan Leaf one of its "Tried and Tested" vehicles. The magazine called the Leaf SL its top "Roomy Electric" vehicle in its November issue. The magazine's research institute evaluated the EV based on track and road driving, ergonomics and convenience features. Good Housekeeping made note of the car's "impressive" range, but according to Nissan's Fred Diaz, "the real beauty of the Nissan Leaf is that it's roomy and, best of all, fun to drive." Read more in the press release below. Quasar Energy Group produces compressed natural gas from sewage and garbage. It uses things like grains leftover from brewing Budweiser, food waste from a baseball stadium and sewage sludge to produce the gas through anaerobic digestion. The compressed gas can then be used to power cars like Chevrolet's Bi-fuel Impala, which goes on sale later this year. Chevrolet likens the situation to the Delorean time machine in the Back To The Future movie series, which uses garbage to fuel its fusion generator. GM cutting Chevy Sonic, Buick Verano production [UPDATE]

Sun, Jan 25 2015

UPDATE: A previous version of this story indicated that Orion Assembly would be idled for seven weeks, from February 16 through April 6. This was incorrect. The factory will instead only be idled for the weeks of February 16 and April 6. The story has been edited to reflect this. General Motors has announced that the factory responsible for the Buick Verano and Chevrolet Sonic will be idled for the weeks of February 16 and April 6, with blame being placed on excess supply. The Orion Assembly plant, about 45 minutes north of GM's Renaissance Center headquarters, employs about 1,800 people, but they'll be given a pair of furloughs as inventories of the sub-compact Sonic and premium compact Verano reach 127 days and 84 days, respectively. That works out to 26,600 Chevys and 9,800 Buicks waiting for buyers. According to Automotive News, the compact Chevy sales bested the industry average in 2014, jumping up nine percent versus the the overall segment's eight-percent gain, while the Buick sedan's sales were down four percent. When asked about the shutdown, a GM spokesman told AN that it will "build to market demand," while also pointing out that the company did not comment on production plans. GM invests $24 million to build more crew cab trucks in Fort Wayne

Thu, May 30 2019

The full-size pickup truck arms race continues unabated here in the United States as Ford, General Motors and Fiat Chrysler battle back and forth for sales supremacy. The Ford F-Series of trucks continues to lead the field in sales (214,611 units sold through the first quarter of 2019), but the race for second place has been a lot more interesting to watch. That's because Ram, long a distant third in truck sales, eked its way past Chevrolet late in 2018 and has managed to hold the position so far in 2019. Don't take this to mean that sales of GM's trucks have been poor across the board. In fact, the automaker reports that sales of its four-door crew cab pickups are up 20 percent in 2019 over the same period a year ago. And that's what makes GM's announcement today so interesting. The automaker is investing $24 million into its assembly plant in Fort Wayne, Indiana to build more Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks, and the focus will continue to be on crew cab models. "We are building Chevrolet and GMC crew cab pickups at record volume and mix levels to meet customer demand and the $24 million investment will allow us to build even more," said GM chief Mary Barra in a statement. "Crew cab sales have been very strong, and we are expanding customer choice with new models, more cab choices and innovative new powertrains." It's worth noting that, if crew cab sales are up 20% this year, but overall sales are down (over 15% for Silverado and around 2% for GMC), that means it's the cheaper regular cab and double cab models that are lagging. At the same time, sales of the midsize Chevy Colorado have surged 16%. And finally, if you combine sales of the Silverado and Sierra into one bucket, GM still has a comfortable lead over Ram overall. If there's a takeaway here, it's that trucks of all shapes and sizes have been, currently are and will surely remain hot in America, and automakers will continue to invest money into making sure they are able to satiate consumer demand.
