Just Toys Classic Cars is proud to present this beautiful and well built 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible.  This is just one fun car to drive and a strong portion of the proceeds is going to Finally Home that builds homes for disabled vets in the state of Florida.  The paint looks great, the interior is comfortable and clean, and there isn't a single rip in the top.

Has this been Americas most popular car in history, maybe not, but once you get in and drive this you will see why we say that they are one of the most fun cars to drive out there.

This car was re done just a little over eight years ago and it shows awesome.  This car has only had 5227 mile put on it over those last eight years.  This car was always adult driven so it was not pounded on or abused.  As you will see in the photos, the engine bay is clean, as well as the trunk up front is clean.  All of the bright work looks great for a car of this age and will get compliments where ever you go.

Once you look under the rear bonnet you will see a beautiful six cylinder engine with 4 one barrel carbs.  This 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza has a great purr to it when you fire it up.  The lever action tranny shifts into gears as it should and the emergency brake is tight and solid.  Once in the front trunk area you will see that the brakes have been upgraded to a double master cylinder for better braking.  The original one comes with the car as well.

Everything is just clean on this car.  There is not any rust.  The paint looks good.  The bright work and trim look good.  The top is in awesome shape and the rear window as you will see in the pics isn't yellowed or cracked.  You need to come on down today and take a look at this car and you will be very impressed.  We look forward to speaking with you soon and making this 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible the next thing in your garage.  We have financing available for those that would like to take advantage of that option.  Great rates are available so take advantage today.

Next Corvette ZR1 to get 700 horsepower?

Tue, 19 Feb 2013

Word has it General Motors may offer as much as 700 horsepower in the C7 Corvette ZR1. Motor Trend reports the next Corvette Z06 will continue to rely on its naturally aspirated 7.0-liter V8 engine for thrust, but the lump will deliver substantially more power. How much more? MT says the engine could deliver up to 600 ponies. That's a jump of 95 horsepower over the current Z06, though no figures have been finalized as of yet. Right now, GM is reportedly waiting to see what sort of grunt it can glean from the next ZR1.
The automaker has already made it clear it will resurrect the LT5 name for the new supercharged V8, and if GM is already pulling 600 from the Z06, the big dog ZR1 would theoretically offer 700 horsepower. Either way, the range-topping Corvette will be suitably insulated from its less potent siblings. Stay tuned. We aren't likely to see the Z06 for at least a year, with the ZR1 trailing along at some point there after.

GM already raising prices on 2014 Silverado and Sierra pickups

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

General Motors must be pretty pleased with sales of its two newest pickups, the GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado, as it's announced price hikes for both models, as part of a planned price tweak.
Prices will be bumped by as much as $1,500, although weirdly, they'll be offset by as much as $1,500 in cash-back offers through the end of October. Fox Business reports that GM spokesman Jim Cain said of the price hike, "With the sell down of the '13 models nearly complete, this price adjustment was planned and is a normal part of business."
The move, as Fox is quick to point out, is an interesting one, as sales of the twin pickups struggled last month relative to the Ford F-Series, while both of GM's crosstown competitors have been aggressively undercutting Silverado and Sierra prices. The F-150 starts at $24,070 and the Ram 1500 comes in at $23,600, not counting any cash on the hood. A base Silverado, meanwhile, retails at $25,575.

Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards

Fri, 22 Feb 2013

The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.
