1963 Chevy Corvair Monza convertible with factory air conditioning. Red on red all original. Everything is there, original engine, trans, body is straight and clean. I replaced the battery and started it up but like most old cars can use a tune up/work. The top is power top and works, this car had all the good options that were available for the time. Top needs replacing, 300 for a new top here on eBay. The interior is all original, am radio works. Interior could use good clean up, this is a excellent car to restore because it is all in tact. You won't find many with the options this one has. I have it for sale here locally so if it sells here I will cancel this auction. It's in Moreno Valley CA if you wish to pick it up otherwise transportation is up to you. Also, I have the vehicle transfer and reassignment form when sold, the tags are over due and when I went to the dmv it was 550 of fees. I told the clerk i was going to sell the vehicle but didn't want to pay fees then and there so she said sale will be ok with this form. Sorry for inconvience but if I paid the fees i'd have to ask for more $ and i put a real low reserve because of the inconvience. I also have a 1963 impala for sale and which ever of the two vehicles sells first goes the other one will stay. I will not sell both. I'm moving and only 1 of the cars is coming with me. My loss is your big gain. Look in my other auctions for info on other 63. All sales final. Good luck!!!

Reuss says GM diesel plans are still on pace
Fri, Oct 16 2015General Motors is not going to let Volkswagen's diesel emissions scandal ruin its plans for a new line of efficient, torquey oil-burners, the company's Executive Vice President Mark Reuss said at a recent press event. "No way," Reuss responded when asked about cancelling the upcoming diesel-powered Chevrolet Cruze and other vehicles. "The Cruze Diesel is too good not to do it." Slated for 2017, the compact is just the latest member of a diesel offensive that initially kicked off with the first Cruze Diesel and most recently saw the introduction of the oil-burning Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon. Reuss also reassured those in attendance that there was "no delay" in development of Cadillac's diesel lineup. Cadillac is working on a line of four- and six-cylinder turbodiesels for Europe. They'd make their way into the US market, too, eventually. "It's a question of timing," Reuss said, according to Car and Driver. Volkswagen's diesel emissions scandal has caused automakers across the globe to at least reanalyze their diesel strategy. Jaguar Land Rover, which is preparing several diesel-powered models for the US market, went on record late last month to reaffirm its commitment to diesel.
