LET'S TRY IT AGAIN !!! SOLD IT ONCE BEFORE ON HERE AND THE BUYER WAS A FLAKE(NO PAY) BUT E-BAY MADE IT RIGHT WITH ME. SO HERE WE GO AGAIN....  ONE PREVIOUS OWNER....89 IROC WITH A 5.0 TUNE PORT AND A T-5 FIVE SPEED TRANS....BOTH REBUILT. I BELIEVE THE REAR IS A 342 POSI.(REALLY LIKES THE FREEWAY) DON'T GET ME WRONG IT IS LIKE A BULLET OFF THE LINE AS WELL.

I REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP AND FUEL TANK SENDING UNIT MODULE AND FUEL LINES AS THE CAR SAT FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS AND IT DRIED UP. FLUSHED TANK AND LINES(RUNS SWEET NOW)..

AS YOU CAN SEE IT HAS 18 " POLISHED IROC WHEELS AND NICE 245/40 GOODYEAR SPEED RATED TIRES

NO RUST THAT I HAVE SEEN AND THE BODY IS EXTREEMLY STRAIGHT, NEED'S A PAINT JOB TO BE REAL NICE

THE DRIVER BOLSTER IS WORN FROM TOO MUCH BUTT ENTERING AT ONCE(I THINK !) BUT THE REST IS PRETTY NICE, NEED'S A HEADLINER AND THE CARPET IS STAINED, ALSO IN NEED OF A FEW  GOOD ARM RESTS, GLASS IS ALL GOOD

I HAVE NOT DRIVEN IT MORE THAN AROND THE CITY HERE BUT I HAVE HAD IT UP TO 80 OR SO AND SEEMS PRETTY TIGHT AND NO OVERHEATING PROBLEMS OR LEAKS, NO NOISES OR SMOKE, CLUTCH RELEASES GOOD, VERY STRONG RUNNER. I  WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM DRIVING IT CROSS COUNTRY

THE  PREVIOUS OWNER STATED THAT  THE A/C WAS JUST NEVER RECHARGED AFTER INSTALLING THE REBUILT MOTOR, THE COMPRESSOR TURNS FREELY AND IT IS ALL THERE. EVERYTHING ELSE HE TOLD MY CHECKED OUT SO I HAVE NO REASON NOT TO BELIEVE HIM.

I DO KNOW THE HISTORY OF THIS CAMARO .

I AM SURE YOU WILL HAVE QUESTIONS AND I WILL BE HAPPY TO ANSWER THEM ALL BUT PLEASE BE SERIOUS  AS I HAVE DONE THIS ONCE BEFORE I GUESS FOR PRACTISE

SO IF YOU HAVE 2 OR LESS FEED BACK OR ANY NEGATIVE, OR RETRACTIONS ......I WILL TERMINATE YOUR BID.............................UNLESS YOU TALK TO ME BEFORE BIDDING....THANK YOU

Best car infotainment systems: From UConnect to MBUX, these are our favorites

Sun, Jan 7 2024

Declaring one infotainment system the best over any other is an inherently subjective matter. You can look at quantitative testing for things like input response time and various screen load times, but ask a room full of people that have tried all car infotainment systems what their favorite is, and you’re likely to get a lot of different responses. For the most part, the various infotainment systems available all share a similar purpose. They aim to help the driver get where they're going with navigation, play their favorite tunes via all sorts of media playback options and allow folks to stay connected with others via phone connectivity. Of course, most go way beyond the basics these days and offer features like streaming services, in-car performance data and much more. Unique features are aplenty when you start diving through menus, but how they go about their most important tasks vary widely. Some of our editors prefer systems that are exclusively touch-based and chock full of boundary-pushing features. Others may prefer a back-to-basics non-touch system that is navigable via a scroll wheel. You can compare it to the phone operating system wars. Just like some prefer Android phones over iPhones, we all have our own opinions for what makes up the best infotainment interface. All that said, our combined experience tells us that a number of infotainment systems are at least better than the rest. WeÂ’ve narrowed it down to five total systems in their own subcategories that stand out to us. Read on below to see our picks, and feel free to make your own arguments in the comments. Best infotainment overall: UConnect 5, various Stellantis products Ram 1500 Uconnect Infotainment System Review If thereÂ’s one infotainment system that all of us agree is excellent, itÂ’s UConnect. It has numerous qualities that make it great, but above all else, UConnect is simple and straightforward to use. Ease of operation is one of the most (if not the single most) vital parts of any infotainment system interface. If youÂ’re expected to be able to tap away on a touchscreen while driving and still pay attention to the road, a complex infotainment system is going to remove your attention from the number one task at hand: driving. UConnect uses a simple interface that puts all of your key functions in a clearly-represented row on the bottom of the screen. Tap any of them, and it instantly pulls up that menu.

AWD turbodiesel Equinox, Terrain dropped for 2020

Thu, May 2 2019

Citing low demand, General Motors is dropping the AWD diesel options off the Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain roster. Chevrolet spokesman Kevin Kelly confirmed to CarsDirect that for 2020, the diesel versions of these SUVs will only be offered with front-wheel-drive. CarsDirect notes that with the AWD diesel Equinox and Terrain gone, the only AWD diesel option in this class is the Mazda CX-5 Skyactiv diesel, which is significantly more expensive: As the AWD diesel CX-5 is only available in a fully loaded Signature specification, the $42,045 price tag is almost $10k heftier than the cheapest comparable Equinox, the AWD 1.6-liter diesel LT which starts from $32,495. The 2019 GMC Terrain AWD SLE costs $34,795 in comparison, which works out to being around $7,200 cheaper than the Mazda. The higher trim levels for the Equinox and Terrain are Premier and SLT, respectively. Some reasoning behind the AWD diesel GM SUV's low uptake is their own price difference to base FWD gasoline models: you can get a 1.5-liter Equinox for less than §25,000 listed. While the 2.2-liter Mazda has plenty more power at 168 hp and 290 lb-ft, compared to 137hp and 240 lb-ft in the 1.6-liter GM SUVs, the Equinox and Terrain are notably more frugal – they are rated 32mpg combined, while the Mazda can manage 28 mpg. With better fuel economy and a significantly lower list price, the General Motors twins are at least more wallet-friendly when it comes to numbers, and as the vehicles will cease to be built in that configuration there's likely to be some cash on the hood on ones in stock. 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra debut all-new designs, three new engines

Thu, 13 Dec 2012

General Motors has finally dropped the curtain on the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra. Both trucks have undergone substantial revisions with updated versions of the company's 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 engines. In a shot across the bows of both Ford and Chrysler, GM says it won't use a V6 engine adapted from passenger car applications. Instead, it developed the 4.3-liter engine based on its proven truck-duty architecture.
All three mills will boast direct injection fuel systems as well as a new cylinder head design. Combined with a revised piston, the new engines feature a smaller combustion chamber with a compression ratio of 11:1 or higher depending on the application. Cylinder deactivation and continuously variable valve timing are all part of the recipe, and each engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with auto grade breaking. So far, no fuel economy or horsepower figures have been released, though GM says the new engines will best their predecessors in both areas.
Outside, the trucks feature a number of enhancements to reduce drag and wind noise, and GM claims both the Silverado and Sierra will offer buyers some of the quietest cabins in the class. Extended cab models now feature front-hinged rear doors to allow easier access to the back passenger area, and Crew Cab buyers can now select between a five-foot, eight-inch bed or a six-foot, six-inch bed. Buyers with a mind toward going off road will also rejoice in the return of the Z71 package, complete with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and additional under-body protection.
