SERIOUS SELLER WANTS SERIOUS BUYER
I am an over the road trucker will be back in town the weekend of the 13th would like to sell it then.
Bought this caprice about 6 years ago and it has been kept most of that time in my garage. It is in pretty good condition for its age. Except what I mention the car is original this means it is a 35ish old car. The trunk is clean no rust. and the floor pans are also rust free.

I put a posi rear with 373 gears in.

It also has a rebuilt turbo 350 with a nice shift kit.

New Headers and dual exhaust.

It has a 305 motor ( at first I was told it was a 350 motor then later on someone else said it is a 305. So I'll list it as a 305 and if it ends up being a 305 that ok. It has a lifter or valve tap.

It has an original am/fm CB radio.

It also has rear air shocks and blocks for the front springs. Was planning on putting new coils in the front but didn't get there.

It has larger wheels and tires that come with it. Not the big 20's. Yes the rear wheels stick a little pass the quarter panel.

Now for the bad news.

Yes it needs a paint job.

Yes the interior is dirty and has rips. Carpet needs replaced.

Yes the vinyl roof has a rip or two.

Yes there is a couple dings and I think just 2 or 3 rust spots.

When the mechanic was under it he said it was the cleanest 30 plus old car ha has seen. Passenger door is pushed in by one of my daughters using there butt to push it closed so I'm told. If I think of anything else I'll add it.
So it was parked in my garage last summer expecting to work on it this year part just don't have time.

Note : I have over $3500.00 in the car.

DEPOSIT OF 100.00 POSTAL MONEY ORDER MUST BE SENT SO I RCEIVE IT IN 3 DAYS. BALANCE BROUGHT WITH YOU WHEN YOU PICK UP THE CAPRICE WITH 7 DAYS AT END OF AUCTION.

Weekly Recap: Tesla loses money, still dominates the news

Sat, Aug 8 2015

Some people get an inordinate amount of attention. In politics, it's Donald Trump. In football, it's Jim Harbaugh. And in the auto world, it's Elon Musk and his always-fascinating electric car company, Tesla Motors. General Motors is spending $877 million to upgrade a factory. So what! US auto sales are up. Who cares? Tesla has a metal snake that will recharge your car! So was the week in Tesla – er, the industry. Snarkiness aside, Tesla did dominate the news cycle, led by the announcement the company lost $184 million in the second quarter. Tesla also said it expects to deliver between 50,000 and 55,000 vehicles this year, and is preparing for a full launch of the Model X crossover in September. Musk also made news during the earnings call by simply not answering a question about ride sharing, leading to speculation Tesla could be considering its own operation. While the financials were the arguably the most important company news, reports of a Model S cyber hacking were more compelling fodder for Tesla followers. Researchers were able to attack the sedan and bring it to a stop, though they required access to the car first. Tesla says it already has deployed a remedy for the situation. On a lighter note, Tesla published a video of its metal charger prototype that autonomously uncoils like a snake to power up the company's vehicles, provoking plenty of humorous comments and comparisons. Watch it and decide for yourself. While some of this might seem trivial, much of Tesla's recent attention has been warranted. It's the first startup US automaker in decades to launch from nothing and actually gain traction in the market. Sure, Musk is a lightning rod and Tesla always seems to be in the spotlight. But amid all of the publicity, it easy to lose sight of the new reality: Tesla is a force. OTHER NEWS & NOTES 2016 Chevy Volt lights up 106 MPGe The Chevy Volt's vitals are looking healthier for 2016. The second-generation plug-in hybrid racks up a gaudy 106 miles per gallon equivalent, which is an increase of eight MPGe from the 2015 model. The new Volt can travel 53 miles on electricity, a significant jump from the 2015 Volt's 38-mile range. The new car also has a 420-mile total range when factoring in the capability of the gasoline engine, which is 40 miles greater than the current car offers.

Corvette Stolen In Detroit Returned To Owner After 33 Years

Wed, Jun 25 2014

A Detroit man had his stolen Corvette returned 33 years after it disappeared while parked on one of Detroit's main drags, according to ABC 7. The last time George Talley saw his 1979 Corvette was on a July day in 1981, when it disappeared from its parking spot on Jefferson Avenue in Detroit. He had given up hope of ever seeing his car again, until a phone call from AAA brought his sporty ride home. Authorities had come across a Corvette with a questionable VIN in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. When they ran the number Talley's stolen car report came up. The car is still in pretty good shape and only has 47,000 miles on the odometer. Talley wasn't sure how he could get the car back home, but General Motors stepped in and agreed to cover the cost of bringing the 'Vette home. Talley has always had a passion for Detroit-made muscle cars. "I've always liked Corvettes. It was attractive. The ladies like 'em," Talley told ABC 7.

GM 6.2L V8 claims most powerful light-duty truck engine title

Thu, 12 Sep 2013

General Motors has officially captured the horsepower crown for mainstream pickup trucks with its 6.2-liter V8. The big mill, available in both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, comes to market with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, handily outdoing its two cross-town competitors, Ram (5.7-liter V8, 395 ponies and 407 lb-ft) and Ford (6.2-liter V8, 411 hp and 434 lb-ft).
The new GM 6.2 will take a bit of an investment, though. Those that want the extra thrust will need to go with either the LTZ or High Country trims from the Chevy, or the SLT and Denali trims from GMC, which are the two highest trim levels for the respective vehicles. Trim levels aside, if you're in the business of towing, GM has you covered. Optioned with the 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package, owners will be able to pull 12,000 pounds, a hugely impressive figure.
We still aren't certain as to what sort of economy the new engine will get, but it'll probably be a bad bet for the fuel conscious. As for availability, expect to see the 6.2-liter trucks in showrooms later in the fall.
