2007 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Silver Bose Navigation Low Miles Great Cond! on 2040-cars
Canyon Country, California, United States
This 2007 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is in fantastic condition! First things first; this car is on Autotrader for $34,995. The reserve on it is $32,995 because that's what I owe on it. So I obviously will not take a dime under the reserve so serious bidders only please. Second thing you should know, the black stuff over both the logos can easily be picked off and the original logos are underneath in perfect condition, I promise. I just left them that way incase you liked it better, as I do. Good part is that the black stuff doesn't come off unless you physically try to take it off. Ok, so now, I bought this vehicle literally less than four months ago. Unfortunately I need to downsize and my loss is your gain. The best part is that I got it from Galpin Ford. Galpin is the #1 Ford dealership in the world and their pre-owned cars have to pass a 174 point inspection in order to sell. They spend a ton of money in reconditioning. As you can tell by the pictures, the car is extremely clean inside and out and mechanically perfect as well due to the dealership. First the bad stuff; the car is indeed 7 years old so it does have a couple of minor scratches here and there but nothing that can't be fixed at an inexpensive price. Now the good stuff: Galpin put THREE new tires on it and the fourth has tons of tread as well. I'm actually the third owner of this car but have only driven it 5,000 miles so it should really only be 2 lol I have babied this car since I've gotten it and the previous 2 owners didn't even really drive it. It's got navigation, a Bose stereo system and every other goodie you probably want. The top is in perfect condition. I love music so I got USB and auxiliary inputs installed as well and they work perfectly as you can see in the pictures. It also comes with the very rare light interior leather, which is something I had to have, because in Southern California, you burn on black leather. Speaking of which, another thing I did is put tint on it, but don't worry, it's not the limo kind you get pulled over for, I made sure of that. If there's anything I'm missing, feel free to email me and I'll respond usually within 24 hours. Do NOT let someone one else get this vehicle before you do because its very rare, it's got super low miles and you're gonna love driving it just like I did! Email me and let me know when is a good time for a test drive or just buy the damn thing cause you won't regret it. Check out my history and bid with confidence. GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING!!!!!!!!! |

Recharge Wrap-up: Lexus CT 200h is NWAPA's favorite hybrid, 'No Charge to Charge' in LA
Thu, Jul 24 2014The Northwest Automotive Press Association (NWAPA) has given the Lexus CT 200h its Favorite Hybrid title. It named the compact luxury hybrid its favorite of 2014 at its Drive Revolution in Portland (where it also named the new Volkswagen Golf TDI the Northwest Green Car of the Year). According to NWAPA president Nik Miles, the CT 200h earned the honor for "impressive combination of state-of-the-art small car luxury and hybrid technology." For 2014, the Lexus CT200h got an updated front end, including the spindle grille we've been seeing on new Lexus vehicles, plus a redesigned steering wheel and sliding sun visors. Read more in the press release below. Chevrolet credits the Malibu for helping make stop-start mainstream. Chevrolet started including stop-start technology standard in Malibus equipped with the four-cylinder engine. Chevy has sold about 83,000 of that model, so 97 percent of 2014 and 2015 Malibu sales include stop-start. Now, that technology has made its way into the 2015 Impala. With drivers idling an average of 16 minutes a day, stop-start can significantly reduce harmful emissions and save fuel. According to Navigant Research, we can expect annual sales of cars equipped with stop-start technology to surpass 55 million by 2022. Read more in the press release below. Nissan Leaf customers in Los Angeles will get access to free charging beginning August 15. Nissan is extending its "No Charge to Charge" promotion to LA, which will allow customers to charge at public charging stations at no cost. Leaf customers - including those who bought or leased their car from the participating dealerships on or after July 1 - will get an EZ-Charge card, allowing them to use ChargePoint, Blink, CarCharging, AeroVironment and NRG eVgo chargers for free. Rapid chargers can charge the Leaf's battery to 80 percent in 30 minutes. Nissan plans to offer the "No Charge to Charge" in at least 14 more markets in the US, bringing the total to 25, within the next year. See the press release below for more details. California will get six all-electric school buses for three school districts as part of a demonstration program. The California Energy Commission awarded a grant of $1.4 million for the program to National Strategies LLC; this is in addition to a $2.2-million grant from the South Coast Air Quality Management District. The EV buses use vehicle-to-grid technology, allowing them to sell energy back to the grid when it is needed.
GM's MPG overstatement could affect 2 million vehicles
Tue, May 17 2016Late last week, GM admitted that three of its large SUVs fuel economy window stickers did not match their actual efficiency ratings, and so the vehicles couldn't be sold. The stickers on the 2016 Chevy Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Buick Enclave said their ratings were one to two miles per gallon better than they should have been. Officially, the number of affected vehicles sits at about 60,000. But Consumer Reports makes a good point: what's up with all of the previous model year SUVs that are basically the same vehicle? To wit: the 2016 model year vehicles are not substantially different than the 2015 or the 2014, or even going all the way back to 2007. On the EPA's fuel economy website, all of these older models will "have better stated fuel economy numbers than the new vehicles in GM's dealerships," Consumer Reports noted. CR's best point, and the one that makes the 60,000 number potentially grow to 2 million if all of the vehicles built on this platform are affected, is that "[i]t seems unlikely that the company would change the powertrain on these carryover models so late in their model cycles in a way that would cause a dramatic, negative impact on fuel economy." GM says that earlier model year SUVs are not affected and the EPA did not respond to CR's question about the potential for more discrepancies. We've seen automakers reverse course before, so if GM has to come out with a mea culpa soon, don't be surprised. GM is rushing corrected stickers to dealers so that the SUVs can be sold again, but a fix for the already-sold vehicles could be trickier to solve.
