Very straight Kansas barnfind Chevelle 300 Custom. This car has 43,000 actual miles as shown on the title. Has a 283 powerglide that runs, drives, and sounds good! Doesn't smoke. Has power steering and power brakes. The quarter panels and inner panels up to the trunk are in really good shape. The radiator support and inner fender shields are in really good shape. Mice had gotten into the trunk and so the inner structure above the sun visors and the inside of the trunk lid is rotted out from where the mice nested. The floor pans are rotted from sitting in a dirt floor barn. It will need new floor pans but the braces are fine. The trunk floor is repairable. The hood is buckled because the hinges were stiff and someone tried to close it. The body panels on this car are very straight. This car would be great for restoration. And being that it is a post it could make for a great drag car as well. There were only 3,800 of these Chevelle 300's with V8's made in '67. I'm starting the bidding at $5,800 with no reserve. Netflix to feature electric cars from GM and others in programming
Sun, Feb 5 2023LOS ANGELES — Netflix has unveiled a new star for some of its upcoming programming: electric vehicles from General Motors and other automakers. The streaming service announced an agreement on Thursday to feature vehicles including the Chevrolet Bolt, the electric GMC Hummer pickup and the Cadillac Lyriq in TV series and films "where relevant." The companies will highlight the partnership in a commercial featuring Will Ferrell that will air during the Feb. 12 Super Bowl. Netflix and GM called the agreement "part of a commitment to a more sustainable future." Financial terms were not disclosed. Netflix said it will help creators "better understand how EVs can complement and enhance their stories." Shows that will feature GM's electric vehicles include "Love is Blind," "Queer Eye" and "Unstable." Netflix productions also will include electric vehicles made by other automakers, the company said. Chevy Corvette Stingray picks up another award, this time from Automobile
Mon, 18 Nov 2013The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has picked up another buff book accolade after capturing Road and Track's Performance Car of the Year award. The seventh-generation of America's sports car (sorry Viper, Mustang, et al.) has been named Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year.
Automobile's award to the Corvette over competitors is the mirror image of its rival Motor Trend, which named the Cadillac CTS its car of the year over the C7. The CTS was, according to the Automobile team, the closest contender to the mighty Stingray. Great news all around for General Motors it seems.
As for what pushed the Corvette past its distant, four-door cousin, Automobile commended its excellent, 6.2-liter V8 calling the car's performance "simply awesome" while also remarking that it is easier to drive fast than ever before thanks to steering and chassis tweaks. Following a theme set by other publications, there were also plaudits for the interior, of all things, with the buff book complimenting the car's ergonomics and material quality, while also praising the standard seats.
Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 07 Mar 2013We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.
