1967 Chevelle Malibu Convertible on 2040-cars
Bayside, New York, United States
Ok here we have a 1967 Chevelle Malibu Convertible. It is most likely one of the cleanest ones you will find out there. It wasn't beat up or put away wet. It was well taken care of over the years. It has been repainted like 10 years ago. It still looks good and shines nice. It has a factory ordered 327 motor. It was also ordered with a 3 speed on the column as well as the lower SS rocker trim. I bought the car from the 2 owner who had the car for over 25 years. The body is solid. Looks to have all its original body panels. The floors are rust free. The trunk panel looks like it did from the factory. The interior is beautiful. The carpet is nice shape. The dash is perfect. Everything on the car works!!! All the lights work. All the switches inside work. The original am radio still works. The only thing not working is the clock. The gas gauge and all dummy lights work. All the glass is in good shape with no cracks, fading or chips. There are NO major flaws anywhere on this car. The suspension is perfect. The brakes all work and are in good shape. The rims and tires are 16" american racing torque thrust. The tires are practically brand new with very little miles. It has a stainless exhaust that sounds beautiful. Not too loud and not too soft. It's just right!! The top is perfect on this car. The top frame is mint. It looks like it just left the factory. The top goes up and down perfect. The back window zipper is broke but who uses that anyway. Every chance you get the top is down. All the trim on the car is perfect. All the chrome is perfect. The car runs great and goes nice and straight down the road. You can drive this car across country with no problems. No overheating problems ever. You will not be dissapointed. I am sure I missed something is the description so please call me at (347)-622-3985 anytime. Leave a message and I will get back to you. Please ask questions.... I strongly urge you to come in person to look at the car. If you can't do it yourself send someone or a company to do so. They don't cost a lot and then you will be happy with your purchase. I also met someone at the last local car show that is a buyers agent and does inspections for people that are far away. I can give you his number to set something up. I have this car listed locally so if it sells I have the right to end the auction early. If you want to make an offer try your best shot, maybe we can work out a deal. You will not find another one as nice for the money. I don't want to sell the car but just bought a money pit of a house and need the cash. My family comes first. I will hope to be able to find another one, one day. Right now I need to put a roof over our heads. Once again please call with any questions. (347) 622-3985. |

GM files to trademark name Badlands
Mon, Feb 23 2015If you've been hoping for General Motors to come out swinging at the Ford F-150 Raptor, we've had some tantalizing news for you of late. Last month we brought you a report that indicated GM has trademarked the name "Z71 Trail Boss," suggesting a potential hardcore off-roader. Now it seems the General has filed for a potentially even better name. That name, as our friends over at GM Authority have discovered, is "Badlands." The application, filed on February 16, indicates that it's for a truck, but of course it doesn't specify just what form it would take... or for that matter, under which division it would fall. So we could, in theory, be looking at the nameplate for a Raptor rival from Chevy or GMC (like the 2011 Sierra All Terrain HD concept pictured here), or for some other trim level, a concept truck, a special edition... just about anything. Heck, it could be for a Vauxhall, Opel or Holden for all we know at this point. Or GM could choose not to use it on anything at all, but here's hoping it'll emerge as something awesome in US showrooms sometime soon. Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray
Fri, 25 Oct 2013We tell you about what a car is like to drive every day, remarking on throttle response, steering weight and feedback, squat, dive, brake fade and a dozen or more other factors of performance. What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ. Take a look below for all six videos from the series, or hop over to the Corvette Vimeo channel for the interactive experience, where you can see all the different metrics.
Chevrolet SS previewed by Holden VF Commodore SS V show car
Thu, 14 Feb 2013It won't be long before we see the official, production-ready Chevrolet SS sedan (hint: it will be revealed this weekend). And to tide us over until all of the official details are released about the US-spec version, we have this: the Holden VF Commodore SS V show car, a performance-oriented brother to the Calais V that debuted earlier in the week.
What we really want to know about the SS V is what lies underhood, but General Motors' Australian arm is keeping that under wraps until the Chevy model breaks cover this weekend. Nevertheless, it's obvious that the SS V will be a serious performer, with all sorts of aggressive cues driving that home on the car's exterior. Take a look at those 20-inch billet aluminum wheels that hide big Brembo brake calipers up front, the sculpted hood and front fascia, the wide air intakes with LED running lights and the quad exhaust pipes out back. It's like the Pontiac G8 GXP never even left us.
Inside, there's a sporty-looking interior with aluminum accents that mix in with black leather and suede surfaces, all tied together in the middle with an eight-inch MyLink touchscreen infotainment system. It looks great, and again, while we don't know anything regarding powertrain details, it makes us oh-so happy to see a manual shifter smack dab in the middle of the center console.
