This is not a girly Nissian GT-R or Fancy plastic Italian car with high pitched engine that takes an expert to change the oil or pronounce the name. The name of this car is CAMARO. Chevrolet's response to the Mustang. As Lee Iacocca once said; "If you can find a better car, buy it." Well Lee... I did and boy did I ever. The sound this thing brings people out of stores and homes, it terrifies small children and makes Beowolf run for the hills. This is the All American Man's muscle car.

This is not a Dragged out yocal custom, this was done tastefully and respectfully while keeping the originality and legendary reputation in tact. I hate it when someone over customizes the car. It's a huge turn off, not everyone wants flames on the valve covers or some cheesy weird candy paint color. The original cars didn't have custom lamb skin seats, they were vinyl and you had to literally peal your ass off the seats in the summer, they had a clunky "POTATA POTATA POTATA," rumble, that School bus smell and boat like steering. Big slender hard to grip steering wheels and doors that took a couple hard slams to get closed properly. This was the American Muscle Era. It's what made these cars cool and unique. This is what launched NASCAR, Street Racing and Tuners into an international phenomenon.

Please stop over customizing them, your absolutely ruining these cars fellas, it doesn't look good, it looks tacky! You don't quite have to be a Matching number weeny to enjoy a classic car, but to get all spun up over matching numbers cars, is for guys with lap dogs, I drive what I own, moderation and trailers are for cowards. A classic car is a classic car they're built to drive and enjoy, not to worship.

I hate to be the one to say it, but the original matching numbers equipment sucked, it's overrated and doesn't matter anymore. I have had many matching numbers cars over the years and it actually doesn't make a difference unless you have a true Shelby or Yenko.

Many aren't worth that much more and Resto-Mods can go for triple depending on the build. It's all relative to the person and I absolutely despise the societal rejects at car shows that like to dismiss your car if it's not 100% original. No car is 100% original unless it's a time capsule. Parts wear out, they must be replaced, it's just he way it is.  I'll take the modern, lighter and better retro performance parts of today, all day long and twice on Sunday over stock. Aluminum trumps Iron and light makes might. There is no replacement for displacement. Period.

Enjoy your matching numbers with your Frappachino and Pomeranian while you sit in your garage and rub the car with a diaper. I'll be taking some ladies for a ride in mine.

I don't want to drag race a classic car, it looks silly when you throw $160,000 into a classic car that can't beat a 2.8 second Nissan half the price. Keep them original, stop putting LS motors in them.... I absolutely hate that! Just buy a corvette!!!! It's suppose to be a big clunky, tire smoking, fish tailing, gas guzzling, tire smoking, rattling, crappy handling death trap. That's the point isn't it? The only modern thing that makes sense to me to do is use an MSD or equivalent EFI system that looks like a carb. Keep the legendary big block and EFI it. Get that small block LS out of these cars, seriously. Big blocks are waaaaaaay sexier.

You don't have anything to prove, but everything to gain in this car. It gets more attention than all others cars at the shows. Haters will hate, but they'll also stare and that's fine.

This is the car I drive by my neighbors house who has a 1971 GTO Judge (matching numbers guy lol). You know the kind. I slow roll by him in his garage every now and again in this car, while he's in there waxing his trailer queen, I'll  rev the engine a little to get his attention, we've had this unspoken rivalry and the causal competitive banter but he still won't take it out to a traffic light with me.  In the 30 years I've lived in my neighborhood I've never see that car out of the garage. Such a shame because it really is a beautiful car and deserves to be driven and enjoyed. To each, his own. That's fine, no wrong way to enjoy classic muscle.

This 1967 Camaro has a nearly full Mechanical Restoration with ALL NEW PREMIUM, TOP END PARTS!!! Over $40,000 invested in parts. This is a $65,000 -$70,000 car.  It was built to drive and steal the car shows.... and boy does this car get attention!!! Please enjoy this car, it get's thumbs by everyone, people just ogle the car everywhere it goes, even in the heated and temperature controlled, high security warehouse, it resides in between a 2009 Lamborgini Gallardo and 1967 Corvette and the owner of the facility said they have to remove the cover from the Camaro a few times a day, to show it off because it gets so much attention. Nobody even notices the Lamborghini. I am not exaggerating the amount of attention this car gets.

For some reason American Muscle cars are coming back into the market big time, as you already know from an investment standpoint now is the time to buy them up and sit on them. This is not a matching numbers garage and trailer garage queen, I built this to drive, impress and destroy anything from the Asian pacific to anything Ford can muster.

Once I completed the restoration, I babied her. It still isn't broken in, so I've never seen it opened up yet. It doesn't take much to get sideways just pulling out of a parking lot. This car is simply... scary powerful. It is the most intimidating sounding car on the road.  I cannot begin to tell you how many thumbs up and compliments I get the few times I took it out. This car gets the attention from literally EVERYONE!!!

It features a "REAL ORIGINAL GM 427 4 bolt main block, it was sand blasted, tanked, painted, balanced, assembled, dyno'd and tuned by Master Engine builder and National Truck Pulling Champion Steve Barker of Barker Machine and Fabrication. All Mechanical work was performed by L&M Performance out of Batavia Ohio.

This is a Cincinnati Camaro, born in Norwood (Cincinnati) Ohio and restored in Cincinnati Oh, It is actually stored in Norwood, so it's a huge part of our Cincinnati History and and is one of the neatest cars I've ever owned. Total panty dropper too, you'll see. This car runs and drives great. There are a ton of gen 1 Camaro's for sale on here, but this is the only one done right. The guys dumping all that money into a frame off restoration kinda makes me skeptical on how much rust the car actually had that it needed a frame off resto. I have no desire to buy a bondo bucket and I encourage you to be very careful when looking at these cars, always look at them in person before you buy. Take no-ones word for it, you must see them for yourself. I had Chevrolet experts go over this car before I bought it and this is one solid, straight and rust free car. Yes it has a little surface rust underneath but cars just a couple years old have surface rust. From what we can tell it sat in a garage it's entire life. The previous owner started to fix it up and ran out of money and I bought it with the paint and interior complete and went crazy on the mechanical side.

I'm not sure what this Camaro actually was, I think it was a 350 RS but I'm not 100% sure. They did not make a 427 for the 1967 year. Those were a special COPO order only, most of those were YENKO's. This car has a real Chevrolet/GM original 454/427 I believe it came out of a late 60's Corvette. The difference between the 454 and 427 is the 427 has a shorter stroke so it make quicker power off the line. In my opinion the 427 is the most highly coveted engine in the American Muscle class. It's the most legendary and most desirable. Ford big blocks made great power too, Pontiac was one of the most feared in it's day. But there is no replacement for displacement and the 427 was the undisputed rockstar of the decade. These car's ruled the streets. The Yenko Camaro was introduced in 1968 and for it's time they were the baddest cars out, why everyone got hung up on the Shelby, I'm not sure. The Yenko made better more usable power in a straight line. The Shelby GT500 was a track car, the Yenko was a drag strip car. 40 years later Ford, Dodge and Chevrolet are at war again, No matter what brand you choose, it is amazing to see American muscle ingenuity back into full swing. If you compared this car to an original Yenko Camaro, this car would stomp it's ass, why? Lighter, stronger power train, advancements in technology and this car is equipped with stronger more reliable space age components that were not available in the 60's and 70's. The technology today is amazing, better balanced more reliable parts. More expensive too!! All these Chevrolet guys get all spun up ver the 12 bolt main rear end... the truth? They suck!

The amount of power you make with a professionally built big block will destroy that rear end. Anyone who argues that does not race and if they do. Bring your wallet. It's not as strong as the Ford, I know that's blasphemy but it's true. I am not biased on Brands, I'm biased on quality and reliability. I don't think any manufacturer during the muscle car era built a quality car, they were all about the same. If you ask 100 car experts you get 100 different answers. Buy what you love, what makes you happy. If your a true car enthusiast you will love anything that has 4 wheels. Unless it's made in France. No matter if your a Chevelle, Camaro, Corvette, GTO, Firebird, AMC, Challenger, Charger,  Mustang, Torino, Cyclone or Bricklin guy... you will appreciate a car that has been done right, and not over customized.

This Vehicle features a super strong and bran new Ford 9" Rear end with 3:50 gears,
4-Bolt Main REAL 427 Big Block. Completely Restored, sand blasted, tanked and repainted.
Rally Sport Headlights operate as they should. Windshild Wipers work properly,

No power windows or locks, no A/C. No seat belts, but that is an easy install.

New Wilwood Disc Brakes all the way around

The frame has been tied to accommodate the big block HP
Engine Dyno'd at 530 at 4,500RPM and had plenty of room to go, so we suspect it has closer to 600HP but they Dyno guys at BES Racing will not max out a bran new engine. I don't really have the time to take it to the shop to get the car re-dyno'd.

The only thing left I wanted to do is put in a custom sound system, TMI retro looking bucket seats with seat belts. (the car has no seat belts, speakers or air conditioning) I wanted to put in the Atomic Electronic Fuel Injection system and get the drivers side pillar post cover properly seated in there, the rear windows stick a little. It's close to being a bran new car but it's still 47 years old.

GM recalls Cadillac ATS and Chevy Impala for separate issues

Fri, Feb 27 2015

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration added two recalls from General Motors in the government organization's daily update of safety campaigns. Both were for failing to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards but for completely separate reasons. The larger recall covers 58,698 units of the 2013-2015 Cadillac ATS, but it doesn't really carry huge safety concerns. In vehicles produced between April 25, 2012, and February 9, 2015, the controls for the tilt and slide of the moonroof are not recessed enough, as required by federal law. According to NHTSA, it's possible that someone could inadvertently activate the auto-close for the roof panel, which the agency claims increases "the risk of personal injury." Dealers will install a new trim plate that will add the necessary clearance. The other campaign covers 1,177 examples of the 2014 Chevrolet Impala from between November 15, 2012, and May 27, 2014. However, this is actually a repeat of a previous recall on the Chevy and the Cadillac XTS from 2014. The affected Impalas here "were remedied incorrectly" under the earlier campaign, according to NHTSA. On these sedans, it's possible the electronic parking brake might not fully disengage and still remain in some contact with the rotor, which is in violation of federal rules. The fault can cause excessive heat from the brakes that could potentially lead to a fire, according to NHTSA. To fix the problem, dealers will reprogram the electronic parking brake control module. In the affected vehicles, the power-operated roof panels auto-close when the non-recessed "Slide" or "Tilt" switches are pressed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) No.

GM recalling 15k midsize pickups over leaky brakes

Mon, Jun 8 2015

General Motors has announced a recall in coordination with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration related to the brakes on the 2015 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon. In the 14,838 units in the United States estimated to be affected, the front brake calipers may be leaking fluid. Needless to say, that could make them less effective, which could hinder the vehicle's ability to stop in time to avoid a collision. The affected units were all manufactured between January 6 and December 24, 2014. The fix seems simple and straightforward enough, with dealers being instructed to inspect the front brake calipers, and replace them if necessary. See below for all the details from NHTSA. RECALL Subject : Brake Fluid Leak Report Receipt Date: MAY 12, 2015 NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V278000 Component(s): SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC Potential Number of Units Affected: 14,838 Manufacturer: General Motors LLC SUMMARY: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2015 Chevrolet Colorado, and GMC Canyon trucks manufactured January 6, 2014, to December 24, 2014. The affected vehicles may experience the front brake calipers leaking brake fluid. This is due to air pockets, an imperfection in the metal caliper body. CONSEQUENCE: If the vehicle experiences a brake fluid leak it can increase the stopping distance, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash. REMEDY: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the front-brake calipers if necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin July 10, 2015. Owners may contact GM customer service at 1-800-222-1020 (Chevrolet), or 1-800-462-8782 (GMC). GM's number for this recall is 14888. NOTES: Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov. GM starting to talk seriously about 200-mile EV

Sun, Oct 12 2014

We've been hearing word of a 200-mile EV from Chevrolet for a while now. First, there was General Motors then-CEO Dan Akerson hinting at a $30,000, 200-mile EV that would take the competition by surprise. Then Akerson confirmed that GM is working on a 200-mile EV in a speech in March. LG Chem, which supplies batteries to GM and other automakers, recently said it was working on batteries for EVs with a range of 200 miles. GM's head of global product development Mark Reuss just re-confirmed that there are plans for an EV with a 200-mile range, and sources have told Automotive News what that car will be. While Reuss didn't mention anything about a specific model or platform, two undisclosed sources with knowledge of GM's plans have said that an EV with a range of about 200 miles is indeed in the works, and that it will be based on the Chevrolet Sonic. The sources also gave a timeline for the car, saying it is slated for sometime in 2017. According to Reuss, the plan is for Chevy to offer a lineup of electric cars, with the 200-mile EV joining ranks of the Chevrolet Volt and the Spark EV. He didn't hint at a timeline, but if the sources are correct, we could see a Sonic EV being built within a few years. Reuss sees demand for it, too. When speaking of the Spark EV, currently only available in California and Oregon, he says that "people wish we would sell it all around the country." If he's right about that, it's not difficult to imagine people taking interest in Chevrolet's 200-mile electric car, whether or not it's a Sonic.
