Priced very fairly for anyone who has been searching for one with a Red interior. *Just took the window film off 1 week ago, so that is why some of the pics do not show it with. 1996 Corvette Collector Edition w/ rare Red interior - 1/399 built . Last and best of the C4 generation - All of the Collector Edition models had the Silver paint, 5 spoke wheels, Sport seats, Bose CD, and Climate control a/c. They were available with either Black, Gray or Red interiors, and the Red was the most limited of the 3 colors. It has 47000 well preserved miles, is in all original condition and has 2 extra options - the G92 performance axle and glass roof panel. NO ACCIDENTS, NO PAINTWORK. These Collector cars are becoming more rare to find. In years to come they will appreciate in value, especially when they look like this. Can be used for shows & cruise nights very easily. The original Silver metallic paint is damage free. The moldings, handles, window glass, glass top, lettering, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in exceptional condition. The wheels have no abuse and the tires have excellent tread. Never run through an automatic car wash and always hand washed / waxed. I have all of the books, literature, and dealer service manuals that go with her too. The exterior is a strong 9.75 / 10. On the inside, the Red interior still looks, feels, and maintains that newer appeal. As you can see in the pics, the seats have always been covered w/ no wear and the floor mats have mats over the mats. The door panels, carpeting, dash, center console, faceplates, etc. have no wear. All of the interior buttons / switches ( power windows, door locks, cruise, antenna, and 6 way power sport seats work without issue ). The Bose stereo system still plays perfect. The undercarriage is dry, spotless, and rust free too. Inside, it is a 9.75+ / 10. Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drives smoothly as a fine tuned should. All of the servicing is up to date - a/c, belts, hoses, fluids all changed / maintained at the proper intervals, The engine compartment / undercarriage are extra clean / dry, and it performs without hesitation. Of course, the LT1 - 300 hp engine has great pick-up, and it shifts like a new car. With the G92 perf. axle, you get a faster gear ratio when you pull off of the line. The brakes have plenty of pad left, and all of the other mechanical functions perform without issue.

GM to restore legendary Corvette damaged in sinkhole accident
Fri, Dec 5 2014Car lover's hearts' sank when they saw images of bent and destroyed classic Corvettes at the bottom of a sinkhole last February after the floor of the National Corvette Museum gave way. General Motors announced Wednesday it would restore the one millionth Corvette ever produced to its former glory. The 1992 convertible was heavily damaged when a 40-foot deep sinkhole opened beneath a bevy of rare cars at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Since then, GM has been slowly restoring the classic cars, though five of the eight that caught in the sinkhole were determined to be too damaged to repair. This November, the 2009 Corvette ZR1 Blue Devil was the first car to be returned in mint condition to the Museum, according to Autoblog. It suffered significant damage but was still drivable after being pulled out of the debris. The one millionth Corvette is still in bad shape. The automaker is estimating six months worth of work to restore the car, which sustained paint scratches, rear-suspension damage and a mangled front fender.
