No, she is not perfect, but has been a fantastic car for the last 17 years. I am the 3rd owner and I purchased her on June 21, 1996 and she has been garaged ever since. The car is Frost Blue with dark blue interior. When I bought her she had 118,050 miles on her. Now I have right at 140,390 on her. The tires are just a year old with less than 500 miles on them. The front suspension was completely rebuilt as well as the entire brake system just a few years ago. There is a newer exhaust system as well. Heat and air don't work, but it's a Corvette! I always drove with the tops off. Cruise stopped working a couple of months ago when the transducer was replaced. The driver's seat has a rip in the lower potion side seam and both door panels have small tears in them. Tilt/telescopic steering wheel, AM/FM stereo cassette, power windows. Any questions, just ask. First 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 Sells For One Million Dollars
Mon, Apr 14 2014NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick loves buying first-built Chevrolet models for charity. He paid $1 million to buy the first production 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible and $650,000 to get the first 2014 Chevy Camaro Z/28. Hendrick's latest purchase happened at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Palm Beach where he got into a bidding war to pay $1 million to get the first 2015 Corvette Z06. The bidding came quick with the car reaching $100,000 within 3 seconds and hitting $500,000 in about 35 seconds. The money from the sale was donated to the Karmanos Cancer Institute. Stolen '57 Chevy Returned To Owner After 30 Years
Fri, Feb 21 2014Three decades after it was stolen, a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air has been returned to a Northern California man - in better shape than when he originally owned it. The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports Ian "Skip" Wilson was shocked to get a call from the California Highway Patrol informing him that his long-lost Chevy was taken off an Australia-bound cargo ship. The 65-year-old says the car has had a lot of work done on it since it disappeared from his Lake County home in 1984. It was returned with a monogrammed interior, 17-inch racing wheels, rack-and-pinion steering and a 350-horsepower V-8 engine. The retired mechanic says the two-door was in sorry shape when he bought it for $375 in 1975 with plans for fixing it up.
