NOTE I just lowered this price to $$ 6850 today on a buy it now Price. I still will not have contact about the car unless you call me, and leave me a phone no. to call you back, or email me thru Ebay! Please do not pay any attention to the erroneous history report, stating that any title problem exists on this cars title, as this car is showing actual miles, but my title does report it is not accurate, BUT that is wrong, the car has about 1500 more miles showing on the odometer right now, than when the new engine and transmission were installed in the car. YES This - Is an Almost brand-new drivetrain and it only has been driven nearly 1500 MILES, This car has only been driven approx. 3k miles since it was bought with 128K plus miles on it then. It has been stored  inside up until a month ago. The car has a rust-Free body and has been in storage about the last 8 years since my son purchased it from a gentleman in North Carolina!

The Replaced engine's block was a factory GM Block, that the part number is (3970010)  Which was a mid 1970's High Nickel content cast iron cylinder block that was originally a 350 and came from the factory with 4 bolt Mains. It was checked and prepped before all of the machine work was done, and blueprinted as necessary, to build it into a Stout stroker motor that would be bulletproof, or one you could Race with. Meaning it was able to Obtain in the area of 600 Horsepower!! A Professional machine Shop that builds engines for Nascar race teams, did all the machining work on this block first, before they assembled this motor and then I had the  best of all of the internal parts used in its final assembly. There has been over $2500 spent on headwork after buying the heads, for over 2 thousand dollars. They are made by AIr Flow Research and are aluminum, and were the best 23 degree heads made during that time, in my opinion and were professionally ported and made to flow over 320 cfm on the intake ports and over 240 cfm on the exhaust's side. They were 210 CC ports originally,  This was done by putting in 2.10 inch intake valves in them instead of the 2.02 ones! And after being ported by AFR'S best man, is how they are flowing that good, which is almost impossible to get  from a 23 degree valve angle head... The exhaust side also had port work done too and those valves still remain at 1.60 inches in their size. That is well over $4500 dollars spent on just the AFR Cylinder Heads, plus the $1000 dollars to do all the block machining work so There is nearly $5500 bucks for just the heads and the machine work on prepping the block, which had to be purchased. The Crankshaft is an Eagle 4340 non twist forged steel 2 piece rear main seal unit and has a set of Wiseco Forged set of Flattop pistons, with total seal rings, that are full floating on Eagle 4340 Forged steel H Beam rods that have a 6 inch length. The stroke is 3.75 inches and with a bore size of 4.030 that makes a 383 cubic inch displacement, V-8 and the pistons are even with the deck, and with the head gaskets used a .039 inch quench equates to about 12.25 to 1 compression ratio! ARP head studs and Main studs were used and loc-tited to keep this thing bulletproof. NOW add a new TPIS Miniram intake, and a twin 58 MM throttlebody, that feeds the 36 pound fuel injectors and it is all controlled by an aftermaket computer Accel produced, that had a new factory wiring harness with the new computer. The car was dynotuned last summer and setup professionally, by the Guru Mike Norris himself, at Mike Norris Motorsports. The best or one of the best guys in the United States to have setup your mapping and everything necessary, to get the best HP and torque, and it was done on a chassis  Dyno too.  He set it up  to run on pump gas ( 93 octane ) Premium! So the Horsepower is nearer to 500 Now as it had to be DE-tuned with over an over 12 to 1 Compression ratio and  Fel-Pro head gaskets were used too. The camshaft is matched to the Fuel Injectors and the Miniram TPIS intake manifold's flow! The car has a new battery, like brand new tires, D3 Goodyears summer performance ones  and good brakes Too. The paint on the top and on top of the rear spoiler and bumper covers, and the scoops on the hood have faded some! The car looks good, but that is how it really looks and it will need a new headliner sometime. The a/c compressor and a/c parts come with the car, and so does two 16 inch IROC gold wheels with old drag radials so you can get new ones or put slicks on them. J. B. remember No texts and only Emails thru Ebay, but best way to find out something is by calling, leave your name and no. too if I miss your call. so call Joe @ 317 529-6648 NOW, what are you waiting for???  IF you want a killer deal. Then Call Now I did not cleanup under the hood or detail it but these statements are real, and they are 100% true so Call or make an offer cuz the car, flies!! Think about all these items would cost, A new TPIS intake (Miniram) and fuel injectors,  A new distributor and a new battery, and a new alternator, plus a brand new mini starter! Call Joe no texts, or trades. I must sell due to being disabled from being in a car wreck. The exhaust is 1.75 inch Hooker long tube headers through 3 inch pipe and X pipe back out 3 inch pipes through race mufflers, under the car and not over the axle!!!!  The car has eibach  1 inch lowering springs and sub frame connectors. better yet hit the buyitnow button!

Recharge Wrap-up: Chevy Volt CarPlay video, Tesla Supercharger importance

Fri, Feb 5 2016

A video demonstrates Apple CarPlay on the touch display in the next-generation Chevrolet Volt. The Volt's eight-inch (bigger than an iPad Mini) capacitive display is capable of putting Siri and your iPhone apps and right at your fingertips. It's "the best CarPlay display I've seen," says the user in the video. In case you're not in the market for a new Volt, 9to5Mac offers some of its favorite aftermarket CarPlay screens. See the video above, and read more at 9to5Mac. A single Supercharger can make a big difference in the life of a Tesla owner. Teslarati's Electric Jen talks about purchasing a Model S, being assured by both Tesla employees and the map of planned Supercharger sites that one would be built along an important route for her. With the construction being pushed back, it made visiting family tricky. "As if owning such a grand car isn't embarrassing enough, asking for a ride to drop off and pick up said car because you can't make it home without charging really made me feel awkward," she says. "You see, one single charging location can mean the world to some people," Jen adds. Read the whole article at Teslarati. Tesla once had considered creating mobile range extender trailers for the Model S. Elon Musk touched upon the abandoned idea during his visit to Paris. While Tesla ultimately dismissed the concept, Nomadic Power has taken the opportunity to hitch their product onto the Tesla brand. "We are delighted, that Tesla Motors' CEO Elon Musk is thinking about a concept like ours for even more extending the range of the Tesla models," says Nomadic Power's CEO Manfred Baumgaertner. He adds, "This confirms our approach to build a long distance mobility provider for all electric vehicles on the market." If you say so, Baumgaertner. When the batteries have degraded to the point that they're no longer suitable for use on the road, they still have a significant capacity that can be used for other purposes. Still useful for stationary storage, they can be used to support charging sites in order to allow for faster charging. The stationary batteries can charge slowly at the site, but then offer up the juice in a hurry when it's needed for a vehicle. Read more from Renault.

Race Recap: 2013 Indianapolis 500 better than Bollywood; all the emotion, none of the music [spoilers]

Mon, 27 May 2013

If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.

GM puts 3 million miles on hydrogen fuel cell test fleet

Mon, May 12 2014

Have General Motors' hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles emitted enough water vapor over the past six-plus years to equal the steam coming out of Old Faithful? Not exactly, but GM has released a few figures related to the Project Driveway initiative it began in 2007. The numbers are impressive, if not quite of the geyser-spouting variety. In all, the General converted 119 Chevrolet Equinox SUVs to run on hydrogen, and those vehicles have just collectively surpassed the 3 million mile mark. And if you were waiting for us to tell you that the distance equals a half-dozen round trips between the earth and the moon, well, there you go. The better news is that the SUVs have combined to save almost 158,000 gallons worth of gas, and some of the vehicles have more than 120,000 miles on them. More than 5,000 drivers have participated in the project. GM reached that landmark about 10 months after it announced that it was working with Honda to accelerate the development of hydrogen fuel-cell powertrain technology. The two companies estimated last summer that it may have something to sell to the public as soon as 2020. For now, you can check out General Motors' press release below. GM Fuel Cell Fleet Tops 3 Million Miles Chevrolet Equinox fuel cell vehicles driven in real world reach milestone DETROIT – General Motors' fleet of fuel cell vehicles recently passed 3 million miles of hydrogen-powered, real-world driving. Some individual vehicles have accumulated more than 120,000 miles. By GM's estimate, using hydrogen to power these vehicles, the fleet has avoided 157,894 gallons of gasoline consumption. This specially equipped fleet of Chevrolet Equinox Fuel Cell vehicles are part of GM's 119-vehicle Project Driveway program, which launched in 2007. Since then, more than 5,000 drivers have provided feedback on the functionality and drivability of fuel cell technology. "Hydrogen fuel cell technology is an important part of GM's advanced propulsion portfolio and we continue to make substantial progress in furthering this technology," said Charlie Freese, executive director of GM's global fuel cell engineering activities. "These vehicles have operated through seven full winters and a wide range of environmental conditions, proving that fuel cells can meet the demands of real-world drivers." Last year, GM announced two fuel cell-related collaborations.
