2007 Chevrolet Colorado Wt Standard Cab Pickup 2-door 2.9l 4x4 on 2040-cars
North Tonawanda, New York, United States
This 2007 Chevy Colorado WT 4X4 drove nicely until it stopped running, we believe the motor jumped time but haven't taken it apart to find out for sure. The 4X4 works, clutch is good, tires are new (just purchased from Firestone and have receipt). The air conditioning works, the brakes and suspension are good, it has a spray in bedliner and a nice tool box. The interior is fair, the body is decent but does have some minor bumps and bruises. For someone that wants to rebuild or replace the motor the mileage really doesn't matter. It's a good truck and I enjoyed driving it around but unfortunately my mechanic is backed up with too much work and we are not able to give this truck the time and attention it needs. I bought it for $1710 from Adesa Pittsburgh back in March, then spent almost another $900 on new Tires, Spray In Bedliner and the Tool Box (I have receipts). I'm willing to sell it at wholesale (what we as dealers pay at the auction plus what I've spent on it) so the "Buy Now" is $2610. This was a 1 owner, business owned Fleet Vehicle. I purchased a new trailer hitch but didn't have a chance to install it so it is available for sale separately. Any questions just call me at 716-352-0896. ****PLEASE NOTE: This truck is only for sale to NON NYS Residents, if you live in New York State I CANNOT sell it to you. The reason is that as a NYS licensed dealer there are regulations that require any vehicle sold to a NYS resident to pass Emissions Inspection prior to sale, since the truck is not running there's no way to complete an emissions test. I can however sell the truck to anyone with an address outside of New York State. PLEASE NOTE: SW Engines (http://www.swengines.com/) has an engine for this truck with 30,000 miles on it for $1395, they provide a warranty and free shipping.
FYI: This truck is located in North Tonawanda, NY (14120) it does not run and will have to be towed. Towing/Shipping to be arranged by Buyer. If you have 0 or negative feedback please call me at 716-352-0896 before bidding or your bid will be removed. |

It won't be long now before Nissan Leaf finally overtakes Chevy Volt
Thu, Dec 25 2014The two best-selling plug-in vehicles ever are the Chevy Volt and the Nissan Leaf. When the two vehicles launched in late 2010, the plug-in hybrid Volt quickly outpaced the all-electric Leaf and, despite lots of ups and downs since then, continues to hold on to a cumulative sales lead. This will change in 2015. Cumulatively, from November 2010 through November 2014, the Volt sold 71,867 units while the Leaf trails with 69,220. That's a difference of just 2,647. Based on current trends (with the Leaf selling around 2,500-2,700 a month and the Volt at 1,500-1,700) we expect the Leaf to take over either in January or, more likely, February when the Leaf takes over as the most popular plug-in car in America. Perhaps even March, depending on how low the numbers are for January and February, which are always slow sales months in the US. Of course, once it takes the crown, the Leaf can't expect to easily hold on for long. A new Volt is coming in the second half of 2015, likely beating a new Leaf to market. The question is, then, how well the Chevy sells with all of its new bells and whistles. Do you think the Volt will be the comeback kid once the 2016 model becomes available? Recharge Wrap-up: Tesla P85D upgrades coming soon, lease a Chevy Volt for $149 a month
Wed, Dec 31 2014CarCharging has raised $6 million from shareholders and has restructured to save cash. The EV charging company plans to expand further in 2015 - with an eye toward achieving profitability - in part by investing in technology and "unlocking the value of our significant equipment inventory," says CarCharging CEO Michael D. Farkas. The group expects to reduce administrative costs by 40 percent, and has hired an interim Chief Financial Officer to help carry out its plans for growth. CarCharging raised the cash through offering convertible preferred stock to its shareholders, whom Farkas thanked "for their passion and patience." Read more in the press release below. Rydell Chevrolet in Los Angeles is offering Chevrolet Volt leases for $149 per month. In a video ad, Rydell offers the Volt for $169 a month with $3,390 due at signing, but another ad shows the offer at $149 a month with $3,550 down or $248 per month with $0 down. Rydell Chevrolet will ship the car anywhere in the lower 48 states. It also appears they offer cupcakes. See Rydell's video below, or read more at Inside EVs. Tesla will upgrade the Model S P85D with higher performance and top speed. The free update, which is due "in the next few months" according to a statement from Tesla, will raise the electronically limited top speed from 130 to 155 miles per hour. "Additionally, an over-the-air firmware upgrade to the power electronics will improve P85D performance at high speed above what anyone outside Tesla has experienced to date," Tesla says. The update will be available for the lifetime of the car, which includes subsequent owners. Read more at Green Car Reports. Best car infotainment systems: From UConnect to MBUX, these are our favorites
Sun, Jan 7 2024Declaring one infotainment system the best over any other is an inherently subjective matter. You can look at quantitative testing for things like input response time and various screen load times, but ask a room full of people that have tried all car infotainment systems what their favorite is, and you’re likely to get a lot of different responses. For the most part, the various infotainment systems available all share a similar purpose. They aim to help the driver get where they're going with navigation, play their favorite tunes via all sorts of media playback options and allow folks to stay connected with others via phone connectivity. Of course, most go way beyond the basics these days and offer features like streaming services, in-car performance data and much more. Unique features are aplenty when you start diving through menus, but how they go about their most important tasks vary widely. Some of our editors prefer systems that are exclusively touch-based and chock full of boundary-pushing features. Others may prefer a back-to-basics non-touch system that is navigable via a scroll wheel. You can compare it to the phone operating system wars. Just like some prefer Android phones over iPhones, we all have our own opinions for what makes up the best infotainment interface. All that said, our combined experience tells us that a number of infotainment systems are at least better than the rest. WeÂ’ve narrowed it down to five total systems in their own subcategories that stand out to us. Read on below to see our picks, and feel free to make your own arguments in the comments. Best infotainment overall: UConnect 5, various Stellantis products Ram 1500 Uconnect Infotainment System Review If thereÂ’s one infotainment system that all of us agree is excellent, itÂ’s UConnect. It has numerous qualities that make it great, but above all else, UConnect is simple and straightforward to use. Ease of operation is one of the most (if not the single most) vital parts of any infotainment system interface. If youÂ’re expected to be able to tap away on a touchscreen while driving and still pay attention to the road, a complex infotainment system is going to remove your attention from the number one task at hand: driving. UConnect uses a simple interface that puts all of your key functions in a clearly-represented row on the bottom of the screen. Tap any of them, and it instantly pulls up that menu.
