pass fender is new NOS

NOS door skins installed

Original Factory Hood and trunk lid

Floors and trunk are exceptionally clean. There are a couple small patches in trunk and 2 small spots cut out in floor that will need patches put in DOES NOT NEED FLOOR OR TRUNK REPLACEMENT NOT EVEN CLOSE VERY SOLID

Atlanta built car with very nice build sheet.(SEE PIC OF BUILD SHEET FOR SPECIFICS ON CAR) you guys know the Atlanta cars had the build sheets glued to back of drivers door panel that's why they stay so nice. this one is still stuck to door panel. panel was cut to size of build sheet to make it easier to store.

Heres the story on the car. A friend of mine bought car in 1992 I hauled the car for him. New sheetmetal was already installed. he had the car dipped and e-coated and that's as far as he went with it. I bought it from him years later. I sold car after realizing I didn't have the funds to bring the car to its full potential. I then stumbled on car again for sale and being better off financially I bought it back. In the time it was away from me the e-coat primer developed surface rust so it should be blasted back to bare metal.

Its a forrest green green bucket seat interior. No Stripes. no console car. Seats need to be recovered. have all glass, regulators etc. instrument cluster and plastic dash is nice not broken. Gauges there.

Frame is solid surface rust only.

Drivers fender is an original GM fender with rust out in heel. Easy fix. With a car of this caliber I would rather fix this one than use an aftermarket one.

Original 4 core 4 Speed radiator with ID tag still on it. If I remember right code is PB.

This is a pretty complete car. Interior trim is therein boxes, window crank handles, door lock mechanisms,Car was all together when my buudy bought it back in the day. He took it apart I organized it all and bagged and tagged it.

Buyer will need to arrange shipping. Car rolls and tires hold air. easy pick up for shipper.

see my other add for the Other LS6 I have for sale. Make me an offer on both of them!!!!

On Feb-04-14 at 11:47:24 PST, seller added the following information:

I have loaded more pics of car. There is now a pic of trim tag that backs up whats on build sheet. pic of radiatior with "PA" tag on it. Original AM radio in box in trunk. Even some of the original exhaust hangers are in box in trunk.

All 4 original spiral shocks are in box in trunk.

Picture of NUMBERS MATCHING M22 4 speed. 621 bellhousing is there.

Other than motor this is a very complete car.

There are pictures of floors. one pic shows the 2 spots that are cut out to be patched. They are located in front of rear seat towards trans tunnel. Look closely at floor. Clean as can be no pitting.

I cant stress enough how rust free this car is. Yes there is some surface rust from it sitting but there is NO structural rust anywhere.

Picture of firewall show it in unmolested condition. There are no holes drilled in it other than what the factory punched.

Of the 2 LS6 cars I have for sale this one is in much better shape than the other one and the sale price will reflect that.

GM recalls Colorado, Canyon, and Malibu for airbag problem

Wed, Mar 9 2016

The Basics: General Motors will recall and issue a stop sale on 1,740 total examples of the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado, Malibu, and GMC Canyon. This includes 1,579 units in the US and 161 in Canada. The Problem: The second stage of the driver front airbag inflator might not be present. If this happens, the airbag won't fill as quickly as it should in a high-speed crash, which could increase the risk of injury, according to Reuters. This is not related in any way to Takata's inflator problems, and these parts come from a different supplier. Injuries/Deaths: None reported. The Fix: GM will replace the vehicles' airbag assemblies. If You Own One: GM spokesperson Tom Wilkinson told Autoblog he wasn't specifically sure when recall repairs would begin but said it would be "shortly." He expects the fixes to happen "quickly" because of the small number of affected vehicles, and many of them are either in transport or already in dealer stock. More Information: GM recalled the 2015 Canyon and Colorado in 2014 for a completely separate airbag issue. In that case, a manufacturing error improperly wired the connectors. Related Video: GM Statement GM is recalling 1,579 MY 2016 Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Malibu vehicles in the United States and 161 in Canada to replace driver-side front airbags. The second stage of the airbag may not deploy properly in certain high-speed crashes. During a routine quality inspection, it was determined that a component required for a second-stage/high-output deployment was not loaded during the inflator build. Dealers will replace the driver-side front airbag assembly. There have been no reports of crashes or injuries related to this issue. This issue is unrelated to the ongoing Takata recalls.

2016 Lamborghini Huracan at the Horse Thief Mile | AutoblogVR

Tue, Sep 13 2016

AutoblogVR returns to the Horse Thief Mile in the Mojave Desert to put the Lamborghini Huracan to the test. It's everything we want a modern supercar to be: Powerful, striking in appearance, and a riot to drive. But does it live up to Lamborghini's unique performance heritage? Senior Editor Greg Migliore reviews the Huracan on Horse Thief's unyielding curves and elevation changes to find out. Meanwhile, Autoblog Editor-in-Chief Mike Austin reviews a different kind of performance car – the Chevy SS at the IndyCar circuit on Detroit's Belle Isle. He's ably assisted by ace driver Simon Pagenaud. You must watch his hot lap! The SS is old-school V8 American muscle wrapped in Australian design and engineering. This AutoblogVR segment also launches on the app Sept. 13, and the teaser follows the Huracan preview above. Each week, new episodes will launch on the AutoblogVR App. We'll preview them here on Autoblog, but for the full immersive experience, head over to the app, which you can download for free from the App store and Google Play. Be sure to try it with a cardboard viewer, too!

2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 [w/videos]

Wed, Jan 7 2015

I think I was supposed to be back hours ago. Driving northwest on State Road 190 with a final destination deep in the heart of the Death Valley National Park, it occurs to me that I might have agreed to return after an hour or so, instead of the four I'll end up stealing, solo, in the new Z06. Somewhere in the combination of mountain vistas, arching, speed-hungry desert roads, and the sound of this titanic engine on a constant run up the rev ladder, I forgot everything I'd promised back at home base. The generous, civilized part of me worries for a moment that absconding with the new-best Corvette might have left one of my fellow journalists without a car. But the selfish part of me – the part largely in control of the rocket-launcher of a throttle under my right foot – says "screw it." I spent two days with the 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06, a monster of a sports car that will soon be dominating track days everywhere, and I never once was inclined to share it. Hurtling through the shattered stillness of the desert and pulling big Gs at Spring Mountain circuit, I never felt overly disposed to give up my seat. This Corvette, more than any I've yet driven, was deep enough to hold my attention; for two days, for two years, probably. With this Z06, the Corvette steps over the amazing-for-the-price category, and solidly into the best-cars-in-the-world zone. There are peripheral elements that remind me of its blue collar, Bowtie heritage, sure, but there's more that simply begs me to carry on driving... faster. Most casual car observers will be able to pick the 2015 Z06 out from its less aggressive Stingray brothers. Subtler hints include a new, more open grille, larger extractor on the taller hood and rather discreet badges on the flanks of the car. More outrageous is the finned spoiler on the rear trunk lid, and the widebody look offered from flared fenders – an extra 1.57 inches (40 millimeters) at their beefiest point. Even driving around performance-car-laden Pahrump, NV – loaded thanks to the very active community at the Spring Mountain racing resort – members of the local populace were turning heads, waving and generally noting the Z06 with approval when I drove through town. In Torch Red over black painted aluminum wheels, staggered at 19-inches in front and 20 at the back, the amped-up Z06 hits a new level of road presence for the C7.
