1991 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Sedan 4-door 5.7l Custom on 2040-cars
Guntersville, Alabama, United States
This is a 1991 Chevrolet Caprice, custom painted, 4 door sedan. This vehicle is in excellent mechanical shape. When this car was customized, the motor was changed. A TBI 350 motor was put in it. This motor has aluminum valve covers with flames etched into the sides. Although the last recorded mileage on the title sates that it had 197,214, it is not an accurate representation of the miles on the motor itself. The motor was recently redone, and the car has been rarely driven. The miles on the odometer do not reflect the condition of the car in any way. The recent alterations to this car make it much better than other cars of its age. It runs and drives great, and it doesn't have any motor on transmission problems. The paintjob on the vehicle has been estimated by a local professional at a cost of $7,000. The motor makes the car sound as good as it looks. The car has a skull theme, and as the pictures show, hologram skulls are in the custom paint on the vehicle. The vehicle also has skulls on the dash, and also on the plastic under the motor. One of the skulls on the dash has a strobe light on it. The motor has been well maintained, and it has had many new parts put on it. The car has a new AC Delco battery. The vehicle has custom chrome rims, and the tires have great tread. This vehicle has a clean Kentucky Title, and it doesn't have any liens or encumbrances on it. This car really is what it says it is. Buyer must pay a down payment of 20% of the purchase price immediately through paypal after purchase. The remaining balance is due within 5 days of purchase of the vehicle. Buyer may be subject to sales tax and title application fees if purchased in Alabama. MotorWeek's 80's GM muscle coupe roundup includes Regal GN and Monte Carlo SS
Thu, Jan 29 2015Even with just four brands in the family, General Motors still represents a performance powerhouse. Between the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Camaro Z/28, Cadillac CTS-V and ATS-V, The General can still deliver plenty of thrills. The 1980s, though, saw the brand go even crazier with performance. While the Camaro and Corvette were still around back in the day, GM had a number of other interesting performance offerings. The Bowtie was complemented by the long-deceased Monte Carlo SS, while the now-defunct Pontiac and Oldsmobile offered the Grand Prix and thumping 442, respectively. And Buick, which isn't short on performance with its Regal GS and Verano Turbo, offered a much more serious vehicle, in the form of the Grand National (not to mention the Darth Vader-spec GNX). MotorWeek, in its hugely entertaining retro flashbacks, looks back on these three long-lost GM performance icons, and it's just as good as you might expect. Do you guys like trucks?
Wed, Jan 17 2018Do you guys like trucks? If the answer is yes, boy do we have the show for you! The 2018 North American International Auto Show is lousy with 'em. Yeah, we saw the new Ram 1500, Chevy Silverado and Ford Ranger, but that's just scratching the surface. There are big trucks, little trucks, clean trucks, dirty trucks, old trucks, new trucks, red trucks, blue trucks. It's like a Dr. Seuss book. Anyway, we made a little video for you truck nuts (see what I did there?). Check it out above, and if you're looking for more serious coverage of the Detroit Auto Show, we've got it, along with a ton of images and other videos from the show floor. Enjoy! GM recalling 135,000 SUVs with plastic jacks that can break
Sat, Jun 19 2021General Motors is recalling 135,400 compact crossovers because their emergency jack can break under load. The problem occurs when the jack — which is plastic — isn't positioned correctly as detailed in the owner's manual. This can cause the jack to fracture. If the jack breaks and the vehicle collapses, there's a risk of injury or death, according to an NHTSA recall alert. The recall involves the 2020-22 Buick Encore GX and 2021-22 Chevrolet Trailblazer. A GM test driver discovered the problem when he broke a jack during a durability test on a Trailblazer. GM started investigating in April and found 21 claims of jack failures, including one reported injury. "This jack design may not be sufficiently robust against fractures if improperly or incorrectly positioned on the vehicle frame by the user," a NHTSA safety report said. GM will start notifying vehicle owners July 26. It will provide free replacement jacks that are made of metal.  Featured Gallery 2021 Buick Encore GX View 21 Photos Recalls Buick Chevrolet GM
