Up for auction with a low reserve is my 1969 C3 Corvette Stingray Coupe
350 cubic inch small block (Casting number: 3970010)
350 horsepower
380 lbs. of torque
11:1 compression ratio
4 speed manual transmission
Original body color is fathom green with black interior.
NO power steering, NO power brakes, NO power windows, NO tilt/telescopic steering column and NO air conditioning.
Not original motor. Motor is from 1973.
I bought the car back in September 2011 with the intention of finishing the restoration that the previous owner started. The car has been parked in a heated garage all this time and lately I have become very busy with work that I don't see myself getting the car finished anytime within the next 3-5 years and I hate to leave it sit there until then when it is so close to being finished.
What has been done to date:
Completely restored/reconditioned rolling chassis.
Frame fully inspected, sand blasted, and painted with multiple coats of black epoxy enamel paint.
BRAND NEW gas tank, ALL NEW suspension components, new sway bars, new rims, tires, 4 wheel disc brakes, calipers, master cylinder and stainless steel brake lines. New radiator, heater core, new fuel lines and radiator hoses.
The engine was professionally rebuilt in 2003 in Rockland County, NY with all new bearings, mains, valves, new cam, new high flow oil pump, new rear seal, flywheel was turned, new pistons and rings, new lifters, new harmonic balance from Summit, new timing chain and rebuilt cylinder heads from the early 1970's. I do not have documentation to prove this. This is what was told to me by the previous owner when I bought the car.
This is NOT a NCRS numbers matching car! Great project with a lot of potential and when it is complete it will have a value of between 25-30K depending on any additional upgrades you choose to install.
The transmission was rebuilt with ALL NEW GEARS. New clutch assembly as well.
The rear axle has been rebuilt and has the posi traction additive added to it. Ratio is 3.36:1
Brand new exhaust system from the ram horn headers to the mufflers.
The original Rochester Q-Jet 4 barrel carburetor has been professionally rebuilt and looks BRAND NEW. New air cleaner assembly.
Car comes with the original intake manifold. Currently has an Edelbrock performance intake installed on the block.
New fan blade, pulleys and belts. New alternator and fuel pump.
New windshield, new seat cushions and covers, new door panels, new center console and cushion, new carpeting, new insulation, new and/or rebuilt gauges.
New aftermarket Corvette stereo. New dash board components, new front and rear chromed bumpers.
New pair of T-tops, new wiring harnesses, and new vacuum lines and MANY more parts...BOXES OF STUFF...too many to list but you get the idea. The goal was to completely restore this car to make a fun good looking driver out of it and I would say that I have approximately 95-98% of what is needed to finish the job. Everything else that would be needed is small.
The body has been stripped of all its paint and some fiberglass work has already been done. Not for the faint of heart! There are some cracks in the body/fiberglass that needs repairing and/or replacing especially at the nose. The bird cage is intact but will need to be sandblasted and reconditioned around the windshield.
A lot of hard work, time and love has been put into this car and will become a real beauty when it is complete. I have LOTS of pictures I can e-mail you. Please don't hesitate to ask me questions.
Thanks for looking.

Just to clarify any confusion. There is approximately $20,000 worth of new and professionally rebuilt parts which comes with this car. This value is in addition to what has already been invested in the frame, engine, and transmission. The hard part of this restoration has already been done for you.

MotorWeek looks back at 1995 Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon
Sat, Jun 20 2015MotorWeek's Retro Review series gives us a nostalgic look back at some of the best sports cars and luxury sedans available in the 1980s and '90s. For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.

Chevrolet Camaro in Korea - Click above for high-resolution image
There once was a time when Daewoo was one of the biggest companies in South Korea. It was larger than both LG and Samsung, and second only to Hyundai. But these days the name is all but gone.
