The car is a weekend/nice weather only car that has never once been driven in rain!

VIN:  1G1YY12S625107472

The 5.7L Pushrod V8 405HP LS6 is one of the most reliable and powerful motors Chevy has ever produced. Car is excellent condition, meticulously maintained by a long time corvette owner/fanatic, and will please the pickiest buyers. Not a single ding. ZERO wheel rash.

Always garaged and covered.   Hard-wired for a V1 (Valentine One) radar detector.

Standard Features include: Bose Premium sound, heads up display (speedo, RPMS, fuel gauge, etc), dual climate control, leather seats with Z06 logo (driver's seat is power and has two memory settings - one for each key fob).

Stock performance numbers from Chevy: 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and a 12.4 second 1/4 mile.

A few tasteful bolt-on performance enhancements from only the best vendors in the industry have been professionally installed (I have all receipts) to enhance the already outstanding performance as follows:
  • LG Motorsports Long Tube Headers
  • LG Motorsports Catted X-pipe
  • Borla Stinger Exhaust (the car sounds amazing w/the exhaust/header combo!)
  • Halltech Stinger Intake System
  • professional dyno tune which puts the car at 372.8 RWHP/364.2 Torque.   That's roughly 30+ RWHP and 20+ lb-ft Torque over stock!!!
Cosmetic add-ons as follows:
  • $1600 in custom cut clear bra installed @ Invisibra in Dallas, TX.
  • The custom clear bra wraps all edges unlike like the cheap pre-cut kits most places do.
  • Clear bra covers the entire front bumper, both mirrors, first 24" of hood and fender tips, rear splash areas, and the full length of both side skirts/rockers and also wraps inside to also protect the base of the inside kick plates.  There are no rock chips at all on the front end of the car as a result of the excellent clear bra protection, just one small white indentation by the logo where the clear bra saved the paint from a rock chip.
  • Llumar ATR tint
  • hard-wired for a V1 (Valentine One) radar detector.
  • C5 Fangs (SacCity Vette) - frame savers for radiator support bars under front bumper
  • Black Polyester knit stretch Hood/Front bumper bra
  • C5 travel buddy dual cup holders
Car is only hand washed using the proper two bucket method and dried with microfiber towels. Engine bay is extra clean!

Car has never been tracked or driven on a road course, is in fantastic condition, and drives perfect! I am only selling to fund another project.

No accidents, no paintwork, no disappointments! Must see!

OEM Z06 car cover included, original window sticker, all documentation, two sets of keys and all owner's manuals.

Fresh Mobil One oil change in April 2013.

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat vs. Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in latest Head 2 Head

Fri, Jan 30 2015

"Olympian" is one of the terms we use to signify the greatest height, the seat of the gods. Yet Mt. Olympus is the second-highest peak in the Balkans ranges, overshadowed by the crest at Musala in Bulgaria's Rila mountains. Both great heights, but one is a little higher. That's how we get the Olympian Chevy Camaro ZL1 pitched at the Musalic Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat in Motor Trend's latest episode of Head 2 Head. The side-by-side spec sheet is filled with farcical numbers. For the ZL1, that's a 6.2-liter V8 with 580 horsepower, 556 pound-feet of torque, a 4,051-pound curb weight, 0-to-60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds, a quarter-mile time of 12.2 seconds and a base price of just $57,800. Opposing that, the Hellcat wrings out its 6.2-liter V8 for 707 hp, 650 lb-ft of torque, weighs 4,449 pounds, does the quarter in 11.7 seconds and has a base price of just $60,990. Except in the case of the Hellcat, when Motor Trend put it on the dyno the machine spit out a reading of 672 hp and 606 lb-ft at the wheels. If there's a 10-percent driveline loss through those beefed-up internals and heavy-duty eight-speed transmission, that means the Hellcat is actually rated at about 750 horsepower and 700 lb-ft. But once they get put on a closed-off strip of coast road in Northern California, there are only a few strands of hair between their respective performances. That's not the case for they sensations provide; host Jonny Lieberman calls one of them, "One of the most incredible cars ever made," and says, "It changes everything." Watch the video above to see who got the verdict and how. Related Video:

General Motors Recall List

Wed, Oct 22 2014

It seems General Motors can't go more than a few weeks without issuing a major recall. Since the initial ignition lock recall on February 10, over 25 million vehicles have been recalled for defects. It seems General Motors can't go more than a few weeks without issuing a major recall. Since the initial ignition lock recall on February 10, over 25 million vehicles have been recalled for defects. We used the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recall list to compile a snapshot of all the GM vehicles recalled in the last two months. NHTSA also provides a search engine that allows owners to search for recalls on their vehicle. An automotive company must do everything in their power to notify its customers when a recall is issued on a vehicle. If you own any of the following vehicles and you have questions regarding your car, you can contact Chevrolet at 1-866-694-6546, GMC at 1-866-996-9463, Buick at 1-800-521-7300 and Cadillac at 1-866-982-2339. Or check out General Motor's recall site. Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or go to www.safercar.gov. Here's a brief summery of the other vehicles currently under recall: July 26 – 414,333 cars affected NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V447000 Models under recall: Certain model year 2011-2012 Buick LaCrosse, Regal and Chevrolet Camaro, as well as certain 2010-2012 Cadillac SRX, Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain vehicles, equipped with power height adjustable driver and passenger seats. Problem: In the affected vehicles, the bolt that secures the driver's and passenger's power front seat height adjuster may fall out causing the seat to drop suddenly to the lowest vertical position. Consequence: If the driver's seat unexpectedly drops, the distraction and altered seat position may affect the drivers' control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. Solution: Dealers will replace the height adjuster shoulder bolts, free of charge. July 14 – 16,939 cars affected NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V341000 Models under recall: Certain model year 2011 Cadillac CTS vehicles manufactured October 18, 2010, to June 2, 2011. Problem: In the affected vehicles, vibrations from the drive shaft may cause the vehicle's roll over sensor to command the roof rail air bags to deploy. Consequence: If the roof rail air bags deploy unexpectedly, there is an increased risk of crash and injury to the occupants.

This is how GM is hiding new Chevy Volt in public

Wed, Oct 1 2014

General Motors is letting the public know that, well, it's not about to let the public know anything else about the next-generation Chevrolet Volt. But the automaker is willing to talk about its camouflaging process for upcoming versions of the extended-range plug-in. So it's a half-hearted secret, at best. GM actually has a "camouflage engineer" charged with creating ways to disguise the styling of new vehicles. In the Volt's case, the company is applying black and white swirly color patterns on top of the materials, such as plastics, vinyl and foam, that are used liberally across the body. It's all part of a teaser campaign that started last month with pictures of part the 2016 Volt. Earlier this month, GM said it was keeping track of Volt drivers' habits as it works on the next-gen model. The company noted that more than four out of five trips are being made in all-electric driving mode, and that 60 percent of Volt owners use a plain-old 100-volt outlet to recharge their cars. The car is slated to make its global debut at Detroit's North American International Auto Show next January, and the early word is that performance and all-electric range will be improved (we should hope so). The car will also be sleeker. By how much, we can't tell yet, because of those darn swirly patterns. GM's got more non-details in its press release below. Engineers charged with hiding styling while vehicle testing proceeds in public DETROIT – The styling of the next-generation Chevrolet Volt is one of the automotive world's best-kept secrets. Keeping customers and media eager to see the successor to the groundbreaking original at bay until the new Volt debuts at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January is tricky business. First, it is engineers, not designers, who are charged with creating camouflage that balances styling secrecy with the need to validate the Volt and its systems in public. "If it were up to me it would be a shoebox driving down the road," said Lionel Perkins, GM camouflage engineer. "The design team wants us to cover more of the vehicle and the engineering team needs to have enough of the vehicle's weight and aero exposed so that the tests in the development process are consistent with the product that will come to market." The engineers responsible for the "cool" designs covering the car might deserve style points but their efforts are intended strictly to hide the metal beneath.
