2003 Chevy Corvette
This car spent the majority of it's life at the Bob Bondurant school of high performance driving in arizona. The 2nd owner took possesion of the car in feb.2010. The car had 41300 miles on it at that time. Car has a full roll cage, four point harnesses, fire suppression system, Borla exhaust and correct race studs on the wheels. All of these changes were made at the school in arizona. It is track,or street ready. Car is fully documented from every fluid change to each alignment. Car drives straight with no pulling and no vibration. I replaced the rear tires 2 weeks ago. Front tires look new, but they were already on the car. A/C works but only through the center vents. Side vents were removed for the roll cage placement. All the factory equipment on the car works. I purchased the car at an auction (with out the wife knowing, and she is not happy with me) and have driven the car for about 300 miles. Couple things that may need attention in the future, rear end sounds like it has lash or the gears may need to be reset. Bose radio sounds awesome but the cd player will not play cds. There is a small exhaust leak. Other than that it is ready to enjoy and have fun with. Targa top was in the back of the car when the photos were taken. It rest nicely on the roll bars and does not move around while driving. Questions please text or call 270-535-0908 Jim.
EBAY Removed my listing and made me relist the car with a salvage title. The car does not have a salvage title. When Bondurant registered the car when it was new they branded the car salvage to avoid taxes and fees. Auto check, Car fax will show original title was branded salvage when the car was 1st registered with 17 miles on it. I also have a copy of the arizona title showing Bondurant as the owner with 17 miles on the title. I also have a copy of the 2nd owners title which is a clean Tennessee title and I have a clean and clear kentucky title ready to be transfered to the next owner.
NO TRADES please do not ask.

Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]
Sun, 03 Feb 2013The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22. You can head over to the Auctions America site for more information. You can also check out the trailer for The Hunter below.
General Motors Recalls Nearly 780,000 Cars To Fix Deadly Problem
Thu, Feb 13 2014General Motors is recalling nearly 780,000 compact cars in North America because the engines can shut down unexpectedly and cause crashes. The company says six people have been killed in crashes related to the problem. The recall affects Chevrolet Cobalts and Pontiac G5s from the 2005 through 2007 model years. U.S. safety regulators say the weight of the key ring and rough roads can move the ignition switch out of the run position, cutting the engine and electricity. If that happens, air bags may not work. GM says there have been 22 crashes from the problem. All happened at high speeds. Dealers will replace the ignition switch for free. GM says owners should remove nonessential items from key rings until the problem is fixed. Evatran, Bosch will sell wireless home charger for as low as $1,998*
Mon, Jan 6 2014At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas today, the big news for plug in vehicles is that they can now start to ditch the plug. As expected, the system costs around $3,000 and is available for both the Nissan Leaf and the Chevrolet Volt. For the first 250 customers, though, Evatran is offering $1,000 off the standard price, a 30 percent discount. Deliveries start next month and Evatran says it expects the discounted units to all be snatched up in the first half of the year. The wireless charger charges as quickly as conventional corded systems. Called the Plugless Wireless EV charger, the 240-volt station will be installed by Bosch and needs a specific adapter to be used with the Volt or the Leaf (the Leaf version costs $100 more). So, any two-EV families out there will need to pony up double if there's a Chevy and a Nissan in the garage. Of course, since the Plugless system only works with older Leafs (2010-2012 model years - but with any Volt), any late adopters will not be able to take advantage of the new technology, for now. Evatran says the wireless charger "charges the Volt and Leaf as quickly as conventional corded systems and all vehicle features, such as charge-timers and phone applications, can be used seamlessly with the Plugless system." After the first 250 units, standard prices for the wireless chargers take effect again: $2,998 (Volt) and $3,098 (Leaf). Evatran says it will announce wireless chargers for additional vehicles and model years later this year. Evatran and Bosch offer Promotional Pricing as low as $1,998 to first 250 PLUGLESS™ Wireless EV Charging Customers LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Evatran Group, Inc. ("Evatran"), in partnership with Bosch Automotive Service Solutions, announced today at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show that it is offering reduced promotional pricing to the first 250 customers who opt to Go PLUGLESS with their electric vehicle ("EV") experience. The PLUGLESS system offers a convenient, wireless charging alternative to the repetitive process of unplugging and plugging-in electric vehicles. The reduced pricing includes all charging hardware and is as much as a 30% discount off the system's standard MSRP. The discount is available only to the first 250 customers. Initial shipments of the PLUGLESS system, the first wireless EV charging product in the world available to individual EV drivers, will begin in February 2014.
