1979 Chevy Corvette Factory High Performance L-82 Model that still has its original factory number matching Engine! This L82 I believe has every option available that year The car has been in storage for a while but I had a new battery put in and she started right up and the engine sounds real nice!! The exterior looks good for a 34 year car the paint is shiny (as you can see in the pictures) not a show car has flaws chips etc. The interior also looks nice for its age, no rips in the seats or door panels but again its not perfect. The frame is solid!! The car is 34 years old and hasn't been used it years so you should go over the car before putting it back on the road that being said the car is being sold AS-IS! The car is forsale locally so dont wait to bid i can end this action early. If you want to come see the car I will be happy to show it to you!

GM recalling over 243,000 crossovers over possible seat belt defect

The summer of 2010's recall hit parade continues unabated today, with General Motors having just announced that it is asking 243,403 owners of its 2009-2010 Lambda crossovers to bring their three-row haulers in for inspection. The culprit? Second-row seat belts in select Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook CUVs have "failed to perform properly in a crash."
According to GM, a second-row seat-side trim piece is to blame, as it can impede the upward rotation of the buckle after the seat is folded flat. As a result, if the buckle makes contact with the seat frame, cosmetic damage can occur, potentially requiring additional force to operate the buckle properly. So far, no great shakes, but in the process of applying that additional force, the occupant may push the buckle cover down to the strap, potentially revealing and depressing the red release button. As a result of this, the belt may not latch, or in certain cases, it may actually appear to be latched when, in fact, it isn't.
