Not for the Faint of Heart!! This car is absolutely stupid!!! And stealthy!! Car sat for a year before I disided what to do with it. 3rd and 4th clutches were out of it and needed fixed. After doing some very long research it was time to go for it. I replaced just about everything feeeeezable that needed to be replaced! Hughes, Trans-Tec, and Sonnax servos and an upgraded Sunshell, along with a Derale trans cooler. Torq converter is from a Buick V-6! Fins have been furnaced brazed by a local trans shop with a stall of around 26-2800. (I think you get the idea) Ok; Now whats in front of this is a 383ci. aluminum headed small block Lt-1. I was told by the previous owner that it had Lingenfelter upgrades done to it, but after calling Lingenfelter and talking to them, they told me where to look for there ID in 2 places. One place I couldn't see (poor eye site) and the other had none. The camshaft was a blank core that they (LPE) had ground with there profile (see timing card in pictures). So unless I pull the engine to see if there is another stamp (which isn't going to happen!) it'll just be a mystery! Recently; during this past summer I was cruising to Indiana and broke a valve spring!!! Lucky it wasn't those beehive springs. So I ordered a kit, and they are new as are the new Crane roller rockers 1.5s It had 1.6s in it but I had a new set laying around so I put those in. The throttle body is a BBK (58mm) with a cold air induction tube, The shorty headers are BBK as well. Injectors are 30lbs Accel's Fuel pump has been changed also, with Flowmaster exhaust front to back. And and chip stage 2 from Jet. The only thing that this car needs is to have the shift points changed or set, 1.6 rockers (if you want to race it!) and the guts to push it past 140mph! Yes there is some wear driver seat has a little wear to it, the upper dash is cracked, (typical) the console hinge is broke also. The paint is fair needs a few touch up places, I'll show those in the pictures. Just little things that's all. The car sets in a heated garage, I don't really drive it to much, maybe on a nice night. Questions??? Thanks for Looking. I'll try and add more pictures or if you need more picture send me a message here.

Chevrolet Camaro in Korea - Click above for high-resolution image
There once was a time when Daewoo was one of the biggest companies in South Korea. It was larger than both LG and Samsung, and second only to Hyundai. But these days the name is all but gone.
Sunday Drive: A tale of old favorites and upcoming challengers
Sun, Oct 8 2017Sedans and crossovers dominated the attention of our readers last week, led by the completely redesigned 2018 Honda Accord. It's the Japanese automaker's flagship, and people are seriously interested in finding out how good the latest Accord is. So interested, in fact, that no other single story came close to the brand-new Accord in Autoblog reader interest. Moving down the list we find the equally new 2018 Buick Enclave. The three-row crossover has a lot to offer a family, especially one looking for a nice, quiet ride. If you're looking for the exact opposite of nice and quiet, but still want enough room for you and your significant others, the Subaru WRX that we tested last week may be the perfect ride for you. Or, if you just want to drive fast and aren't at all worried about space, there's the Camaro SS. See? We offer something for everybody. From there, we look to the future. Who isn't interested in seeing the first fully electric vehicle from Porsche? And who isn't intrigued to see the Mission E testing alongside a gaggle of Teslas? A brand-new Jeep is always a big deal, especially when it's the revival of a classic nameplate like the Grand Wagoneer. And finally, we have something completely different: the Rezvani Tank. As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. 2018 Honda Accord First Drive | Feels like home again 2018 Buick Enclave First Drive Review | Fortress of quietude 2018 Subaru WRX Drivers' Notes | Turbo traditionalist 2018 Chevy Camaro SS Drivers' Notes | Demonstrative power, middling interior Porsche Mission E caught testing against Teslas Jeep three-row SUV caught on public roads — Grand Wagoneer, perhaps? Top horsepower-per-dollar cars in 2017
Tue, Feb 17 2015Bang for the buck. That quasi-scientific statistic is bandied about by motor heads everywhere from classrooms to barrooms, though the truth of the matter is that it's exceedingly complex to measure. A fair performance-per-dollar index would include something like cross-referencing MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) with point-to-point times on a track or driving route, which is obviously hard to do comprehensively. But, for the sheer joy of talking about cars and playing with a big spreadsheet, there's always the horsepower-per-dollar index, which is more straightforward, albeit hilariously flawed. There are vagaries even with this simple formula, of course: MSRP for vehicles can change at a moment's notice, to say nothing of the bottom-line shifting that happens with local deals or showroom negotiation. For this list we're running with the straight MSRP wherever possible, and as recently reported as we can get it. All the vehicles on this list are 2017 models, and all trims are reported where the lowest price and differing power levels intersect. Some choices were made for personal preference and some for sanity, avoiding things like all 48 trim levels of the Ford Transit, all with the same horsepower). If this list were a simple top ten, or even a top fifty, you'd be bored to tears with all the red, white and blue that is represented. Following perfectly with conventional wisdom, American cars really do lead the world where hp/$ is concerned. So, for the sake of variety (and the sheer joy of seeing a minivan 'win' one round of this thing) I've sorted out some top five and bottom five lists for broad power categories. Let's dive in. Less Than 100 Horsepower Okay, okay, this is hardly a category we'll grant you. But we've often tried to click off all the sub-100-hp cars on sale in the US, and making this list gave us an excuse. It also illustrates that none of these smallish vehicles bring cheap horsepower to the table - for that you'll need a motorcycle. The segment-leading Chevy Spark (above) asks just over $139 for each hp, and that Smart Fortwo Electric Drive has hp on sale for about the same price as its very distant family cousin, the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG (insert your favorite Smart joke here... we know you want to).
