*Was originally a 327/4 speed car
*Was originally marina blue
*Have original body plaque

There has been a lot of restoration work done to the car. What has been done so far:
*It has brand new floor pans, trunk pan,and rear wheel wells, all Goodmark
*It has new global west upper and lower control arms.
*Has a 4 link rear suspension

*Has had the firewall smoothed
*The entire body was media blasted before the new panels were installed.
*The frame has been painted with Eastwood chassis black
*Rear springs have been installed

There is a little surface rust on the exterior panels of the car

THE ENGINE IS FOR SALE SEPARATE. I do not own the engine; it is my father's.

Info on the engine:
The engine is a high nickel 350 block that was bored .040 over and stroked to 3.75" with 5.7" Rods. This creates a 385 cu. in. It also has 4 bolt mains,
a non-twist forged 4340 crankshaft and H beam rods.
The motor has had the freeze plugs installed and the cam baring installed

Along with the block, I have:
*TH350 automatic transmission
*Torque converter with stall (believe to be 2800 stall)
*Harmonic balencer
*Full gasket set
*Set of long tube headers
*Moroso deep sump oil pan
*Edelbrock Victor Jr. Intake Manifold and hardware
*Chrome timing chain cover
*Holly 750 double pump carb
*Rocker arm girdles and hardware
*Flywheel balanced for engine, brand new
*World Products Sportsman 2 heads- have receipt showing all work done, over $700 in head work alone

Also have several boxes that contain Eastwood body prep and painting products.

Have receipts for other engine and body parts/work.

Asking $6000 OBO for the car. If you would like to purchase the car and the engine, a combo deal can be arranged.
Would also consider trading plus some cash for another car (must be a manual transmission and in running/driving condition)

If you have any questions, you can e-mail me or call me at 940-634-9711.

Thanks

This 93-car Iowa auction is like a Big 3 classic muscle museum

Tue, Aug 27 2019

Bill "Coyote" Johnson has been buying cars since high school and has amassed a collection totaling 113 vehicles, according to NBC 6 News. But time has changed his motivations and priorities, and he's decided to auction 93 of those cars, many of which are classic muscle from Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Plymouth and Pontiac. The megasale will take place Sept. 14, 2019, in Red Oak, Iowa, at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. A 1969 Plymouth Road Runner infected Coyote with a love for Detroit muscle when he was just a teenager, and his desire quickly turned into an obsession. He's spent the past 40 years finding, buying and working on a variety of makes and models. Unlike some collectors, Coyote didn't discriminate against certain brands and has rides from each of the Big 3 automakers. Included in the auction are Camaros, Satellites, Super Bees, Chargers, Challengers, Barracudas, Coronets, GTOs, Mustangs, Cutlasses and others. Possibly the most intriguing aspect of the auction is that all of these cars will be sold as-is with no reserve. Many of them will need work, depending on quality standards, but this seems like a golden opportunity to find a classic car without leaving a bank account in shambles.  The auctions are open for bidding online now, and the full auction will take place on September 14. Check out the full listings and bid at VanDerBrink Auctions.

GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue

Wed, 14 Nov 2012

General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
