This is a great running and looking Vette. I have owned it for 10 yrs and drove it almost daily. At 110,000 miles a went through the car with new clutch and transmission, also changed plugs and wires. shocks. Installed Z06 brakes with slotted and drilled rotors with ceramic pads. installed 2000 wheels. The oil and filter have been changed every 5,000 miles with Mobil 1 and filter. installed K & N filter which boosts the HP up to about 385. It also has a 12 disc CD stacker and both tops. 1 torch red and the other is the glass tinted roof. The tires have about 1200 miles almost new Kumoho. It also has a great sounding route 66 exhaust system. Many small extras like SS tank cover between exhaust, carpet for dash etc, etc. Everything works on this car including the TPMS. I have not driven it much in the last year after buying Z06 so have finally decided to sell my baby.

Chevrolet Captiva looks mildly refreshed and ready for family duty
Tue, 05 Mar 2013We showed you Chevrolet's major debut yesterday, the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible, but General Motors is making a big push for Bowtie consideration in Europe, so it's also introducing the updated Captiva crossover here at the Geneva Motor Show.
While still based on the same platform as North America's fleet-only Captiva Sport (which is effectively a rebadged Saturn Vue), the Captiva is available in both five- and seven-seat iterations, and it looks far more modern. That's particularly the case with this updated model, which features revamped front- and rear ends that include restyled bumpers, grilles and LED taillamps, among other changes.
As before, the midsize Theta-platform CUV will be available in both front- and all-wheel drive, and is expected to carry a range of four- and six-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines. Important US programming note: Chevrolet sources tell us that America's Captiva Sport will not receive these updates.
Stolen '57 Chevy Returned To Owner After 30 Years
Fri, Feb 21 2014Three decades after it was stolen, a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air has been returned to a Northern California man - in better shape than when he originally owned it. The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports Ian "Skip" Wilson was shocked to get a call from the California Highway Patrol informing him that his long-lost Chevy was taken off an Australia-bound cargo ship. The 65-year-old says the car has had a lot of work done on it since it disappeared from his Lake County home in 1984. It was returned with a monogrammed interior, 17-inch racing wheels, rack-and-pinion steering and a 350-horsepower V-8 engine. The retired mechanic says the two-door was in sorry shape when he bought it for $375 in 1975 with plans for fixing it up. Veyron and C7 Corvette join cast of Transformers 4
Wed, 29 May 2013Like the Fast & Furious franchise, the Michael Bay-directed series of Transformers movies has become known as much for its bad acting as its impressive lineup of cars. As filming just started for Transformers 4, Bay's website has confirmed two new cars for the next installment as well as a makeover for everyone's favorite tractor trailer hero, Optimus Prime.
Joining the cast of T4 are a "race-inspired" Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. While Bay's website did not supply names for either car, Bugatti is reporting on its Facebook page that the Veyron will join the Autobots. Speaking of the good guys, top Autobot Optimus Prime is getting an all-new body based on a Western Star with a gaudy appearance that was seemingly inspired by Trick My Truck - right down to the six smoke stacks and side pipes!
