This is a "One of a Kind", This is a 1980 Camaro Berlinetta, which was the luxury version with Power, steering, brakes, air conditioning, windows and distinctive interior.
This body was totally done by the previous owner in honor of his wife who passed away, sat in his garage for three years. all work done by Bonnell Custom Shop,in Erie,Pa.
I bought it and decided to give it the "Chip Foose" Look this summer. These are brand new Foose Mags and Wheels. Then I purchased a 1979 z 28 all steel hood, and
had Bonnell Rod Shop do its " magic" We first took off the smog/emission junk off it, We installed coated HOOKER headers from Summit Racing and a new dual exhaust
system with magna flow,to give it the deep sound, but not too loud. All outside bezels ,handles, lights, anything that look dated was replaced with New OEM parts.
We have the original radio, but installed and updated radio, that you can hook up your I phone or player to and play your music, yet it looks vintage. this has all new upholstery
less than six months old, and this car goes right down the road, the air conditioning is ice cold, and the heat is hot and everything works. we hope to add a video this week to
the auction. Over $23,000 in body work was done by the previous owner, and over $8,000 was added by me. I was going to put in a new 350, but purchased a Yenko Camaro
that I always wanted. so time to sell my other cars. You can fly in and drive this baby home with no problem. Please call or email me, wwkenwayne@aol.com or 814 397 1731 on my cell.
It does have a slight stress crack in the front bumper, which I took a picture of. This car runs strong down the road with no issues. I have a lot more pictures of the restoration, but ebay limits the amount of pictures so email if you want more.

GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.
NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall
Wed, 13 Mar 2013
The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
GM program sees dealers taking on way more loaner cars
Wed, Dec 17 2014Given the volume of vehicles we're talking about, this is a significant development for GM's bottom line. Bring your car into the dealership for service, and you may need a loaner car in exchange. And with so many recalls being carried out, that means a lot of loaners – especially at General Motors dealerships. That could be one of the reasons why GM is massively expanding its loaner fleet program. While many Chevrolet and Buick-GMC dealerships have an on-site rental car location operated by a third party like Enterprise (which may or may not provide a GM vehicle), others manage their own loaner fleets. But while the range of dealerships operating such fleets was once small, reports Automotive News, the number has been growing rapidly: from the locations responsible for only 20 percent of those brands' sales two years ago to about 90 percent today. The impetus for that growth comes down to a massive expansion of GM's Courtesy Transportation Program. The initiative encourages dealers to ramp up their loaner fleet to a maximum size determined by GM, with a mix determined by the dealer itself, so that a showroom in Texas can be bolstered with a fleet of pickup trucks and a dealer in California can employ more Volt and Camaro Convertible loaners. The dealership gets a $500 credit for each vehicle its puts in its fleet, and can use those vehicles as loaners for service customers, as multi-day test drivers or to rent out separately. The vehicles remain in the dealer's fleet for 90 days or 7,500 miles, then they can be sold as used, but with new-car incentives. The dealer gets a fleet of loaners, customers get to use the loaners, try out a new car overnight or buy a barely used car with attractive incentives, and GM gets to clock more sales. But therein lies the kicker: the automaker counts the dispatch of the loaner new vehicle to the dealership as a new-car sale, which could end up distorting its sales figures. Counting loaner vehicles as sold vehicles is something of an industry-standard practice, but given the volume of vehicles we're talking about, this is a significant development for GM's bottom line. One dealership - Paddock Chevrolet in Kenmore, NY, for example - had no loaner fleet two years ago, but now runs a fleet of 50 vehicles. Multiply that by the 4,000 or so dealers GM has across America and you're talking about the potential for hundreds of thousands of these sorts of sales.
