Trim Code 422 Dark Saddle Leather- Which includes Custom GM Ordered Interior trim, Wood grain accents and lower carpet trim on door panels , wood grain also on the console.

Paint code 953 Metallic Yellow, I believe there was one repaint on the car prior to my ownership- Excellent color for a Corvette of this year.

Engine Block Suffix CWM13S434444- Last 7 Digits match Vin number on the car.

What was Done to the car under my ownership is the following:

New 225 70 15 Generals -tires installed.
One valve cover Gasket - Passenger side
New updated factory low beam and high beam head lights
Tune up- consisting of spark plugs- points and condensor, and air filter.
New Starter.

This Car runs and drives Excellent, it has always been garaged and has been taking care of in terms of my ownership.
Brake Calipers, pads, rotors, and caliper lines have been done.

The Wipers on the car work just fine also. so do the headlights.

This Corvette offers the perfect class for a real restoration.  Every part is there , and there is no searching for parts on the car in terms of providing a complete restoration!

The interior of the Corvette is in Original Condition as you will see in the pictures, the dash does have little cracks and the door panels are weathered and the seats will eventually have to be redone.

The Gm original T-top bags are still there also as a plus.  One bag does have a hole in it.  The T-tops themselves are in good and shape and function like the should.

The Glass in the car is also in good shape and both power windows work.

The car also offer a Laugauge rack for travel. Factory alarm also- that I don't have the key for.

The gauges on the car work also.  The speedo has a quiet tick to it because i think  the odometer might be disconnected -it does not work also the clock does not work.

The radio in the car is updated -(looks original) and you can add a cd changer if desired.

The heat and blower control does work in the console-the ac is all intact and retrofitted.

The big block 454 runs fine, good oil pressure and does not over heat.  The vette shifts excellent and the clutch has a good grab to it.

This car is a totally different animal vs. a small block Corvette.  When you drive a Big block car-you will not want a small block anymore!!
The Power and Torque that a 454 offers is significant over thhe 350 small block motor!

Turn Key- and I kept it up to road standards- shifts great. Enjoy!
Please understand that this car is not a restored car it is original. it is a good condition driver not a show piece.

GM offering factory-backed extended warranty for Chevys, GMCs, Buicks and Cadillacs

Mon, Oct 15 2018

Cars are generally more reliable than ever before. When things do go wrong, every automaker offers some form of factory warranty (in most cases at least three years and 36,000 miles, though many extend even longer), providing peace of mind to new-car buyers that many faults will be fixed at no charge to the customer. Starting today, GM is offering a new optional plan that will extend the factory warranty on all new Chevy, GMC, Buick and Cadillac products. In the past, extended warranties have been offered as dealer add-ons, with all profits from these sales going to the dealership. GM's new program can be viewed as another nail in the the looming dealership-model coffin. According to Automotive News, some dealers aren't happy to see GM cut into their business like this, saying that it helps GM far more than it does dealers. GM says the new program will help keep customers in the GM family. Customers are also more likely to visit a GM service center rather than going to an independent repair shop. Currently, new Chevy and GMC vehicles come with three-year/36,000-mile warranties. Buicks and Cadillacs are covered for 4 years or 50,000 miles. The new program extends Chevy and GMC warranties to five years or 60,000 miles. Buick and Cadillac warranties extend to six years or 70,000 miles. GM, citing IHS Markit, says most owners keep new cars for about 6.8 years, so these warranties will cover most of the length of their ownership. The extended warranty will add between $1,000 and $2,000 to the price of a vehicle, and the additional cost can be rolled into the vehicle's purchase or lease price. Unlike many dealer extensions, the factory program covers the vehicle no matter who owns it. That should help increase the car's resale value if it's sold within the covered timeframe. GM says there's no deductible and no need to file a claim form when getting warranty repairs. Additionally, dealerships can continue to sell their own extended warranties or service contracts. Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.

Just the right Camaro can change your life

Thu, Jan 22 2015

Not many people can say that their car directly motivated them into a career, but that's exactly the case for Adam Martin and his 1968 Chevrolet Camaro that he calls Lucy. Martin bought the pony car in primer when he was just 16, and it helped foster his profession in restoring classic cars. Beyond just being a very cool ride for a teenager, every change to Lucy was an opportunity to hone a new automotive skill for Martin. Whether figuring out how to paint a car or building the 454-cubic-inch (7.4-liter) big block V8, the Camaro offered a platform for experimentation. This latest episode of Petrolicious gets personal about the bond between man and machine for this 18-year ongoing project. And even if the story doesn't immediately grab you, Lucy has a great voice and can do a mean burnout.
