*****1962 Chevrolet Corvair Greenbrier Van*********** on 2040-cars
Sanger, California, United States
Up for bid is my 1962 Greenbrier. She runs excellent turns rite up! It is a clean title registered in my name till May of 2015. It comes with rare 4 speed option. All gauges work.Lights, wipers, signal lights even horn..but horn button is attached on side of steering column the heater works excellent but i did accidentally break the control knob on it but it is still functional just haven't had time to install new one.All doors and windows open and close smoothly.Drives and shifts smooth.Runs great in town and on freeway you can driver her across state but if plan on doing so just going to need some new tires soon. It does have some light rust on bottom of drivers side door as pictured and on lower corner of right side fender it has a hairline crack on it doesn't seem to have gone through seems like just needs to be sanded and primered but not sure i am in no way a paint and body expert.Does have some minor dents and paint chips through out but nothing major. It is in overall very good condition for its age no major rust at all anywhere it is very solid California van. Front seat is like in new condition no rips or tears does not come with any rear seats.Bid if with confidence as i got 100% feedback!! Van is sold as is with no refunds i am trying to describe my van as best i can if you have any additional question or would like more pictures please feel free to ask before bidding. Thanks for Looking!!

GM won't sell 2014 Chevrolet SS in Canada
Thu, 21 Feb 2013Allow us to be the first to extend our condolences to our friends to the north. General Motors has announced the 2014 Chevrolet SS will not be available in Canada. The Globe and Mail reports the automaker has confirmed the high-performance sedan won't hit Canadian dealers, though GM hasn't offered up any reasoning as to why that is.
Buyers here in the US of A, meanwhile, can look forward to getting their hands on the 415-horspower, rear-wheel drive SS by late summer. Something tells us it won't be long after that before Canadian officials start seeing individually imported 6.2-liter V8 four-doors in their neighborhoods. Fortunately, Canadian buyers will still be able to take home the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The C7 bowed at the Canadian International Auto Show last week, reportedly drawing sizable crowds and interest.
These cars are headed to the Great Crusher In The Sky
Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).
Check out our gallery of discontinued cars above, then scroll down for more information.
Mother's Day Suggestion No. 2,506
Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Scroll down for the video, but know that the action really gets going at around the 1:40 mark.
