Here a 1969 chevelle that was from ca, I bought it from e/bay and it was a rip off! every thing was junk from the jerk in upland ca.. YA I did not forget about it.
Now The car has been since redone.This car was a sbc set up but now is a bbc, all the following is new and has been replaced in the last 5 years. all for springs, and complete body bushing kit, all 4 shocks, all 4 ball joints, all the bolts that were not with the motor were replaced with grade 8 bolts nuts, washer. rear end gears were replaced with richmond 4:11 ring and pinion, fuel cell, holly black pump,1/2 inch braided fuel line 3inch flow master exhaust delt flow 44 mufflers, 3000 huges stall, turbo 350 tranny built by tsi in bp , mn the motor was done by pater motor sports with all the goodys, just to list about it speed pro forged dome pistons,gear drive,comp cam,flat tapped -part 11-246-3 781 ovel port heads, demon 750 carb (redone) to get more power 9:7.1 comp, nos set up w/heater,jacket,only used 1 bottle per year, aluminum big one , duel fans, both the front and back dash pads were replaced, 180 high out put alt, custom dash w/ all new auto meters gauges + shift light, bucket seats,line lock, 2et a full msd set up. there is more I just cant think of it . + the car it self has not more then 80k on the body, and the drive line cant have more than 6k on it... the under side is rust free...could use a set of back tires. The car is sold as is . This is car a real head turner and runs out great, pleanty of power and torque.The tail pipes were removed , one ofthe pics shows the car with them on so just to be clear it nolonger has them on This car is not perfect but does run and look good. GM to idle car production at five factories as Americans continue CUV love affair
Mon, Dec 19 2016In case you needed another reminder that Americans have fallen out of love with sedans, General Motors today announced plans to idle five factories in January in a bid to cut its inventory to 70 days. Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly ( Buick LaCrosse, Cadillac CT6, Chevrolet Volt and Impala) and Fairfax Assembly in Kansas ( Chevy Malibu) will stop production for three weeks. Lansing Grand River ( Cadillac ATS and CTS, and Chevy Camaro) is going down for two weeks, while Lordstown, OH ( Chevy Cruze) and Bowling Green, KY ( Chevy Corvette) will go idle for a week each, Automotive News reports. GM's shutdown reflects a broader problem with the company's supply – at 847,000 vehicles, the company's supply increased unsteadily from a low of 629,000 units in January of 2016. That's more than a 25 percent increase in the past year. Citing information from Autodata, The Detroit News reports that at the end of November, GM had a 168-day supply of LaCrosses, 177 days' worth of Camaro, 170 days of Corvette, 121 days for Cruze, 119 days for ATS, 132 days for CTS, and 110 days of CT6. Meanwhile, inventory of the company's more popular vehicles is actually below the professionally accepted 60- to 70-day supply, The News reports. The Trax, Colorado pickup, and GM's full-size SUVs are sitting below 50 days and experiencing year-over-year sales increases. GM needs a rethink of its inventory levels, which is something that's apparently coming. "We're going to be responsible in managing our inventory levels," GM spokesman Jim Cain told The News. Another unnamed spokesman told Automotive News the company's day-to-day supplies would "fluctuate before moderating at year-end." But at least one analyst thinks this won't be the last time Detroit needs to stop production to level things out. "Incentives are elevated, residuals are declining, and rates are rising," Brian Johnson, an analyst with Barclays, told The News. "And while GM in particular may benefit in the months ahead from new product launches, it's important to recognize that GM's inventory is elevated at the moment, and it wouldn't surprise us if they need to announce another production cut – which could pressure the stock." Expect greater differentiation in GM's next-generation SUVs
Thu, 03 Jan 2013General Motors says its next-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models will offer shoppers improved interior differentiation. Car and Driver recently caught up with Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, who said that the cabins will all feature unique instrument panels, consoles, center stacks and switchgear moving forward. Apparently GM is now aware that consumers may be bothered by the fact that today's $85,000 Escalade has effectively the same cabin as a $45,000 Tahoe. Hilts says SUV buyers want more refinement than their pickup purchasing counterparts - and those same buyers also want their SUVs to have more exterior differentiation between the company's Silverado and Sierra pickup lines. Shocking.
That all sounds good to us, but we've heard this song and dance before. GM made big waves about how different the new-for-2013 Silverado and Sierra would look from each other, but judging by what we've seen so far, GM's stylists are painting in shades rather than with the full spectrum.
