1965 Chevrolet Malibu Chevelle on 2040-cars
Tustin, California, United States
1965 Chevy Chevelle Malibu Sports Coupe. VIN# 1353757125857 The vehicle was made at the GM PLANT in
Fremont, Southern California. BODY I believe that this car has
spent its entire life in Southern California, there is no rust on the body ,
the undercarriage of the vehicle is in perfect condition. The body lines on the car are perfect, there
are no major dents on the vehicle, all of the gaps on the doors , hood, trunk,
line up perfectly. The exterior trim is
a 8 out of 10, for factory pieces they have aged beautifully for being a 50yrs
old car. The paint on the Chevelle is
very presentable, minus the few car chips that should be fixed by the delivery
of the vehicle, Id give the paint a high 8 out of 10. INTERIOR-ALL BRAND NEW! GLASS—All of the glass on the vehicle
is in great shape except the rear glass, there are small scratches in the lower
left corner (SEE PHOTO) . I have opted
not to replace the glass , cost would be a additional $400 for part and
install. MOTOR—Crate ZZ4 with Aluminum Heads,
estimated 400 HP! This motor is by far
my favorite. NO LEAKS! From top to bottom this motor is top notch
and next level. Just finished its break in period, runs
absolutely perfect, temp run s a cool 160 degree’s. The mufflers are Flowmaster Super 40 and with
the cam the motor sounds just as good as its runs, must use higher octane gas
91 . WHEELS/TIRES- 18” Showtimes
streeter wheels with Anthracite center. 18X8 fronts and
18x9 rear , the front tires are 235/40r18 and the rears are 25545r18 OVERALL- This is a excellent classic car, The title is
clear and in my name. Any question feel free to call me 562-230-5743 Chris Dimitrijevic |

China's rise, global restructuring wither GM's Korea division
Wed, Jan 7 2015An article in the Daily Kanban suggests the sun is setting on GM Korea, and it could already be well into dusk. GM Korea came about when General Motors, along with co-investors SAIC and Suzuki, bought Daewoo Motors from parent company Daewoo Group in 2001; it had a previous tie-up with GM, a joint venture that ended in 1992, although Daewoo cars were based on GM cars until 1996. Over the decade following the purchase, it became such an important part of operations that it was renamed GM Korea in 2011, "to reflect its heightened status in [the] global operations of GM." Just two years later, the printed rumors were that the subsidiary responsible for a fifth of Chevrolet's global production could be shutting down. The division's sales were down almost 21 percent through November of last year, counting domestic South Korean sales, exports, and CKD – Complete Knock Down – products. That makes the labor strife, already an issue for four years, even more acute, reports say the subsidiary will lose $36 million a year if it can't get the job and wage cuts it wants, and government concessions can't make up for the losses. And it gets worse, so head over to Daily Kanban to read the rest of the story.
No, Cadillac is not killing its flagship CT6 sedan
Sat, Jul 22 2017Mark Twain never actually said that reports of his death had been greatly exaggerated. But if the Cadillac CT6 could talk, those are the exact words it would use. Speaking to Jalopnik, Cadillac chief Johan de Nysschen confirmed, emphatically, "There is absolutely no plan, at all, to cancel the CT6." In fact, says de Nysschen, the CT6 will soon be the beneficiary of significant investment. "The [CT6] forms a very important part of our product strategy going forward for the brand. The car also has a very major contribution to make to the shaping of brand perceptions, and the transformational process that Cadillac is undergoing." For instance, expect the CT6 to spearhead General Motors' most advanced forays into self-driving automobile technology. Interestingly, though, the Cadillac ATS and CTS sedans probably won't live past their current generations as the automaker 're-balances its sedan portfolio.' Replacement models are "in development" right now, says de Nysschen, which will "much more clearly separate the market position, both in terms of target customer demographics, in terms of market segments and in terms of price points between these three sedan lineups." So, that's confirmation that the Cadillac CT6 is going to stick around for a while. But what of other models cited by Reuters to potentially be killed, like the Buick LaCrosse and Chevy Impala and Volt? Read our take on that here, but suffice it to say that we don't think they're in danger, either.
