1967 chevy caprice 4 door hard top 78k original miles car That really was just a grocery getter Its a good price considering there are others online that are alot more in price Car is from the the cult following television series Supernatural
and could be the car with a few changes impalas and caprices are the same car with different tail lights and door panels a few real small chips in paint as you would expect for a driver car I bought this car from the 2nd owner who bought
it in 1969 from the original owner who bought it from the Chevrolet show room.
The car is in great shape car has been repainted once no filler or bondo all
original car and no rust one few you will find in this condition and complete. The car was ordered
with small block Chevy with 327ci 300hp with camel back heads with Quadra jet
4bbl carb not to be confused with the 275hp engine. The engine is solid and
very nice have original air cleaner with stickers and valve covers. The
transmission is a th400 and has a 12 bolt non posi rear end. Runs and drives
great and floats down the road. Did a coolant service new water pump,
thermostat, and heater hoses and clamps and 100% anti freeze . . Has original spare firestone tire and jack and trunk mat. Front suspension has been rebuilt new energy suspension
bushings just to update from the old ones. Upper and lower ball joints and new
front brake lines with the brake fluid was flushed with new fluid. The interior is like new and smells like 1967 this is the
rarest and nicest 1967 Chevy you will find I have seen others that fall below
this standard. It has a rare C75 option with is automatic climate control that
works and I have upgraded the a/c system with new compressor and under hood
components for a more efficient system. Everything in the car is like it rolled
off the line in 1967. Windows all are in good order and roll up and down. All
electrical components work besides radio because its am radio lol The car speaks for itself and runs and drives great.
Previous owners took great care of it and I have not driven it much and sits in

2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.
Next Corvette ZR1 to get 700 horsepower?
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Word has it General Motors may offer as much as 700 horsepower in the C7 Corvette ZR1. Motor Trend reports the next Corvette Z06 will continue to rely on its naturally aspirated 7.0-liter V8 engine for thrust, but the lump will deliver substantially more power. How much more? MT says the engine could deliver up to 600 ponies. That's a jump of 95 horsepower over the current Z06, though no figures have been finalized as of yet. Right now, GM is reportedly waiting to see what sort of grunt it can glean from the next ZR1.
The automaker has already made it clear it will resurrect the LT5 name for the new supercharged V8, and if GM is already pulling 600 from the Z06, the big dog ZR1 would theoretically offer 700 horsepower. Either way, the range-topping Corvette will be suitably insulated from its less potent siblings. Stay tuned. We aren't likely to see the Z06 for at least a year, with the ZR1 trailing along at some point there after.
