Up for sale is this beautiful 1969 Camaro Yenko Clone! The paint on this car is beautiful with a mile deep hard
shine. The color is Hugger Orange and is true to trim tag code. The under carriage is super nice and clean as is
the trunk area. Still retains it's original trunk pan as well as floor pans. This car was a west coast car most of
it's life. The trim tag states it was built in California. Front and rear spoilers. The front and rear bumpers are
show chrome with rear buper guards. All the trim is in mint shape. The black interior I was told was the original
interior and is in great shape. The engine bay area is like show room new with the correct paint markings. The
motor is a 1969 4 bolt mains 427 with solid lifters big value heads alumium intake big tube headers cowl induction
air cleaner and Cal Custom aluminum value covers and electronic ignition. The transmission is a M-21 Muncie 4 speed
back up by a 12 bolt rear end. Power front disk brakes with drum in the rear. Has heavy duty multi leaf springs in
the rear. The mag wheels are new American Racing chrome Torque Thrust D's one pice wheels. I have a full set of
Torque Thrust D's in a gray spoke with Red Line Radios if you rather have that look instead of the chrome D's. The
tires are all new Goodyear Bias Ply Tires. Has a full dual exhaust with Flow Master Mufflers sounds just like it is
Bad Ass! This car is selling for far less then a real one but the same fun and speed! This car also has been done
right to a Yenko clone.

Personal testimonies show real-world effect of plugging in with Chevy Volt
Mon, Jan 13 2014At this point, there are tens of thousands of individual stories about what it's like to live with a Chevrolet Volt. But it also remains informative to take a look at one of these in depth. For example, one Atlanta-area Volt owner says he's cut his cents-per-mile ownership costs by almost 40 percent compared to his previous car primarily because of his ability to drive almost all the time on electric power. Jeffrey Cohen told Clean Technica that he put about 14,000 miles on his Volt extended-range plug-in hybrid for the year that ended October 2013, and that more than 92 percent of those were on electrons. He estimates his "lifetime" miles per gallon rating at a whopping 384 mpg, a figure pushed upward by the fact that he installed a Level 2 charger at home while his employer added an external 110-volt charger at work. Cohen is spending 45 cents a mile for his car, compared to 73 cents in his Infiniti M35. As a result, he's spending 45 cents a mile for his car, compared to 73 cents a mile with his prior vehicle, an Infiniti M35. About two-thirds of those Volt costs are for the $349-a-month lease payments, while 15 percent is insurance, 11 percent is for the charger and seven percent for the gas and electricity that actually powers the car. Helping lower that last figure is an overnight electricity rate that's about 10 percent of Cohen's daytime rate. Chevy parent General Motors hopes such testimonies will re-trigger sales for the Volt in 2014. Last year, GM sold 23,094 Volts, down 1.6 percent from 2012. We expect our readers have similar stories they'd like to share in the Comments. Watch this creative way to pull a truck's engine
Fri, 08 Mar 2013Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.
For these types of challenges, a little ingenuity and plenty of muscle are needed to get the job done. Scroll down to watch these four men snatch the V8 out of a Chevrolet K1500 using nothing but a chain, landscape timber and good ol' fashioned brute strength. Good work, gentlemen.
Chevy shows much-improved 2014 Corvette interior in new video
Mon, 11 Feb 2013If you want a closer look at what went into designing and building the interior for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, we've got just the thing. General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.
