I am selling my 1979 Chevy Camaro. Runs great no mechanical problems. No rust on body. This car has had a lot done to it. Has a fresh rebuilt built 350 and a fresh rebuilt tranny. Rims and tires are 1500 alone. I will consider trades as well. Including but not limited to other muscle cars, sports cars, lifted trucks, motorcycles. Will also consider partial trades with cash. Will consider Crotch rockets with cash. Looking for other Camaros, built mustangs, trans ams, corvettes, Chevelles, novas, eclipses, evolutions, rx8, firebirds, tiburons and all other running driving vehicles or equal or more value. Will take vehicles of less value with cash. I will not add cash. I have the right to end listing at any time. Now as for what has been done to my Camaro this is what I know, and I know I am missing some, also has brand new 6x9s in rear and a brand new jvc deck works perfectly. The only thing wrong with this Camaro is it needs the gas gauge grounded it currently doesn't work and it needs door panels. I require 200 dollars down and the rest paid cash in person. Deposit must be made within 24 hours of winning. Vehicle needs picked up within 72 hours.

What's been done-
350 .30 over
 Port and polished heads

Hot air balloons caught in high winds drag fullsize SUV

Mon, Jul 20 2015

A sudden storm front whipped up enough wind to send some hot air balloons flying into the air in Wisconsin over the weekend. One ballon proved so energetic that it was able to drag a fullsize SUV across a field and into a stand of tents. The freak accident occurred at Balloonfest in Waterford, Wisconsin. Spectators were horrified as balloons dragged handlers to the ground and launched with terrified pilots clinging to their baskets. Organizers had started packing up the colorful balloons due to ominous storm clouds when the wind kicked up. "Happened just like that; it was crazy," Nathan Fricke, crew member, told Fox 6. Winds were clocked at 40 to 50 miles per hour. A balloon caught in the wind dragged a large SUV (we think a Suburban or Yukon XL) hundreds of feet and into a cluster of tents on the edge of the staging area where balloons were on display for festival goers. Considering that the SUV surely weighs well over 5,000 pounds, it's lucky that no one was injured in the incident. News Source: Fox6Now Weird Car News Chevrolet GM GMC SUV

New Chevrolet Silverado to be revealed on Facebook on Thursday

Tue, 11 Dec 2012

There's not much to see here, but if you're one of those waiting for the reveal of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, above is the teaser image that Chevrolet posted on its Facebook page. We've seen the truck in form-fitting camo before, and even less can be made out here beyond those seriously punchy Silverado-esque fenders and the knowledge that the projector-beam headlamps teased previously do indeed work. We'll have to wait until Thursday for a full perusal of the "bold exterior design" and "careful attention given to every detail" we've been promised.
Gathering intel and rumors, magnesium and aluminum contribute to the Silverado's weight loss plan, the purported "High Country" top-tier trim will contribute to luxury pickup truck competition and profit margins and the next-generation small-block V8 will contribute to improved fuel economy. On the engine note, there have been rumors of available V6 engines, and when Facebook user John Jones asked "Where's your answer to that EcoBoost Chevy?", the Bowtie replied "stay tuned on the 13th. We think you'll be pleased...".
Along with the "Raise the Bar" tag, Chevrolet says of the Silverado, "You asked, we delivered." You can watch the reveal live on Chevrolet's Facebook page at 9:30 am EST, this Thursday, December 13. The GMC Sierra 1500 will also be there, and we'll see both in person at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
