1969 Camaro Pro Street. recently completed with the best of everything. I have spent a lot of money making this car as close to perfect and new as you can get. The  original car was a mid west car that I bought and shipped to Muscle Up Performance in Janesville Wisconsin.

There it was stripped to bare metal and all metal worked to shape. A full tube frame chassis was built with many Nascar style parts, Sweet Power steering rack, QA1 coil over shocks, four wheel Wilwood dic brakes, tubular A arms with heim joints, Winters 9 inch for rear end. The engine was a crate LS-6 rated at 405 hp with a 6 speed T56. Drive shaft is an aluminum 3.5 diameter. The battery was installed in the truck, a new gas tank with internal fuel pump also installed.

The engine has headers installed with a custom bent stainless steel exhaust. All exterior parts were replaced to make the car all new. New moldings, glass, exterior and interior trim all replaced. The wiring was done with a Painless custom package. New aluminum radiator with temperature controlled fan. All the engine management wiring harness, senors and programming was done by  Turnkey Engines. The interior is all custom with the vinyl dash being covered in balck sawn leatherette to match the seats and door panels. The seats came from  a new wrecked GM car and were sectioned to fit the rear looking like they came from the factory. They are full power seats. The carpet was done in a newer Corvette  style black plush. A Flaming River steering column was installed with Flaming River wheel. The wheels are Foose Nitrous 18" diameter, 8 inch in front and 10 inch in the rear with a 275 tire.

Bottom line the car is flawless!! The reserve is at about 60% of what it cost to build it. I will help with arranging the shipping and the paperwork if it goes back to the US. This won't be a problem for a new buyer.

Good luck as at the reserve price it is a steel!!

These cars are headed to the Great Crusher In The Sky

Fri, 24 Aug 2012

It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).
Check out our gallery of discontinued cars above, then scroll down for more information.

Which of these five plug-ins should win the 2017 Green Car of the Year?

Tue, Nov 8 2016

It's going to be a competitive race for the 2017 Green Car Of The Year. With a minivan in the running for the first time in ages, the five finalists announced by Green Car Journal today include five very different plug-in vehicles. As Ron Cogan, the editor and publisher of Green Car Journal, said in a statement, "electrification is now considered by most automakers an essential technology for current and future high-efficiency models." Let's check out the list: Toyota Prius Prime, the updated plug-in version of the world's best-selling hybrid. Chevy Bolt, GM's all-new entry into the long-range EV game. Chrysler Pacifica, a family hauler with the ability to go 30 miles on electric power. Kia Optima. The nomination is for the full line-up, but really the hybrid and plug-in hybrid models are the green stars here. BMW 330e iPerformance, one of the automaker's many new plug-in hybrids that bring battery power to models outside the i sub-brand. Green Car Journal will announce the winners at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 17th, along with some, "other green transportation announcements," whatever that means. Last year, the winner was the 2016 Chevy Volt, the first model to snatch up two wins. Which do you think should win this year? MotorWeek looks back at 1995 Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon

Sat, Jun 20 2015

MotorWeek's Retro Review series gives us a nostalgic look back at some of the best sports cars and luxury sedans available in the 1980s and '90s. For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.
