I have sold hundreds of muscle cars over the years, But this one is at the top of my list as one of my all time favorites to ever pass through my showroom. This car has and aggressive stance and stunning looks!! When you pull up in this one heads turn and compliments rain!!! Up for auction is a 1969 real SS Chevelle that is ready to enjoy. This car is clean throughout out and has been completely restored. It is a very solid rust free North Carolina car. Since its completion it has always been garage kept and driven very little. This SS has its completely rebuilt matching # 396/325h.p engine mated to an automatic transmission and factory 12 bolt rear end. It hits the road as good as any classic car I have ever owned and can be driven anywhere!!! It is also equipped with power steering, factory air conditioning and has been upgraded to power 4 wheel disc brakes. The body on this car is razor straight and all body panels fit and line up great. The bright red paint is breath taking and it has an awsome show room shine and is slicker than glass to say the least. All glass, chrome, stainless etc remains is excellent condition also. The white vinyl top and white SS stripe really makes this car jump out at you in a crowd of cars. The car is riding on new wheels and tires that give it a late model aggressive look that is awesome!! The interior was all replaced new at time of restoration and still remains very crisp and clean! The undercarriage is nicely detailed and very clean through out with NO signs of rust. The trunk is complete with mat spare and jack. Here is what I have found will require some attention... The fuel gauge shows full all the time?? and the a/c doesn't blow very cold maybe needs recharged?? Other than that its good to enjoy!! Chevy shows much-improved 2014 Corvette interior in new video

General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.
Why does the Corvette Stingray have so many vents? Here's why
Sun, 27 Jan 2013Just looking at the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, it's not hard to see that the car's design was created with aerodynamics at the forefront, but Chevrolet designers point out exactly what went into designing the iconic coupe in a pair of recently released videos. The videos show the Corvette going through early design phases, including clay models and wind tunnel tests, as well as talking to the car's chief engineer, Tadge Juechter.
Both videos help explain various aspects of the C7 Corvette, but it's the aero tuning of the car that is most interesting. This includes extra attention paid to the lower air dam and vented hood to help reduce drag and lift, while the rear quarter inlets are for differential and transmission cooling. Juechter said that some of these aero-tuned elements were inspired from GM's involvement in racing.

Sat, 16 Feb 2013Think you've waited long enough for this? If so, then you'll want to savor the high-res photos we've so far been given of the 2014 Chevrolet SS, the first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan from The Bowtie in 17 years.
We all know its our version of the brand new VF-model Holden Commodore, but what's under the hood that earns the appellation "performance?" A 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine producing 415 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. That's 35 hp and lb-ft less than the same engine is expected to produce in the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. Chevrolet says the sedan will get from 0-to-60 miles per hour "in about five seconds."
Shifting comes courtesy of a six-speed automatic with paddles on the steering wheel, while stopping arrive via four-piston Brembo calipers up front, a single sliding piston in back. The forged aluminum wheels are 19-inchers all around, each set supporting right around 50 percent of the sedan's weight, and the aluminum hood and trunk are meant to keep the center of gravity low.
