up for sale is a 08 cobalt ss currently does not run due to either a blown head gasket or a rod. the car does include a mint racing seat interior no rips or tears with all pieces stock boost gauge stock 10 inch sub along with built in xm radio with aux input and built in CD changer, blue tooth and on star.recently replaces the stock turbo with a brand new stock turbo from zzp performance. has a stage 2 snow performance methanol injection kit/ boost controller with green led light above boost gauge. also has a mpx upgraded front mount with metal end tanks instead of plastic like the stock one. has brembo brakes shakes a little when braking due to what i believe is a warped rotor. the exterior of the car could use some paint small scratches and dings normal wear and tear. car has alot to offer once repaired car could be worth 10k+. car was bought from a dealer on 4/02/2013. buyer must have the vehicle towed. also included will be 2 spare turbos one is blown the other has cracked exhaust housing may be rebuild able a apexi turbo timer never installed and a stock e brake cable (they are known for being junk) e brake does work. car is sold AS IS NOT RUNNING

GM might outsource vans to AM General

General Motors will possibly boost production of the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon at the Wentzville Assembly Plant in Missouri by contracting out some commercial van manufacturing to AM General. Demand for the two midsize trucks continues to boom, and GM would like to take advantage of the strong market for them. The possible deal came to light in a letter to workers at the factory, according to Automotive News. "This potential partnership would free up production capacity and allow the organization to capitalize on our ability to build midsize trucks to further satisfy customer demand," a portion of the document allegedly said. AM General would reportedly only take over assembly of the cutaway versions of the Chevy Express and GMC Savana. Customers and critics have quickly embraced the latest Colorado and Canyon since their introduction. The Chevy just won back-to-back Motor Trend Truck of the Year awards. GM also had to add a third shift and extra workers in 2014 just to keep up with demand. The Wentzville plant even increased employment on the weekends earlier in 2015 to assemble an extra 2,000 of the trucks each month. While the two pickups boom, deliveries for the Chevy Express and GMC Savana are down 26.9 percent and 26.6 percent respectively through the first 10 months of the year. GM doesn't break out numbers for the cutaway versions, but they make up about a third of production, according to Automotive News. AM General built the Humvee for the US military and does some contract work with automakers. For example, the company's Indiana factory now produces the Mercedes-Benz R-Class for export to China. Here's hoping this potential deal will help both GM and AM General keep their factories humming. Related Video:

2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year finalists revealed

The finalists for the 2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year were announced Tuesday at AutoMobility LA ahead of the 2016 LA Auto Show. Approximately 60 judges, including Autoblog's editor-in-chief Mike Austin, evaluated over 40 vehicles and named three models as the finalists in each category. The award for the Utility Vehicle of the Year is new for 2017 and separates SUVs, crossovers, and minivans from pickup trucks. The finalists are: Car of the Year: Chevrolet Bolt Genesis G90 Volvo S90 Truck of the Year: Ford F-Series Super Duty Honda Ridgeline Nissan Titan Utility Vehicle of the Year Chrysler Pacifica Jaguar F-Pace Mazda CX-9 The winners for the 24th annual NACTOY awards will be named on January 9 at the Detroit Auto Show.
