Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania, United States
1991 Chevy Caprice Classic 5.0L only 82,999 original miles NO RESERVE...!!! CLEAR TITLE IN HAND...!!! You are looking at a 1991 Chevy Caprice that runs awesome! We just had this car through PA State Inspection/Emmisions and replaced multiple items to bring it to 100%. The car runs and drives awesome shifting properly without any problems. The car does definitely need a fresh coat of paint! We just replaced the following:
We replaced the following within this past year:
Items that should be replaced but don't effect the performance of the car at all:
As stated several times, the car needs a paint job which a large portion of the prep work has already been completed such as sanding and stripping...!!!
The history of the car is such: My Mother and Stepfather bought this car from their mechanic (Service Station) as a transitional vehicle for us as I was out of work at the time and had little funds available. Her mechanic bought the car from the estate of the original owner as he passed away. Prior to his death, he serviced his car there regularly and it only had 57,000 miles prompting them to buy it as they knew the car so well! In reality, the car really is a 2 owner car being the gentleman that passed away and us although it has been titled 4 times being (original owner, service station, my mother/stepfather, and now us). We put almost 26,000 miles on the car since last October bringing it to its current mileage of 82,999. We are selling the car because we have a Tahoe to fit all 3 kids and now I need a truck for work.
I am running a 3 day NO RESERVE auction which will end Tuesday the 24th and require it to be picked up or paid for in cash by Friday the 27th! I am picking up my new truck Saturday morning the 28th and will be using these proceeds. If you cannot meet these dates, please do us both a favor and do not place a bid! I invite anyone to inspect the car PRIOR to auction end! Please contact me through Ebay to set this up. I am as Honest as they come on Ebay so bid with confidence...!!! My 100% Positive feedback speaks for itself...!!! We require a $150 deposit via paypal immediately upon auction end. The car is to be picked up or paid for within 3 days. Car is being sold as-is/where is. Happy Bidding..!!!

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. You can check out the brief press release below for more information, or head over to the Callaway site to plunk down a deposit - but before you do, we want to know... do you find this C7 wagon interesting? Vote in our poll below, then feel free to leave a few lines in Comments.

Artist imagines eerie world where cars have no wheels
Thu, 24 Jan 2013The wheel ranks right up there with the telescope and four-slice toaster in the pantheon of inventions that have moved humankind forward. But what if a circle in three dimensions had never occurred to anyone, and we all had just moved on without it? Perhaps we'd be driving around in Lucas Motors Landspeeders with anti-gravity engines. Or maybe we'd have the same cars we do today, just without wheels.
That's the thought experiment that seems to have led French photographer Renaud Marion to create his six-image series called Air Drive. The shots depict cars throughout many eras of motoring that look normal except for one thing: they have no wheels. The models used include a Jaguar XK120, Cadillac DeVille (shown above), Chevrolet El Camino and Camaro, and Mercedes-Benz SL and 300 roadsters.
Perhaps one day when our future becomes our past, you'll be able to walk the street and see with your own eyes the rust and patina of age on our nation's fleet of floating cars. Until then, Monsieur Marion's photographs will have to do.
GM 6.2L V8 claims most powerful light-duty truck engine title
Thu, 12 Sep 2013General Motors has officially captured the horsepower crown for mainstream pickup trucks with its 6.2-liter V8. The big mill, available in both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, comes to market with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, handily outdoing its two cross-town competitors, Ram (5.7-liter V8, 395 ponies and 407 lb-ft) and Ford (6.2-liter V8, 411 hp and 434 lb-ft).
The new GM 6.2 will take a bit of an investment, though. Those that want the extra thrust will need to go with either the LTZ or High Country trims from the Chevy, or the SLT and Denali trims from GMC, which are the two highest trim levels for the respective vehicles. Trim levels aside, if you're in the business of towing, GM has you covered. Optioned with the 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package, owners will be able to pull 12,000 pounds, a hugely impressive figure.
We still aren't certain as to what sort of economy the new engine will get, but it'll probably be a bad bet for the fuel conscious. As for availability, expect to see the 6.2-liter trucks in showrooms later in the fall.
