Up for sale is a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado. This truck is a one owner. It has 19k. actual miles. The reason for such low miles is it was a port truck and it never seen road way usage. It has been carefully maintained and has much life left in it. Im going to highlight this truck through three main paragraphs. They are the Exterior,Interior and Lastly the Drivetrain. If I leave something out please contact me with the information listed at the closing statement of this auction. No Reserve!!!
Exterior: This truck was ordered in Summit White. A very attractive color on these Trucks. The paint is in overall great shape. It has a good hard gloss still and has no major damage. I have found a few scrapes and small dings. The only damage to speak of is on the drivers rear bed side quarter and it is pictured. Overall I would rate this truck's exterior at a easy 8.5 on a 1-10 scale.
Interior: This Colorado was ordered with the medium pewter colored vinyl interior. The seats are all overall very clean and sit well. The seats is manual and adjust with ease. The truck is a air condition/radio delete truck. The interior smells great and is smoke free! I am going to rate the interior at a 9 on a 1-10.
Drivetrain: The workhorse 2.8L 4 Cylinder Engine was ordered for this truck. It is mated to a Automatic Transmission. Both perform as they should. The vehicle drives out nice. The match tires have roughly 50% tread on all 4. I would drive this truck to California and not think twice. I will rate the drivetrain at a easy 9 on a 1-10.
In Closing: This truck is overall clean. There is lots of life left in this vehicle. Nada Shows a clean retail of over $8900. My pricing is very fair. Bid to win! As always this vehicle is being sold as is/where is. I also hold the right to end the auction anytime. I have a clean 1 owner title in hand. Contact me with any questions at 423-413-4478 My name is Josh. Thanks for viewing my auction.

Nissan Leaf ends 2013 with best sales month ever, but can't catch Chevy Volt
Fri, Jan 3 2014Nissan and Chevrolet both ended 2013 with solid sales figures for their plug-in vehicles, the first two that were released (all the way back at the end of 2010) from major automakers. As has been the story for most of 2013, December sales for the Nissan Leaf and the Chevy Volt were roughly the same. When we left the year-to-date running tally at the end of November, the Volt was at 20,702, while the Leaf was at 20,080. As you can tell from the image above (if you've been noticing the trend in these EV sales monthly flash-reports), the Leaf outsold the Volt, but was it enough to put the Nissan on top for the year? In 2013, Nissan sold 22,610 Leafs, more than twice as many as in 2012. Almost. The Leaf made a valiant attempt, and did have its best month ever with 2,529 units sold. That means that for 2013, Nissan moved a total of 22,610 Leafs, more than twice as many as in 2012 (that year, Nissan sold only 9,819 Leafs in the US) and actually more than 2012 and 2011 Leaf sales combined (which was 19,493). Nissan continues to see the effects of its price drop and expanded sales areas, with Georgia rapidly becoming a Leaf hotbed. Nissan's Paige Presley said that Atlanta was once again the Leaf's number one market and that, "sales are expanding deeper into Georgia markets such as Macon and Columbus." The Volt saw a boost upwards from a November slump and sold 2,392 units in December. That puts the plug-in hybrid's annual total at 23,094, just down from the 23,461 sold in 2012. For all of 2013, though, the Volt outsold the Leaf by 484 vehicles. In a competition like this, we'll count that as a win for both sides. We will our more detailed monthly green car sales report, which covers more of the fuel efficient vehicles on the market, up soon. 2016 Chevy Volt will have more EV range, bigger battery
Tue, Oct 28 2014Meet the new Volt, not the same as the old Volt. That appears to be the story when General Motors introduces the 2016 Chevy Volt at the Detroit Auto Show in January. Today we're getting some more details on the guts of the new plug-in hybrid, and it turns out they're going to be much improved from the current Volt, which first went on sale at the end of 2010. Sure, the first-gen Volt did get some improvements along the way (a slightly larger battery pack, lane departure warnings) but the new Volt – which will go on sale in the second half of 2015 – marks the first time GM has been able to return to the drawing board and really make the improvements that its customers want. That's how Larry Nitz, GM's executive director of vehicle electrification explained it to AutoblogGreen today when explaining the all-new Voltec extended range electric vehicle (EREV) powertrain. "In the Gen 2 is we gave the engine a little more power, a little more torque, a little more displacement, more capability." – Larry Nitz Nitz said that the new Volt will be better in almost every sense: a bigger battery, longer EV-only range, 20 percent better acceleration in the low speed range and higher overall efficiency. This is due, in part, to the Volt's two motors being able to both act as generators and power the car. As we noted this morning, the 2016 Volt will use a larger, 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, a version of which is already used in the Chinese-market Cruze. Nitz said that this has a number of benefits, including more power and quieter operation. "Some people would say, why did you make [the first-gen engine] so big. I would say, why did you make it so small?" he said. "It works good, our customers love it, but the reality is that if you go a little bit off and use the car a little harder, you can get the engine to need to operate at a higher speed. In an EV, that's quite noticeable. So, what we did in the Gen 2 is we gave the engine a little more power, a little more torque, a little more displacement, more capability and what it has marginally enabled is not only is it more efficient but it's also quieter." Nitz wouldn't talk about how the new powertrain might affect the two other products that use the Volt's underpinnings – the Cadillac ELR and the Opel Ampera – but if you've got a quieter option, we assume that's something ELR drivers would enjoy. But that's a story for another day.
