Hello a new addition to the family forces me to sell my 1968 chevelle. Car is an original v8 car and a/c car which is currently not hooked up.
INTERIOR, Interior has new Procar front seats, New Carpet, New dash pad, New custom console, New Door Panels, New Armrest, New Window cranks, New headliner currently not installed. Has original back seats which are in driver condition. Interior is all complete and from the pictures you can see is very nice driver quality.
EXTERIOR, Exterior of the car is painted Matte Black and looks good. It gives it that muscle style look without being like every other chevelle out there. The body is really straight for a 45 yr old car and from what I can see the body only has 1 little spot of rust which is lower quarter and that's about nickel size nothing bad at all. All panels seem to be original panels from what I can tell. Floors and trunk are also very solid and original. There isn't any serious rot on this car like mentioned all I can find is the lower quarter. All trim is there along with the badging a real nice driver car with very little could be a show stopper its a great starting point.
MOTOR, Motor is a rebuilt 1967 327 sbc with Edelbrock intake, 600cfm edelbrock carb, Hei distributor, New msd plug wires, new plugs, and Headers. Car has new brakes all around along with all new shocks.
The car starts right up and drives good. I drive this car to and from work and have put 100 miles on the car and haven't had any problems with it.
Any questions please ask as this car is being sold As Is where is. Payment is due in full within 3 days of auction end. Shipping needs to be arranged by buyer but Im available anytime for the shipping company to take the car etc.

Mark Reuss: GM can't afford product 'misses,' has 'thought about' CT6 V-Series
Thu, Apr 9 2015Mark Reuss is a busy man. He oversees General Motors' global product portfolio, an all-encompassing task for a company that sold more than 9.9 million cars and trucks last year. When GM launches a well-received product, like the road-going rocket ship that is the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 – he gets credit. When the company stumbles with the slow-selling Chevy Malibu or grapples with fallout from the decade-old Saturn Ion and its flawed ignition switch, he gets blamed. GM owners, the press and sometimes the federal government, demand answers. Bob Lutz famously held the job before Reuss. So did Mary Barra, who's now GM's chief executive. There's a New GM, but the lineage is connected to a long history. When he's not thinking product, Reuss, an executive vice president, also runs the purchasing and supply chain for the company, which is still one of the largest industrial empires in the world. We caught up with Reuss on the floor of the New York Auto Show, where GM had just rolled out two crucial new products: the 2016 Cadillac CT6 and the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. Speaking with a small group of reporters, Reuss delved into a variety of subjects, including the new Malibu, Cadillac's future (he thinks the ATS-V is going to "flame the M3 and M4"), and other topics. On fixing the Malibu: "We can't miss. We can't have those kinds of misses [like the previous generation] on our cars and crossovers and trucks. We can't do that. If we do that, we give a reason for someone to go buy something else. It's that simple. "On a car like the Malibu we have a chance to really fix all of that, which we have, and then lead. Then you've got a real opportunity there. So that's what we've really been focused on here – to fix those things." He later added: "We need that car here to transform Chevrolet desperately because it's the heart of the market. And when you think of Chevrolet, people will come back and think about what we did with the [new] Malibu and the Cruze... It's hugely important to us." On Cadillac: "If we go out and try and out-German the Germans, it's probably not going to work. We've got an opportunity here generationally where there's a lot of people younger than me that have parents that drove BMWs and Mercedes, and I think there's an opportunity there for those people to drive something different than what their parents did, and I think that's always been an opportunity in the auto industry if you look at the history of it.

GM laying off 500 workers to slow Chevy Sonic production
Sat, Oct 24 2015Due to slow sales of the Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano, General Motors is cutting a shift at the Orion Township plant that builds the pair. The move lays off about 500 workers, but most of them are expected to get offers to transfer to other factories, Automotive News reports. The move came just a day after GM announced adding 1,200 employees to the Detroit-Hamtramck plant. GM has been trying all year at the Orion Township factory to align production of the Sonic and Verano with their demand. The automaker first attempted idling the plant several times and eventually resorted to laying off about 100 workers. It also reduced the production rate there. With the huge rise in popularity of crossovers, demand for the plant's small cars is on the downturn. According to Automotive News, there's currently a 116-day supply of Sonics and 100 days of Veranos to sell. Delivers tell a similar tale because the Chevy is off 35.2 percent from January to September, and the Buick does little better with a 27.2 percent drop from the same period last year. While the situation at Orion Township might look rough now, big things are on the horizon. Soon, the new Chevy Bolt electric vehicle will be built there when it hits the market around 2017. Plus, the plant will also get a $245-million upgrade and 300 new jobs for another, unannounced vehicle.
