1975 Chevrolet Caprice Convertible classic impala ice cold mr

This beauty came to us by the way of Federal U.S. Marshals office.  It was of course a confiscated vehicle.  It sat in a Federal Warehouse for better part of two years.  I was told they go through vehicles very good.  It is easy to tell as they left screws out of door panels and other places.  Car has air shocks but no longer hooked up.  We had problems getting one window down. One window never did make it up.  The convertible top is very nice-we never got to get it to go down.  It only groaned and we never fooled with it at all.  Tires look great, wheels are perfect.  Asanti Fs Wheels-if that means anything to you.  I hope it does, we were told they are very expensive-not a clue.  The radio will hurt you, why it needs to be that loud, not a clue.  maybe for people living in the next county to hear.  JVC, hifonices speakerr control.  DBA1600.1011, 1600 watt amp.  DB Series.  Inter fire.  Kicker.  These are words found on the sound system stuff.  if they mean anything to you at all.

I have tried to mention the downsides but the best part is the paint and the engine.  The paint is high dollar.  it is a beauty-full candy apple paint job.  Paint is awesome on this convertible.  The engine is very stong.  It starts and runs and drives the best.  the exhaust has a beautiful tone to it.  There has been a lot of money spent on this ride and it shows.  The aligator interior is awesome.  and show quality.  Power steering does work.  Power brakes do work.  Air does not blow cold.  There is a place in Ft. Waldon Beach Florida Called Ice Cold Classics.  We think this car came from there?  This has the makings of a real show car with some T.L.C. Come to Lawrenceburg IND.  Look her over.  Hit the Buy it Now price and we will pay all the shipping cost to your door.  Call with questions 812-537-0585.  We have sent all the Federal paper to the State of Indiana and now have a good clear open title in the name of our business.  We are a notary and do provide all needed paper to title in any state.   we also have a good friend here who is a professional shipper .he will be glad to give you a shipping quote if you are the high bidder and need help getting shipping. he is bonded and insured. ask for jim......call831/840//3630/////    he also does inclosed if need be. thanks for lookin on our auction. gary

GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC

Sun, 06 Oct 2013

American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.

Corvette Stolen In Detroit Returned To Owner After 33 Years

Wed, Jun 25 2014

A Detroit man had his stolen Corvette returned 33 years after it disappeared while parked on one of Detroit's main drags, according to ABC 7. The last time George Talley saw his 1979 Corvette was on a July day in 1981, when it disappeared from its parking spot on Jefferson Avenue in Detroit. He had given up hope of ever seeing his car again, until a phone call from AAA brought his sporty ride home. Authorities had come across a Corvette with a questionable VIN in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. When they ran the number Talley's stolen car report came up. The car is still in pretty good shape and only has 47,000 miles on the odometer. Talley wasn't sure how he could get the car back home, but General Motors stepped in and agreed to cover the cost of bringing the 'Vette home. Talley has always had a passion for Detroit-made muscle cars. "I've always liked Corvettes. It was attractive. The ladies like 'em," Talley told ABC 7.

24 Hours of Le Mans live update part two

Sun, Jun 19 2016

We tasked surfing journalist Rory Parker to watch this year's live stream of the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans. What follows is an experiment to experience the world's greatest endurance race from the perspective of a motorsports novice. Parker lives in Hawaii and can hold his breath longer than he can go without swearing. For Part One, click here. Or you can skip ahead to Part Three here. I write about surfing for a living. If you can call it a living. Basically means I spend my days fucking around and my wife pays for everything. Because she's got a real job that pays well. Brings home the bacon. Very progressive arrangement. Super twenty first century. I run a surf website, beachgrit.com, with two other guys. It's a strange gig. More or less uncensored. Kind of popular. Very good at alienating advertisers. My behavior has cost us a few bucks. I'm terrible at self-censorship. Know there's a line out there, no idea where it lies. I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. For contests I do long rambling write ups. They rarely make much sense. Mainly just talk about my life, whatever random thoughts pop into my head. "Can you do something similar for Le Mans?" "Sure, but I know absolutely fuck-all about racing." "That's okay. Just write what you want." "Will do. But you're gonna need to edit my stuff. Probably censor it heavily." So here I am. I spent the last week trying to learn all I can about the sport of endurance racing. But there's only so much you can jam in your head. And I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. While I rambled things were happening. Tracy Krohn spun into the gravel on the Forza chicane. #89 is out of the race after an accident I missed. Pegasus racing hit the wall on the Porsche curves. Bashed up front end, in the garage getting fixed. Toyota and Porsche are swapping back and forth in the front three. Ford back in the lead in GTE Pro. #91 Porsche took a stone through the radiator, down two laps. Not good. The wife and I are one of those weird childless couples that spend way too much time caring for the needs of their pet. French bulldog, Mr Eugene Victor Debs. Great little guy. Spent the last four years training him to be obedient and friendly. Nice thing about dogs, when you're sick of dealing with them you can just lock 'em in another room for a few hours. You don't need to worry about paying for college.
