RELISTING DUE TO NON-PAYING BIDDER!!!!!!!!!!

I'M LOOKING TO SELL MY CAMARO, IT IS A TRUE Z/28.

It is in really nice shape could use a paint job as some of the paint is thin from getting it detailed and buffed through in a couple of spots.

Car Runs and Drives great, has a peppy 350 not numbers matching but era correct. Everything else on the car is what came with the car originally. The original build sheet is with the car and in great condition. It was found when I had the new carpeting installed (big bonus)!

It still has the original interior in it and in nice shape. Has an after market CD player in dash as well as after market guages (nicely done)

The Motor is era correct but not numbers matching, but the rest of the drive train is original with 75,000 miles.

Very solid car does not need any sheet metal or any thing of that nature.

It does need the A/C compressor, condenser, and lines to make that work. The box and its components are still there, previously listed stuff was gone when I bought the Car.

Non-payment will be reported!

Vehicle is Up for sale Locally and I reserve the right to end auction in the event of a LOCAL SALE!

Vehicle is being SOLD in "AS IS AND SHOWN CONDITION" to the highest bidder with NO WARRENTIES OF ANY KIND WRITTEN OR VERBALLY IMPLIED!

GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING! VERY LOW RESERVE GIVEN THE TYPE OF CAR AND CONDITION!

Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial

Sat, 16 Mar 2013

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.

C7 Corvette turbo with 1,000 horsepower promised from Hennessey

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

If you can't wait for the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Hennessey says they will have you covered. The Texas-based company has announced it will offer a spate of upgrades for the 2014 Corvette ranging from a range of bolt-on options all the way up to a 1,000-horsepower, twin-turbo system. Buyers can start with a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust or stainless steel long-tube headers, but Hennessey says it will also offer up three stages of forced induction mayhem should those bits and baubles not provide enough thrust.
Those choices start with a supercharger system good for up to 700 hp, though Hennessey will gladly ditch the blower in favor of two turbos. Doing so will spin the crank to the tune of 800 horsepower all the way up to a certifiably ludicrous 1,000 ponies. There's no word on how much these tricks will cost you - or when they will be available, as we're guessing they haven't gotten their hands on the car yet - but you can head over to the Hennessey site to drop them a line if you're curious.

Looking back at the Citation IV concept that likely shaped the GM EV1

Wed, Aug 20 2014

Those who forget history are condemned to repeat it. We're not sure how that applies to the GM EV1, but we'd still like to share something from Autoline Daily, an online automotive new show with our friend John McElroy. He's been covering the business for decades now and recently found something interesting: pictures of the 1984 Chevrolet Citation IV concept, seen above. Displayed half a decade before the first electric concept that would become the EV1 (inset), McElroy says it's now clear that the elegant, aerodynamic EV1 took a lot of styling cues from the Citation IV, which was developed in part thanks to GM's new-at-the-time Aerodynamics Laboratory. We agree with him that the spats over the rear wheels, the flush glass, and the covered headlights all bear a certain kind of similarity between the two cars. That the colors almost match is a nice coincidence. The Impact (the concept version of the EV1) looked "frumpier," McElroy says, because it wasn't as long as the Citation. You can read a lot more about the Citation IV here and check out McElroy's thoughts in the video below. Find the Citation starting at around 3:45. This content is hosted by a third party.
