Up for sale is my 1984 corvette.  Interior of car has been replaced and looks perfect.  Exterior paint is base coat/ clear coat and is very shiny with no dents, dings, or rock chips on front end of car.  Has 74301 original miles and was owned by one family before me.  Car was stored for long period of time and was garaged according to previous owner.  Has never seen rain since I have owned.  If you want a vette that performs and looks almost flawless this is it.  Dash has been rebuilt and everything works except cruise control. Has removable glass top with factory rachet and owners manual.  Very good sounding kenwood stereo with cd player.  I have spent 5,000.00  plus on parts for this car, I will list below.Car runs very cool for a corvette.  For additional info call 304-575-2901 anytime.  Please no lowball offers they are a waste of time.  Transmission completely rebuilt, Air conditioning service including new evaporator core blows very cold, New fuel pump, starter, slotted and cross drilled rotors, calipers, brake pads, antenna repair kit, heater motor relay, fuel pump relay, rebuilt headlight motors, tach filter, battery, blower motor resistors, high speed blower relay, hot water control valve, cooling fan relay, new falken radials with approximately 300 miles, new emblems front and back, complete weatherstripping kit including glass top, new front spoiler, valve core covers with corvette emblem.  For the interior there are new seats, full carpet set, door panels with carpet strip, sunvisors, dash kit to remove breadloaf on dash, info face plate, console door, console face plate, instrument face plate, instrument cluster rebuilt, shift selector cover and pointer, new stock steering wheel, passenger window motor, and more I am ssure I have forgotten.  As a corvette fan would know these parts are very expensive and no expense has been spared on interior.  Thanks for looking at my vette.  Just wanted to add after looking at other ads that this car is ready to go, I have spent a lot of time and money to make it right.  It is very sound mechanically, no defects that I know of on car.

2014 Chevy Silverado High Country spied wearing trappings of new luxury trim

Wed, 03 Apr 2013

Spy photographers have spotted the new Chevrolet Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali out on public streets for a little testing. From the looks of things, the Silverado will receive a much-differentiated front fascia along with special badges and those honking 20-inch chrome wheels. Expect to find a more posh interior as well. Likewise, the Sierra Denali will wear a tweaked nose with the familiar Denali bling. The one of the GMC trucks spotted here rolls on 21-inch gunmetal wheels instead of the 20-inch chrome pieces of the High Country.
Word has it both trucks will go on sale after the Texas State Fair this summer. While General Motors hasn't said for certain what we can expect to find under the hood, we'd be surprised to see anything outside of the range of engines found in the standard Silverado and Sierra models. That means buyers should be able to get their hands on the efficient, 23-miles per gallon 5.3-liter V8.

MotorWeek looks back at 1995 Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon

Sat, Jun 20 2015

MotorWeek's Retro Review series gives us a nostalgic look back at some of the best sports cars and luxury sedans available in the 1980s and '90s. For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. You can check out the brief press release below for more information, or head over to the Callaway site to plunk down a deposit - but before you do, we want to know... do you find this C7 wagon interesting?
