2000 chevrolet z28 camaro, 5.7l ls1 v8, 6 speed, 87xxxmi runs and drives great, Black with black leather interior, t-tops, Vehicle is in good overall condition, slight normal wear ie minor paint scratches, slight wear on seats. has a ram air hood and a ss body package. I ran the vin through a vin decoder and found it was ordered with special performance packages. they were all in numbers, so it appears they were ordered factory? Car comes with a brand new Borla cat back exhaust system $900. Car also comes with a new T-56 transmission with paperwork $2200. Reason is transmission will pop out of reverse occasionally. if you hold it in it seems to work fine. Has been like that since I bought the car in east windsor conn. I bought the car from a dealer for my wife a year ago, to match a 1999 z28 I own. I just happened to stay in reverse then, when we got it home and found the defect, we called the dealer the next day and they said you bought it "as is" its your problem now. So I decided to keep it. And also replaced all 4 oxygen sensors, both cats, thermostat, all fluids, front and rear brakes, plugs and wires, fuel filter, full syn oil changes every 3k, The car drives great. I took it on 200 mile trips to see my family regularly, and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere Now we are haveing our fourth child and have too many vehicles. 2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year finalists revealed
Tue, Nov 15 2016The finalists for the 2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year were announced Tuesday at AutoMobility LA ahead of the 2016 LA Auto Show. Approximately 60 judges, including Autoblog's editor-in-chief Mike Austin, evaluated over 40 vehicles and named three models as the finalists in each category. The award for the Utility Vehicle of the Year is new for 2017 and separates SUVs, crossovers, and minivans from pickup trucks. GM throttles back Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse production over swollen inventories
Wed, 06 Feb 2013As inventory of the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse continues to pile up, General Motors will be idling its Fairfax Assembly Plant for two weeks, according to Automotive News. This move comes about a month after the plant was shut down for three weeks in late December and early January for the same reason. As of January 31, the GM had a 94-day supply of Malibu stock while the LaCrosse was a little worse with a 117-day supply.
Just last week, GM announced that it would be investing $600 million in upgrading this plant, but it's unclear what future plans the company has in store for Fairfax considering slow sales of both the plant's models. We do expect a refreshed and more luxurious LaCrosse shortly and an early design update for the Malibu to be announced at some point this year, although we have had no official word as to when either will happen.
2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit
Tue, 15 Jan 2013There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.
